“A delicious Jamaican meal for $10? Mind. Blown.

This unassuming little diner may be my new favorite restaurant. It's a hidden gem in the Concord warehouse district.

I ordered the daily special, with a 1L bottle of pop and taxes, the total came out to just under $15. The food was delicious and fresh, and the hostess was ridiculously friendly and engaging.“

“The place is exceptionally clean..the girls wash their hands religiously. Ì never neen to a Jamaican restaurant so clean and these girls are so clean and really nice. They price is a little high but worth every penny as they handle the food really well and its fresh ,always washing their hands and an exceptionally clean place .“

Delicious food. Grabbed the stew chicken with steamed veggies and rice and peas lunch special. Service was great and quick. Walked to a near by park to eat as the 2 tables inside were occupied. Will be back again“

“I ordered the large fried chicken with oxtail three days ago and I’m still dreaming about it lol. Definitely a treat at $22—not something I’d do all the time, but worth it.
Yes, the oxtail had a lot of bones, but I prefer that over overly fatty, cloying pieces, and the flavour was excellent. The fried chicken was perfection—not too breaded or over-seasoned.
There were about six customers ahead of me, and I still got my food in under 10 minutes. Easily one of the best spots in the city.“

My wife and I got the jerk chicken rice and peas with salad. Delicious. The pineapple ginger and sorrel drinks were amazing. Pineapple ginger drink has a kick to it because of the ginger. 10 out of 10. Please go and try the food. Will not be disappointed.“

“This is my absolute favourite Caribbean restaurant in town! The pepper shrimp, special chicken and young chow fried rice are my favourite dishes and a must try. “A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!“

Vibe is like walking into a Jamaican Auntie and Unc restaurant.

They had a smoker out you could smell a kilometer away. Portion was amazing, taste was amazing.

Everything is ready so if you are working in the area, you won’t spend your lunch hour waiting for your food. just make sure you get in before 2-3 or else you’ll be outta luck for wings! #1 spot in the Jane and Shoreham area.“

Got crispy chicken wings and chicken fried rice.
The fried rice was decent and good amd tasted a bit similar to tandoori chicken, but was filling.
The wings is were crispy and good, however I have had better in Toronto in terms of seasoning.
I will be back to try other dishes check them out if you like your Caribbean food.“

“Sometimes the food is okay but it's a hit or miss. Recently bought a curried goat & Rice dinner Recently, it had too much gravey and the meat seemed as if they scraped the bottom of the pot. Sometimes the food is very salty and customer experience needs to be improved. Being courteous and pleasant goes a long way.“

“I love to be there when there's an event, because it gets really busy, and that for me, is when one gets to know a great restaurant... service is still amazing...busy or not! Great place to be, for lunch, dinner or special events... please don't forget 1/2 price wings on Tuesdays...throw in some festivals too eh! I usually order some steamed broccoli on the side, to balance out the wings and festivals! ;)“

“This is one of my crave spots. Real home-made Jamaican and Caribbean cuisine made by a real Jamaican granny! The j*** chicken is on point, and heavenly when paired with the rice and peas soaked in oxtail gravy. The prices are reasonable, and friendly staff/owners.“

“I got the crispy chicken burger with roasted potatoes on the side and it was really enjoyable. I loved the flavour and it was well-seasoned. I think it is worth its price. I wouldn't mind grabbing food here again.

However, it was a off-putting to deal with the lady at the counter, she seemed like she'd rather be doing anything else, which is not an attitude I think anyone should have (and I know what it's like because I worked customer service for a long time). She was also not great at answering any questions about the food. That attitude 100% needs to be worked on. If the food wasn't as good as it was, I would literally have never come back because her behaviour came off as very cold and kind of rude. It genuinely made me not want to spend my money there lol.

I was also disappointed that they didn't have alternative meat options. I really wanted to try that Snail Burger but they only offer it with beef. If I could make one suggestion it would be to please expand that to other meats as well to be a bit more inclusive. Our campus is filled with different cultures and dietary restrictions, so it sucked a bit to leave with something I didn't actually come for in the first place.“
