“Charmaine Sweets is clean and tidy, though the tables are quite close together and the seating area feels a bit jam-packed. Still, we were able to find a table without much trouble. The pace of service is quick, and the staff are friendly and pleasant to deal with.

I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry scone — the scone was excellent, very tasty. I’d definitely come back to try their other scone flavours. The cinnamon and sugar beignet was okay, but nothing special; I wouldn’t order it again.

We also tried the Housemade Roast Beef sandwich, which was great. The flavours were light and well balanced, especially with the delicate coleslaw. However, the portion of roast beef and coleslaw was quite small compared to the amount of bread. A more generous filling would make the sandwich significantly better.
Will I go back? Yes, this place made it to my list.“

“I was eating across the street when I looked out the window and noticed Yaya’s. I looked at my parents who I was sitting with and being Greek said would you guys want loukoumades? I went as they were closing and they literally went in the back, made fresh dough and started making me my order. When I tell you these loukoumades are the real deal they are the real deal. “i am in the area all summer as I go to Kiwanis pool daily. I stopped in one day to get a slice and they offered veggie or pepperoni. I chose veggie and the slice was gigantic and dripping with cheese and profuse toppings! The crust was crispy and excellent and I was amazed at how great it was! I am disabled and need to use a walker and the worker at the front held the door open for me and was extremely accommodating! I have been back several times since then. I am going to try the chicken and the ribs next time. The owner is Sri Lankan and very friendly as well as his children who work there. The prices are also very good, 6.00 for a slice with pop! The restaurant was very clean also.“
