“Village Kitchen serves authentic African cuisine that hits the spot every time!
The jollof rice had that perfect smoky flavor with well-cooked grains that weren’t mushy. The Ayamase pepper sauce was rich, spicy, and packed with flavor - the meat was incredibly tender.
Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. The food arrived hot and beautifully presented.
The owner is also an absolute delight and all
encounters with her have been pleasant and lovely.
Highly recommend if you’re craving real African flavors. I’m definitely stuck with village !“

“I have been ordering lunch from this establishment for a long time. The Indian Cuisine is fantastic! It has wide variety of offerings of North Indian cuisine and fusion Indian cuisine. The portions are reasonable and the taste is very authentic. The owners are very friendly and provide excellent customer service. I totally recommend the Indian Fast Food on offer here“

“I tried this place out for the first time today. Food is very cheap. I got a special for just $10. I did an extra two dollars to get a salad instead of fries and the proportions were very reasonable. It also tasted delicious. Service was great and consistent. I didn’t wait longthe owner of the place Lawrence as well as his son took the time to talk to me. They are very friendly people. I would highly recommend this location.“

“We hosted my sister's baby shower here and all I have to say is AMAZING. You will be in the best hands if you choose to host your event here. Fiorina is incredible. A true gift to the hospitality industry and such a pleasure to work with when planning all the details. We couldn't have asked for better communication. The food was perfection. All of our guests raved about the food and how authentic and delicious it was. The serving sizes were fantastic and no one left hungry... In fact, many took home food! (Which was an appreciated touch) Sue helped with serving the event and she was stellar and the owner himself was right in the front lines mingling with my guests, sharing his stories and working his butt off. He truly cares about his business and his customers. We can't say enough about how wonderful our day was and whole heartedly recommend Il Porcellinos for your next event or meal out. “I am enjoying Protein Chefs for the meal quality and macros — a decent calorie to protein ratio compared to other meal services. However, the user friendliness of the website/ordering process does leave something to be desired. It’s not very clear and it takes a few tries to get used to the interface. Meals used to come with an ice pack but lately have been delivered without one, which is also not great if you aren’t home during the delivery window. I don’t love being charged extra for delivery, but I do like the cooler bag that meals come in. Would love to see a program in place to return/reuse cooler bags for a discount on future meal orders.“
“I have to say. Yesterday being one of most difficult days bury my father in law. Peter and Paul’s catered our reception at Jerrett Funeral home and taken so much stress off the family. The food was amazing and the two young mens that was catering did a fabulous job. They where so professional and polite. “I ordered whole beef brisket and 2lbs of wings and the food was absolutely amazing. The brisket was so flavorful and not strong in the smoky flavor which I Loved, fork tender and sooo juicy. I must admit, this is yet one of the best I have tried to date. Dale thank for your amazing service. I confirmed my order night before. the brisket went in 7am in morning and 10 hours later it was on my plate. so worth the wait. highly recommended“

“We had Country Kitchen cater our Christmas party, and everything was wonderful. The food arrived on time, was well organized, and stayed hot and fresh. The presentation was simple and festive, which fit perfectly with our holiday celebration.
The food itself was a big hit with our guests. Everything was flavourful, comforting, and clearly made with care. Portions were generous, and there was plenty for everyone. Several guests went back for seconds and complimented the food throughout the night.
The staff was professional and easy to work with, making the entire catering experience stress-free. Overall, Country Kitchen did an excellent job and helped make our Christmas party enjoyable and memorable. I would absolutely recommend them for catering events, especially for holiday gatherings.“

“Their chicken biryani is incredible! I honestly feel like most biryanis in the GTA are all very similar and you can tell they use a very similar masala, however chachu ki biryani was very different, and their biryani tasted authentic, spicy, and reminded me of the biryani we get back home in Karachi. Price is also very reasonable. Loved it, will be back!“

“My favourite restaurant since 2009. The food is always delicious and consistent. My go to meals are the Jollof rice with Goat, white rice with ayamase or the beans and plantain! The snacks here are also very good. Big shoutout to Lola herself for always delivering the best service.“

Liz pulled off a miracle for us. I only gave her two days’ notice to feed 140 people and she delivered flawlessly. The food was absolutely delicious, and we had so many compliments on the chicken. It was tender, flavorful and truly satisfying.
The delivery experience was just as impressive. The driver was professional, kind and you could tell she genuinely enjoys working with the team. That positive energy really stood out.
If you need amazing food and outstanding service even on short notice Freshly Made Catering is the way to go.

“A sweet Italian couple, Cosimo and his wife, serve up fresh homemade food every day. This deli is our go-to spot for incredible veal parm and meatball sandwiches. We usually go once a week. The meatballs are to die for!!! We need to support local mom and pop shops like this or they'll disappear people!“

“What an exceptional catering company! Ami and her team were above-and-beyond throughout the entire process. She managed to not only accommodate a lot of different people over four lunches, but impressed them all. My entire medium-sized tv production (cast/crew) loved each meal. 10/10 would recommend.“
