“The food is incredible. I am a vegetarian and despite only having a few options, my dinner was spectacular. The veggie gyoza was so tender and I loved the tart vinegar dipping sauce pairing. The curry king oyster noodles were so garlicy and full of scallions and hot and the broth was excellent. I was so pleased with my meal. I was unable to get my phone to open the QR code to order so I used the restaurant's tablet instead.“

“The only reasonably priced Chinese food delivery option in South Etobicoke. Very easy to reach the free delivery threshold. I always call in to make an order. I believe it is delivered by their own employees. Food often arrives before their delivery estimate. Good is standard Canadian Chinese food and portions pretty large.“

“Came in for a friend's birthday party, the price for dinner was decent and the food selection was actually pretty good! We came during a Wednesday night so there wasn't too many people here. I assume it gets most busy during lunch time. The food selection ranged from noodles, rice, fish, chicken, dim sum, soups to even sweets such as jellos, fresh waffles, cake and ice cream. There's also a salad bar. Everyone enjoyed their food, averaging 3 plates for each friend (not including dessert) our recommendations is the lo mien and the chow mein with string beans. My friend really enjoyed the cocktail shrimp with the seafood sauce. I also really liked the muscles. The staff were friendly, esp our host. Each food item was pretty decently seasoned. Birthday boy ordered the margarita, it was sweet and refreshing he said. Oh, I forgot to mention each person was given a free soda drink which is kind of them. I'm surprised as I usually don't have high standards for buffets but I'd love to return here eventually. Thank you staff for the nice experience here :)“

“I have been going here for a while, been there 5 times. Yesterday I tried their chicken on top with the chow mein, outstanding, the aroma, the flavor. But I would have one comment to make, they need to brighten up the inside and fix up the decor, it is so dark and gloomy.“

“One of the few old school chinese food spots. I am very happy I found this place. I was trying to find old-school canadian chinese food. Everywhere I looked up was hakka (not sure if that's the right spelling) chinese, which I'm not familiar with. I've only had takeout but even the decor is an old style restaurant, it's very cool. 👌 It's hard to say prices it all depends on what you're ordering.“

I tried many other chinese restaurants in Toronto, even the most famous, more expensive ones and the ones with excellent reviews but I ended up really disappointed with the flavour. I have ordered from Gardenia House during maybe more than a year and it's still the best in flavour, affordable prices and super nice, friendly people. Their food never got me sick like others did, I'll stay with them.“

“Far east was a childhood treat growing up, I have very fond memories eating far east on my Mickey Mouse tablecloth my mom use to put on the floor and we use to all just sit around and eat on the floor in the living room. Some of the reviews made me feel weary about giving them a go but my inner child said no Milka go with your gut and I’m glad I did. There were two main things I loved from there as a kid. The chicken balls and the Cantonese chow mein. So i got the s&s chicken balls dinner with rice and an order and Cantonese chow mein with no beef and my goodness the smell brought me back to being 8 years old I could wait to get home. Everything tasted just how I remembered. Nostalgia with every bite. Yes the store front hasn’t changed in forever but there is something about the grunge I like. Oh today is a monday and it is listed that they are closed but they were very much open just give them a call ahead of time to make sure.“
