The noodles tasted so fresh along with the beef and chicken and veggies.
Appetizers were freshly prepared with side sauces which went beautifully with what we ordered .

The chilli oil which I am assuming is house made was so good!

“I have been going here for a while, been there 5 times. Yesterday I tried their chicken on top with the chow mein, outstanding, the aroma, the flavor. But I would have one comment to make, they need to brighten up the inside and fix up the decor, it is so dark and gloomy.“

“This family-owned restaurant serving up Canadian Chinese Food in the neighborhood. I appreciate the complimentary soda with each take out and the friendly staff. Food more designed to appeal to local palates, often featuring sweeter, more fried, or more saucy preparations than traditional Chinese dishes making it comfort food. “Far east was a childhood treat growing up, I have very fond memories eating far east on my Mickey Mouse tablecloth my mom use to put on the floor and we use to all just sit around and eat on the floor in the living room. I have since become an adult lol and I don’t live here anymore and I’m staying in an Airbnb that’s right down the street from my beloved Chinese food joint. Some of the reviews made me feel weary about giving them a go but my inner child said no Milka go with your gut and I’m glad I did. There were two main things I loved from there as a kid. The chicken balls and the Cantonese chow mein. So i got the s&s chicken balls dinner with rice and an order and Cantonese chow mein with no beef and my goodness the smell brought me back to being 8 years old I could wait to get home. Everything tasted just how I remembered. Nostalgia with every bite. Yes the store front hasn’t changed in forever but there is something about the grunge I like. Oh today is a monday and it is listed that they are closed but they were very much open just give them a call ahead of time to make sure.“
