The noodles tasted so fresh along with the beef and chicken and veggies.
Appetizers were freshly prepared with side sauces which went beautifully with what we ordered .

The chilli oil which I am assuming is house made was so good!

Passion juice drink was scrumptious!

It is kid friendly and they take credit cards.

Lots of parking available as it’s situated in a strip mall.

“This family-owned restaurant serving up Canadian Chinese Food in the neighborhood. I appreciate the complimentary soda with each take out and the friendly staff. Food more designed to appeal to local palates, often featuring sweeter, more fried, or more saucy preparations than traditional Chinese dishes making it comfort food. They give alot of napkins and proper amount of cutlery for the orders everytime 👍“

“The food is very good. Got take out and really enjoyed it. The chicken and rice meal exceeded my expectations. The rice had a good flavor, and the chicken was cooked perfectly, not dry or anything.

“One of the few old school chinese food spots. I am very happy I found this place. I was trying to find old-school canadian chinese food. Everywhere I looked up was hakka (not sure if that's the right spelling) chinese, which I'm not familiar with. I've only had takeout but even the decor is an old style restaurant, it's very cool. 👌 It's hard to say prices it all depends on what you're ordering.“

I tried many other chinese restaurants in Toronto, even the most famous, more expensive ones and the ones with excellent reviews but I ended up really disappointed with the flavour. I have ordered from Gardenia House during maybe more than a year and it's still the best in flavour, affordable prices and super nice, friendly people. We order at least twice a month, the entire family loves it! 10/10 recommend the fried chicken wings, they’re even better the next day. The Cantonese chow mein is another family favourite. This is an Etobicoke gem for a reason!“

“Far east was a childhood treat growing up, I have very fond memories eating far east on my Mickey Mouse tablecloth my mom use to put on the floor and we use to all just sit around and eat on the floor in the living room. I have since become an adult lol and I don’t live here anymore and I’m staying in an Airbnb that’s right down the street from my beloved Chinese food joint. Some of the reviews made me feel weary about giving them a go but my inner child said no Milka go with your gut and I’m glad I did. There were two main things I loved from there as a kid. The chicken balls and the Cantonese chow mein. So i got the s&s chicken balls dinner with rice and an order and Cantonese chow mein with no beef and my goodness the smell brought me back to being 8 years old I could wait to get home. Everything tasted just how I remembered. Nostalgia with every bite. Yes the store front hasn’t changed in forever but there is something about the grunge I like. Oh today is a monday and it is listed that they are closed but they were very much open just give them a call ahead of time to make sure.“

The shrimp were excellent, it came with plum sauce which is good but I was hoping for something more creative. The Chilli chicken was okay, a little too much sauce and I would of added more Chilli but that's okay. I will say the value is excellent for the price they charge.
