I had a steak and frites which was excellent and cooked to perfection while my partner had the full chefs daily menu and she was absolutely satisfied. “Firstly I wanna say that our server tonight was fantastic. She was very intentive and thoughtful. I was super impressed by the service. It was my husbands and mine 1 year wedding anniversary and we were so impresssed with the food and quality. Atop of that the extra accommodations to make something off the menu. Lobster Mac was was great, additionally so was the portabello mushroom burger. The specialty mock drinks which were made up for us as and the dessert too was just so considerate and made the night even more special. Thank you so much for the lovely night. “Came in with 6 girlfriends. Had some beers and apps and laughs. The atmosphere was excellent, our server was awesome. He name is Dawn. Helped us with the menu and kept our beers full. We had a great time with her and we will be back.Parking: Lots of free parking on side of restaurant. We will be back“

“After seeing this restaurant downtown for years and never going I decided to give it a try. I was extremely happy with the price, quality, quantity and taste of my breakfast.Breakfast is served all day and I had 2 eggs, hash browns and toast for $5.95 and my compaian had a big breakfast for around $14.He received 5 or 6 pieces of bacon two sausages, home fries, toast, two eggs and two pancakes.Despite looking a little questionable on the outside the inside was clean and bright. You can see where they make your food and servers were very friendly.The parking lot is a nightmare unless you have a tiny compact car or motorbike so I would recommend parking on the street.I would definitely recommend trying out the Golden griddle for breakfast and I will be going back to try the Friday night fish and chip special in the near future.Kid-friendliness: There was large open areas lots of booth seating and quite a few TVs playing things like America's home funniest videos, sports and on some news.“

“Wife and I had an amazing experience. We ordered drinks, fried olives, oysters, Haggard burger, Surf & Turf, potatoes wedges and salted caramel creme brulee. The entire dinner and experience was fantastic and had wonderful conversation with the chef and employees. Highly recommend and we will be back when we're back in the region.“

“I went for the blackforest long johns - and left with 2 long johns, a Nanaimo bar and a chicken pot pie! Everything was above par. - the Nanaimo bar was a very reasonable size for the price. The filling was not too sweet and the coconut was chunky and delicious - the pot pie was loaded with vegetables and chicken (including corn and celery). It was seasoned and perfectly peppery - the blackforest long johns are EXACTLY as good as they sound!“

The one thing we all remarked to each other after leaving was how wonderful the staff was. You stand out as being exceptional when compared to other restaurants in the area in fine dining. Thank you. “We were at the Vineland Estates Winery for my Birthday, where we went on a wine and food pairing tour and enjoyed dinner at the Winery. Our guide for the wine and food pairing was amazing. She was able to answer all our questions and seems like she loves her job. The restaurent atmosphere was good and welcoming, and the food was amazing and was a great value for the price. You can get a 3 course meal for $70 and you can pay an extra $30 for wine pairing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back.“

“Stopped by Saturday Night (which is a busy night) for the first time.......and it won't be the the last time. Scott and his staff run a great local bar/ restaurant. We decided to try a bunch of items based on other reviews and all we very tasty....Chicken wings with Med Sauce, 6 SL Pepperoni Pizza, Quirky Turkey with Buffalo Chips, Nashville Chicken Sandwich (with good heat), Hamborgini, Mac and Cheese and Philly Cheese Steak with House Salad (dressing is an awesome Homemade Basil Vinaigrette). Well worth the trip to this gem and to top it off, they have a smooth Jazz band playing on Sat's night (a great added touch).“

“I received a Skip the Dishes gift card for my birthday and decided to try Jo Blo’s based on reviews. I was not disappointed. I ordered Rustic Rose Penne Pasta, Feta Bruschetta, and chocolate cake for dessert. All of it was delicious and I had enough for leftovers to enjoy again the next day. “We cycled the Welland Canal trail from Welland to Lock 7 on a Tuesday in Thorold and made our way into downtown to go for lunch. We had walked almost the entire length of Front St. North, looking for a pub where we could have a pint with our food, finding only closed restaurants and one that we decided against, and were about to give up when we found this gem.Bezo's has an old school charm, with friendly service and excellent food. We got wings and fries, and I have to say that the fries here are some of the best I've ever had - crispy from first bite to empty plate. The wings were also delicious. We'd have liked to find some local beers on tap, but still enjoyed our ice cold pints after a long bike ride.I highly recommend this pub!“

We ordered philly cheese and Montreal smoked meat.Both had less meat than I would expect but in fairness their menu did have a more meat option for an extra $3.50 so I can try that next time and report back. I also thought the Montreal meat could be juicier but overall still good products on both sandwiches.The fries were fresh and crispy.“

“I came 5 hours away to visit a friend in the hospital at St Catharines and just found this place by chance for breakfast. The first time I was there, I was greeted by Mya the server. She was awesome for service. The food was great. I went for breakfast and lunch the next day and had the same server. I love the place and would go back next time I'm in the area. Food is amazing. So is the service.“

There are also daily specials which are delicious, and a price fix menu if you wish. It’s a great choice if you are going to an event at the Performing Arts Centre as it is a stone’s throw away. “Went for dinner here with family. We opted for wings and pizza. Wings were ok. Slightly overcooked. The pizza though was way overcooked. The pepperoni looked like the top of an acorn. Completely dried out . Crust was ok though. The service is very good. We had multiple waitresses ask if we needed anything. The biggest issue for me is the noise level. It's VERY loud. It's basically a shell of a building with tables and chairs spread around the room. All the hard materials deflect all the noise.Even if the food was better I would not go back with noise levels as they are.Parking: Their is a parking lot around the building, but it is not very big. Only the front part Is paved. The rest is gravel . Lots of puddles after rain.“

“Have gone two days in a row now. Once with my daughter and once with my son. Service was fast and friendly, food tasted awesome, portion sizes are large (had to bring food home). Restaurant is clean and bright and prices are reasonable. Definitely a permanent customer now!“

The meal was ok, but I found the bun to be on the small side and blue cheese flavor to be lost in the toppings. Maybe throw on caramelized onions not raw red. Server was friendly and food was timely. I would go back but would order something different.“
