“Ordered take out dinner last night, lady greeting was friendly. We don't eat Chinese food all that much but ordered $86 worth for a friends get together. The food was top-notch! There was plenty of chicken pieces in each dish, large portions, hot, very fresh and lots of fresh vegetables we had no complaints. We would order again and recommend.

“Qings is the best Thai fusion food in the Barrie area. Great service and Atmosphere in a small and quaint enviroment.
I highly recommend their Pad Thai and their Coconet Peanut Chicken.
Portion size is perfect and there is ample parking.
Not cheap but reasonably priced. You get what you pay for and the pricing is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of the food.“

“I was happy to find this new (to me) Asian restaurant in Barrie. The atmosphere is clean and inviting. There's plenty of seating areas and a room that can be reserved for larger groups. They offer 2 pool tables (which seemed to be popular with the college students). Orders can be made at the kiosk or at the desk. There's TONS of food options. The bathrooms are clean (which tells me a lot about a restaurant).
My husband insisted that I make a comment about the think, thirsty napkins, he couldn't get over how nice they were (and asked me to save mine for future use!!)!
I gave this restaurant 4/5 just because I didn't enjoy the texture of my chicken or my husband's steak. However, the bowels are VERY filling. I imagine we will return.“

“We had such a wonderful experience at Hakka Zone Barrie! We ordered the mango salad, fish, and noodles — every single dish was absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared exactly as requested. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and you could really tell the food was thoughtfully curated with care.
On top of the amazing food, the customer service was equally outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both incredible taste and genuine hospitality, but Hakka Zone truly does.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience in Barrie!“

“We ordered food from this restaurant the other night. All the food was very fresh. They had many vegan and veg options which was great for me especially.
A few downsides.... the food was a little bland... tasteless and the meat options in which I didn't eat obviously.
And the food was way overpriced.
4 dishes and an egg roll was 111.00$ which was not worth it in the end.“

“Dragon Wok, is a fairly reasonable chinese restaurant.
The pricing on their items is fairly reasonable and kinda hard to beat.
I got the C7 combo and it was reasonably packed in the container.
Food is good.
Service is pretty excellent and staff really nice and helpful.“

“I've lived in bury my whole life... and CK Chinese food has been a staple for Chinese food in the City of Barrie for the last 40 years... and still the service and the quality of food is second to none...

“Chef Chan is the best take-out Chinese restaurant in Barrie! Their house fried rice is absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The Szechuan chicken is a must-try; it has just the right amount of spice and is incredibly satisfying.
The prices are fantastic, offering great value for the generous portions. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making the ordering process a breeze. If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine to enjoy at home, Chef Chan is the place to go! Highly recommend!“

“Amazing Chinese food, tasty nice portions, nothing dry or lacking seasoning.
I order a couple combos (#3 and #8) and tried the general tao chicken, chicken fried rice, noodles, veggies mix, s&s spare ribs, chicken wings and egg rolls. Everything vas flavourful, the veggies well cooked and the juice was on point.
It is a small restaurant with huge quality and a not so extensive menu so you cant trust they will give you what you’re expecting and maybe more.“

Hot Wok is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It’s more of a takeout-focused spot than a dine-in restaurant, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!“

“We ordered delivery. Food was fantastic with a couple of caveats. Sweet n sour sauce was quite vinegary. The beef & Broccoli, beef was tender and sauce was *ok* . The Broccoli however was mostly yellow and tough to chew. So that was slightly disappointing. Shrimp, chow mein, chicken balls and fried rice were all pretty wonderful. Arrived hot but although we requested plates etc (we're at a hotel) they only sent cutlery.“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“
“OMG this food is so good! And we KNOW great Chinese food! We have lived here for 4 years and have tried several of the Chinese restaurants in the area! We were lost for hope because nothing came close to the delicious Chinese food that we had in our old area of Richmond Hill! But this place is soo soo soo yummy! And will be our new Chinese place of choice!“
