“Taste of Seoul did not disappoint! Every dish is flavourful, delicious, and feels so clean and fresh. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. “We got the pork bone soup, champon and kimchi pancake. I really like the pork bone soup, it was spicy rich and had just the right amount of meat. The rice was a bit over cooked though, didn’t matter much to me since the broth was good enough on its own. The side dishes were very good! My gf said the champon was ok. The kimchi pancake was fine, wouldn’t get again. The tea they gave tasted like burnt popcorn, though that may be a me thing.
All in all I liked it and will be back to try something else!“

“The food here is always really good and affordable, especially for two people. My usual order is the volcano chicken cold ramen and the spicy fried rice cakes. Both are packed with flavor and never disappoint. The portion sizes are amazing so you definitely get good value. not to mention they have HALAL options as well which is definitely a plus.
The service is also great. The staff are friendly and quick to help with anything you need. The place has a relaxed type of vibe, which makes it perfect for a casual meal.
It’s easily my go to spot whenever I’m in Waterloo area.“

“Fantastic wings - best I have ever had. Everything was superb except the music was too loud: we couldn't hear one another talk.“

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love the taste of their yang yum red chicken! I've only been to a Korean BBQ so to find something like this small place in Waterloo is perfect. I original came for the kimbap but fell in love with the chicken and bulgolgi bao sandwich. Highly recommend the yang yum meal set because it comes with so much and the japchae noodles are delicious!“

“Above average KBBQ place where you can order eats accordingly. We typically order pork belly and short rib. Lots of food for two people, and you can refill your banchan (side dishes). It comes with fermented soybean stew and corn cheese. Meat is fresh, but it can get pricey for beef or those with big appetites. You can order mushrooms to grill as well.“

“One of the best kimbap I’ve ever tried. LooBabBab goes way beyond your typical kimbap — it’s truly on another level. The food is incredibly fresh, well-seasoned, and feels healthy without compromising flavour. I love that the ingredients taste clean and high-quality. Portions are just right and perfect for a nutritious meal on the go. Definitely a hidden gem!“

“In my opinion, this resto is underrated here in Google compared to other nearby restos. This is one of the best Korean resto we’ve been to, in terms of taste and value for money. Their free kimchi is homemade and taste really good compared to store-bought ones. We ordered jjajangmyeon, beef bulgogi, pork cutlet and seafood tofu stew and they all taste really great! The umami flavour we were looking for. The service is fast and the guy was very courteous. He even offered us if we wanted more side dishes. We asked for kimchi refill and he gave us a really good serving. Unfortunately, we missed to take pictures of the food.
The owner I think is Korean, so you’ll get a real taste of Korean cuisine. The atmosphere is not fancy nor cozy, but gives you a homey ambience.“

“This spot was an absolute gem! A friend had recommended them, and I was a little concerned seeing the 3.9 star review, but I'm 100% glad we gave it a chance. I got the veggie bibimbap with an extra egg, and the dynamite roll, and both were delicious and fresh. Huge portions (both lasted me for 4 small meals). My friend got the black bean noodles and also enjoyed. I also got the Pork Bone Noodle Soup to take home to my boyfriend, and he also enjoyed it across 2 meals. Loved that they gave banchan with the takeout meal too. Service was fast and efficient. Definitely will be back!!“

“I’ve been going to Seoul Soul for months, and I can’t believe I never wrote a review before. The food here is always amazing — super fresh, flavourful, and comforting. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, and the portions are great too.
The service is friendly, the place is cozy, and it’s honestly one of my favourite spots in town. If you’re looking for really good Korean food, this is the place. Highly recommend!“

“Ordered the rice cakes with ramen and seasoned fried chicken. We asked for less spicy and the rice cakes came watery… still tasted good but diluted. Fried chicken was BOMB, gochujangy sweet and saucy.
The lady who served us was very sweet and attentive.“

“I love these Korean hotdogs they are so amazing!
I always get half mozzarella half beef with potatoes and it tastes amazing. There’s no seating inside the store but there are tables outside where you can sit during the summer time.“
