“We are always excited to visit Valleyview Little Animal Farm! This is our third visit this summer, and my Little One loves running around, watching & feeding the animals, playing on the amazing play structures. Train ride is amazing, sunflower cafe offers great food & drinks.“

“Fantastic First Visit – We’ll Be Back! We had a great first experience at this lovely Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable, and the food was excellent. We shared a tasty calamari appetizer, I had a huge gourmet personal pizza, and my husband enjoyed the shrimp linguine—everything was delicious. Despite a busy restaurant and patio, the two servers handled it all with speed and care. Service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the generous portions. We’ll definitely be returning!“

“Nice place to grab a coffee and get some work done. They give neurodivergent and disabled people a chance to gain work skills and I feel good supporting their mission. They have an annual holiday sale with handmade crafts at the community centre next door.“

“Queensview Café is such an underrated gem in Ottawa. I’ve been a few times now and it’s become one of those places I can always count on for a really solid, satisfying meal.
The menu has a great variety, and everything I’ve tried has been consistently fresh, well-made, and full of flavour. It’s not your typical “cafeteria” food at all—it feels much more like homemade comfort food done right. You can tell there’s care put into both the ingredients and the preparation.
The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and service is always quick and friendly. It’s perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or ordering for a group.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area—this place deserves way more attention than it gets!“

“I'm going through some health issues and have a small baby, so I'd ordered a weeks worth of flash frozen meals. They are so, so good! They're healthy, tasty, and best of all no cooking involved. The portions are generous and I can feed myself, my Mom and my 16 month old loves them too. I'll be a returning weekly customer for sure.“

“Well, I’ve got a golden ticket. This is THE BEST BAKLAVA I’ve ever had. Glorious and golden and flaky and crunchy and not too sweet, and most importantly, not greasy. The sweets shops has other goodies as well, but I got lost in the baklava. Thank you Syrianas Sweets!“

The coffee is consistently fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, whether you're ordering a simple drip coffee or a specialty espresso drink. What really stands out is the friendly and knowledgeable staff, who always provide excellent service and make customers feel valued.

“Definitely worth a visit! I love this place! It sells food made by students of the Culinary Arts program at Algonquin College and the prices are excellent and quality of the food is amazing! Items include breads and bagels, sweets like cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and savory dishes like lasagne, pastas and pad thai. The prices are below market - got a delicious full carrot cake for $15 once that rivaled, if not was better than a $60 city bakery cake.“

“We had my sons 10th birthday party here today. James was their instructor and I cannot say enough good things. The obstacles were fun and challenging. The instructor was so engaged and enthusiastic, he was constantly playing with the kids and making up all sorts of games. They absolutely loved it! 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back!“

Hidden gem alert! La Bottega Café inside Home Société at Pinecrest Plaza is my new favorite spot for coffee. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve stumbled onto a secret little slice of Italy — cozy, stylish, and full of the most delicious aromas.
The coffee? Perfect. Smooth, rich, and made with so much care — easily one of the best in Ottawa. But the real star… the sandwich. Hands down, the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I had the grilled Amalfi Sandwich. Chicken, fresh mozzarella and pesto. You can tell everything here is made with love and quality ingredients.
If you haven’t been yet, go. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep all to yourself — but it’s too good not to share. ☕️ 🥪 🌟“

“This is the smallest coffee shop I have ever visited. I was waiting for tire service at a local shop. Google directed me here for a cappuccino. The staff were friendly and efficient. This establishment has a drive through and an exterior seating area to enjoy a muffin and coffee. There must be a washroom as well but I did not visit that myself. The cappuccino was hot and satisfying.“

“I absolutely love this Panera Bread location on West Hunt Club! It's become my go-to spot for a quick, delicious meal or coffee break.
The seating area is fantastic—super clean, modern, and really comfy. Whether I'm grabbing a table for a solo work session or catching up with friends, the atmosphere feels welcoming and relaxing every time.
The coffee here is outstanding: always fresh, perfectly brewed, and so tasty. It really hits the spot, especially paired with one of their amazing baked goods.
Speaking of variety, the menu has something for everyone! From a wide selection of sweet treats and pastries to hearty sandwiches, salads, soups, and more—everything is fresh and flavorful. I never get tired of trying new things.
And the customer service? Top-notch! The team is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel valued. Quick service even when it's busy.
If you're in the Hunt Club area, this Panera is a must-visit. Highly recommend“
