“Anyone who is familiar with this little gem know they do not take reservations. We always plan around the times and avoid when it is most busiest. Today we were seated immediately in a waterfront table. I always look forward to the seafood fettuccine Alfredo and it is still number one in Ottawa in my opinion. We had excellent wait staff and an amazing waitress. The bruschetta was great, our mains excellent with wine and he enjoyed his pecan pie and coffee. Our service was impeccable and our waitress accompanied us to the dock where my boyfriend proposed. It was absolutely beautiful and she took photos while everyone clapped. I want to thank all the staff at Kelly’s Landing for the fantastic service, the chef for the amazing food and the owner for his kind and cheerful service and lastly all the customers tonight who applauded. I wished I would have remembered our waitress name who made our experience magical! Thank you!“

While the restaurant was clearly busier than usual, we did make a reservation and were seated promptly. “AMAZING WEDDING CATERING! We are just back from our honeymoon in Nassau, and as we organize our new lives as Mr and Mrs, we can't stop talking about what the Royals Restaurant did at our wedding. That evening, the chatter was surely talking about the food. And guests are still talking about it. The meals were outstanding. The Pesto Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers & Goat Cheese, the Roasted Sirloin with Yorkshire Pudding, the hors d'oeuvres, just to recap a few.... were thoroughly enjoyed. With Chef Derrick carving the beef, he definitely finished off the buffet line in style. Plates were full, and then enjoyed by each guest. The flavours were simply succulent. But it was not just about the food. Melissa and Lindsay were at the venue far before the guests arrived. The place settings were precisely arranged ensuring that everything was lined up. The stemware and cutlery were perfect. Their management of the setup was amazing. The staff supported all the guests so professionally. A big thank you to Melanie, for operating the bar with class. To all the staff in the background, our sincere thank you as well. From the first minute that the catering trailer showed up, to the last minute when Melissa & Lindsay left at 1:00am... we were thrilled that the Royals Restaurant were a part of our wedding day. The vegetable fritters were the perfect way to start the evening: crisp, flavourful, and just the right portion size, hinting at the quality of the courses to come.

The grilled chicken with mashed potatoes delivered pure comfort - exactly what a rainy, cold November night calls for - warm, hearty, and wonderfully prepared.

Dessert was a standout: a silky custard topped with caramelized banana that struck the perfect balance of sweet and rich.

A cold Kitchissippi Pilsner complemented the entire meal beautifully, and the service was eager, attentive, and entirely professional.

“This place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just dropping by for the view. The marina is well-kept, and the sunsets over the water are gorgeous. I like how the clubhouse has decent food and a casual patio. Downsides? It’s not super beginner-friendly unless you’re joining a program, and parking can be tight during events. Still, it’s a solid spot to unwind by the water or get out on a boat.“

“Milestones is one of our favorite chain restaurants. We were commenting that in all our visits, we've never had a bad meal. And the staff at the Pinecrest location is friendly and always ready to assist! It wasn't busy on a Wednesday night, so the sound level was quite low. We've been there before when the restaurant was full, and the noise level was higher. For the price and for the ambiance, Milestones is a go-to for us in our neighborhood.“

“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“

“Had a Really wonderful experience with great service and atmosphere.
Food is the bestttttt hereeee and if you go to bar ask for Ali , he is the best and ask for his coffee special martini. The poutine here is best in the city for sure same quality as compared to Zak’s with well taken care of hygeine. Try chicken burgers also. Everything is worth for money and very affordable.
