“Anyone who is familiar with this little gem know they do not take reservations. We always plan around the times and avoid when it is most busiest. Today we were seated immediately in a waterfront table. I always look forward to the seafood fettuccine Alfredo and it is still number one in Ottawa in my opinion. We had excellent wait staff and an amazing waitress. The bruschetta was great, our mains excellent with wine and he enjoyed his pecan pie and coffee. Our service was impeccable and our waitress accompanied us to the dock where my boyfriend proposed. It was absolutely beautiful and she took photos while everyone clapped. I want to thank all the staff at Kelly’s Landing for the fantastic service, the chef for the amazing food and the owner for his kind and cheerful service and lastly all the customers tonight who applauded. I wished I would have remembered our waitress name who made our experience magical! Thank you!“

“We decided to stop in for some barbecue after a day of sports. It was a great choice as the food was fantastic and very flavourful and our server Megan was fantastic. She was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. As for the atmosphere, there are many TVs to keep up with the scores .

“AMAZING WEDDING CATERING! We are just back from our honeymoon in Nassau, and as we organize our new lives as Mr and Mrs, we can't stop talking about what the Royals Restaurant did at our wedding. That evening, the chatter was surely talking about the food. And guests are still talking about it. The meals were outstanding. The Pesto Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers & Goat Cheese, the Roasted Sirloin with Yorkshire Pudding, the hors d'oeuvres, just to recap a few.... were thoroughly enjoyed. With Chef Derrick carving the beef, he definitely finished off the buffet line in style. Plates were full, and then enjoyed by each guest. The flavours were simply succulent. But it was not just about the food. Melissa and Lindsay were at the venue far before the guests arrived. The place settings were precisely arranged ensuring that everything was lined up. The stemware and cutlery were perfect. Their management of the setup was amazing. The staff supported all the guests so professionally. A big thank you to Melanie, for operating the bar with class. To all the staff in the background, our sincere thank you as well. From the first minute that the catering trailer showed up, to the last minute when Melissa & Lindsay left at 1:00am... we were thrilled that the Royals Restaurant were a part of our wedding day. “We were there last night with some friends who are members. We had a great meal-the California wrap is really good! And then the music started. Our friends told us they'd seen this band before and that we would enjoy them and they were so right! Two guys, one with amazing guitar skills and the other one with an incredible voice. He can sing everything from old blues songs to folk stuff to rock classics, exactly our wheelhouse. Pat and Searle (spelling?) were their names and they were great. “Awesome spot on the water in Manotick. It was pretty warm so only “complaint” was I wish they had more sun cover but it was a nice day so I guess that goes with the territory. Bring your sunglasses!

I ordered the jambalaya (I think) - linguini with chicken and shrimp and it was amazing. Was probably one of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.“

“Visited Montana's 13th November 2022 with a group of 7 other people. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and conversation, followed by our server taking our meal order. She was very efficient and ensured all our needs were met. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it did, the food was just warm. We explained to the server who was apologetic, the food was heated to our satisfaction, and enjoyed by all. We were visited by the Manager In order to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, following the issue we had experienced. She very kindly told us she was giving us a reduction on the total price as a sign of goodwill, and also provided free dessert for the group. I would say that was an excellent show of hospitality on the part of Montana's, and we will definitely be arranging future visits.“

“I asked our server Aryanna about a certain burger that was no longer on the menu, believe it was called the Trucker burger. Beef patty, chunk of fried chicken and all the fixings. She did indeed say they no longer had that choice, but said "give me a minute, I'll talk to my manager." Aryanna came back and informed me my burger would be made for me. Yes, they do burgers..yes they have chicken dishes...but I could have been told sorry, no, that burger is no longer available. Aryanna and her manager went a step above and made it happen. Nice intimate stage and seating area close to the bar and clean washrooms, wll separated from the main eating area. I had the Chicken Alfredo - served hot and the chicken was nice and moist. Highly recommend.“

Food is the bestttttt hereeee and if you go to bar ask for Ali , he is the best and ask for his coffee special martini. The poutine here is best in the city for sure same quality as compared to Zak’s with well taken care of hygeine. Try chicken burgers also. Everything is worth for money and very affordable.
