“Overall very good. Clean place, cozy decor (lots of plants, real and fake), welcoming staff, interesting menu with different items than other restaurants. The taste overall was good. I ordered chicken pho and added vegetables. It costs more but the end result is a much more balanced meal. Though I must say the size large came with a lot of noodles and not enough chicken. But I was happy that a large was actually quite large! Thank you! I also really like that they gave me a chilli pepper, I always prefer it. I also ordered to-go a box of fried squid cakes, they were really good, but smaller than I expected, so I felt they were very expensive for what I got. The dipping sauce that came with it was not my cup of tea, I’m not a fan of the shrimp paste flavour. The table top looks like it needs a better cleaning, if you look at it from an angle it looks dirty or oily. Otherwise overall I would say not a bad restaurant.“

“I love Pho Metro! The food is absolutely delicious every time and the service is quick and friendly. Everything is fresh and portion sizes are extremely generous and filling. My wife is addicted to their tea, it smells exactly like brown sugar boba. If you're in Thornhill, we can't recommend this place enough.“

“This was our 2nd visit for lunch. We had chicken pad Thai and Bun Bo Hue today (attached pics) which were as delicious as the Pho combo and Chicken white meat soup that we had a two weeks ago. Flavourful soup, tender meat, reasonable prices for large portion sizes, nice ambience, friendly staff and lots of parking in large plaza. This place has become one of our favourite lunch spots!

“Had Pho and vermicelli. Food quality was very good though the brisket and rare beef portions in the Pho was noticeably less than comparable restaurants like Pho An Ngon. Staffs were ok. Had to wait 10 mins for a designated staff in order to pay my bill even though was standing right at the counter. The floor had quite a bit food crumbs.“

“I was recommended to try this place specifically for their chicken wings by a complete stranger. Normally I don't take just anyones suggestion for new (to me) food places to check out, but I trusted this person, and am so glad that I did, as I discovered not only some of the very best (and unique) chicken wings I've had in the entire city/GTA, but everything else we ordered was so incredibly flavour-packed and fresh- an instant favourite and new go-to, even if it's a little bit out of our way; definitely worth the trek. The things feature a completely unique and new-to-me flavour, but I loved them so incredibly much. The fine rice vermicelli with grilled beef, chicken, and pork, was INCREDIBLE, each bite so packed with flavour and varying textures- I love the inclusion of thin apple slices, I've not yet seen that. Absolutely delicious. And the pho, incredible as well, as was the mango shake. The place is very clean and cozy, nicely decorated, and staff very friendly and attentive. Wow, so happy to have discovered this absolute gem of a spot- cannot wait for my next visit, so many things I want to try on the menu still- I'm going to bring many people here; it deserves to blow up in popularity!“

“I have tried Pho all around the city but Viet Hoa definitely has the most consistent broth that I have ever had. I always get the same thing here. The 311 with tendon, flank and rare beef. Amazing. and they have the pickled scotch bonnets which I love adding. TBH i have never tried anything else here but I consistently visit this place (sometimes 3 times in a week lol) for the Pho.“

Came back after a while, increased review to 5/5. Amazing atmosphere, food, quality, service. Big fan of the pho, pad thai, fresh rolls.

Edit 1:
Second time here, tried the Satay Pho and really enjoyed it 9/10! I've also improved my previous 3/5 atmosphere rating to 5/5 as the inside temperature was perfect this time!

The vermicelli with grilled pork was a 10/10 and the pho with beef balls was a 8.5/10. Pho was a bit pricey compared to other spots, and I gave 3/5 for atmosphere because it was a bit too warm in the restaurant. Maybe turn down the heat a bit lol. Will be back to try some more stuff!“

“I found the place to be very chilly...as in you definitely need a sweater. Went there for roughly 7:30 - 8 pm on a Wednesday. I was surprised that the first thing we were told is that they are out of rice and vermicelli. The only thing we could choose from was appetizers and soups. Other than that the food was good, portions were a good size. I did appreciate that the broth was not overly salty which allowed me to add as I needed and other sauces were not overwhelmed. Seats comfortably held our party so there was plenty of room to eat and for the meals ordered.“

“Nice place. I had stopped here in between appointments for lunch. I felt like the portion sizes were a little bit smaller than Vietnamese restaurants on the West End (I’m from Mississauga). Owner of the store was very nice and friendly lady compared with a lot of Vietnamese owner restaurant in Toronto. I got some snacks foods. So happy with foods and service. “Best pho I tried in the GTA. What makes a good pho is when the broth doesn’t make you thirsty and makes you hydrated. Good price too. Highly recommend this place as I tried many different pho in the gta and it always taste too salty or have that msg taste. You know it hydrates you when they don’t use msg for the flavour. As I’m not sure but definitely it’s not overly salty“

“The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. “The place is clean and very nice and inviting. And while it may not be the best Thai out there but it is tasty and there are lots of healthy options which I found to be a plus. I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. I found the price to be a bit higher than I would like (given the size of the entree) but it's not extremely inflated. I think it would be great if they had some good BOGO sales or special offers so that people in the area can try it out without much risk and maybe make it one of their regular stops.“

“Best Pho . I use to live down the street and moved more north 8 years ago and I still drive the distance to go to Pho Weston at least three times a month with my family. I have been going there since 2003. The price is a bit much over the years but worth the cost for the amount of food when eating in. The owners don’t speak much English but somehow understand what you want. The restaurant is not modernized, you can even see the kitchen.“
