“It's a family run business (I think) who are really sweet and very kind - I believe they are Japanese.

The taste is great my favorite of all times is the Sakura Roll, the cream cheese taste in the sushi with everything else on it (crap meat, lots of salmon, avocado, asparagus, cucumber) is just heaven. It's also deep fried. Many other special rolls options are available. I love the tampura shrimp and the yam - so good!

I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service is always great. I've been there three times but I regularly order through Uber Eats and Dashdoor. They gave me complimentary tea, water and Miso Soup 🍲.

“I visited Yamato Sushi for the first time on a weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. Both staff members at the cashier were very kind and welcoming.

I ordered the special combo with chicken katsu and miso soup, and the food came out promptly. The portions were some of the most generous I’ve had in a long time, and the value for the price is unbeatable these days. I’ll definitely be coming back again, highly recommend!“

“I forgot what top tier sushi tasted like. Their menu is very limited, but everything is masterfully made. The rice is nicely cooked, the pieces are not too big and the rice isn’t too packed. Every slice of fish is exactly the same size. Those details are often missing from other take out sushi places in the city.“

“A small sushi shop is located in the food court of the quiet King Square shopping center, along with the Thai pizza legend Soi Snack. I decided to give it a try today because of the variety of the menu, and I wanted something light instead of the Thai pizza.

I got the Salmon Ikura Don, and I really liked it. The fish was exceptionally fresh. The only downside was that the ikura (salmon roe) portion was quite lacking—I paid 18 dollars to expect the box to be full of ikura. Another suggestion I’d make to Sushi Taro is that they should give out miso soup to the dons, too. I'd feel really satisfied if I could have washed down all the fish and rice at the end of the meal with a bowl of nice miso soup.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed the food! I'll come back to try their lunch specials soon (which are significantly cheaper with soup and salad). The food could take a while to make since they make everything fresh, and the service was friendly.

“The atmosphere and the service at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff were very kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and what they would recommend. The were also very quick with refills my cup never went empty. The food was amazing, the sushi was incredible fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for affordable delicious Japanese food.“

“Last week we went for takeout sushi (vegan) at Mika sushi. It was my 1st time eating sushi. We ordered House special veggie sushi, in which they had 8 rolls with vegan chicken, cucumber, avocado, fried okra and some more veggies. We waited for 20 mins. It was really delicious and loved the way they packed it. We will visit again.“
