“The restaurant is pretty big with semi private rooms and once you walk into the restaurant, you are captivated by the interior decorations which makes you feel so calm and welcomed. Momentarily after, you are welcomed by a waitress which guides you to a seat. The service is welcoming and friendly but some of the waiters and waitresses are a bit less welcoming. They are still polite, but they are definitely not as cheery as some other people working there. The food itself was great. For around 21$, you get to pick from a wide variety of options, from udon noodles to teriyaki platters to sushi. I decided to go with a sushi combo and it ended up being pretty enjoyable. The taste was great, the pieces were decent sizes and the fish was quite fresh. I do find the combo a bit plain. I would have preferred having more varieties instead of having 2 pieces of salmon and tuna. The soya sauce was also a bit light in flavours which was fine but it left me wanting something more. The wasabi was also the same. Overall though, it was quite enjoyable and I would definitely like to go back and enjoy some of their more expensive pieces.”

Two weeks ago, I discovered that it’s the same place, although it has been renamed. When I used to go there, there was always a lineup of people for the souvlaki. I have been there three times in the last two weeks. The lineup does not there, but the food is just as good. I have told people about it and they love it.”

“First time owning a Nespresso and visiting the boutique. I didn't know there was one in Square One and that we could buy the coffee pods in a designated store lol. I thought we had to buy online or in Walmart or somewhere that carries it. We were was pleasantly surprised that you can try flavours in store. Each flavor sleeve has about 10 pods (unless you get speciality flavours) and can cost anywhere from $10-15 each sleeve.

They sometimes have promos if you buy a certain amount, just like the online store has. Will visit the Waterloo one next!”

From the moment we walked in, AZMIYE greeted us with genuine warmth and a bright smile. She patiently explained the menu and Turkish treats, making our visit not just about food but about connection. That personal touch made all the difference.

We ordered espresso, macchiato, olive börek, and beef börek — each freshly baked, golden, and crisp on the outside with rich, flavorful fillings. The coffee was strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced — a true taste of Turkey in every sip.

The café’s vibe is inspiring — from the uplifting quote on the wall, “The best thing I ever did was believe in me,” to the cheerful sign that says “It’s a good day to have a good day.” Every corner radiates positivity and charm.

You can also browse a lovely selection of Turkish products — Casvaa pistachio and Turkish coffee, Doğa Life herbal oils, Ülker and Halley biscuits, Berrak sauces, and more. It’s part café, part boutique — a little piece of Istanbul right in the heart of Mississauga.

“Food was delicious. We ordered the sangria same as the table next to us. Theirs was dark and strong and our was lighter and definitely weak. The table next to us had a great buzz and my wife and I felt no alcohol effect at all after drinking the whole pitcher. Also would help with some photos on the menu to understand what we are ordering. But still would come again.”
