“They have SO many options for cheaper prices than many of the boba places I've been to. The staff was also sooooo friendly and energetic lol. The atmosphere is very aesthetic, and very pretty (played kpop music too, so def for the kpop girlies lol) The chicken and fries were pretty good. It seemed like the portion size was small, but it actually took a while to finish (then again, we were talking while eating, so it may take shorter if you weren't talking). And they also have a lot of options, so u don't necessarily need to pick the boba+chicken/fries combo (although they're well-known for it). I got the strawberry green tea drink and I was honestly worried that it'd taste a lot like green tea (which im not a fan of), but it didn't as much as I thought it would. There was still the green tea aftertaste, but the strawberry was strong enough to overpower it and make the drink enjoyable(for someone who isn't a fan of green tea). So imo it tasted exactly how it should have tasted lol. We also tried the tteokbokki and the rice cake was very chewy and the sauce tasted good. It was our first time trying tteokbeokki, so I can't give a comparison to other rice cakes, but it was very good. However, I'd recommend if you're buying the regular size (not the large option, idk abt that), and buying for the rice cake experience, to get rice cakes as a side (extra rice cakes) because ours had only had 4, but, it was full of other sorts of things, (i think kimchi and fish cakes). Then again, I wouldn't know because it was our first time trying it and it was pretty good lol. I would say that the store is a bit small, so if going with a large group you probs won't have a lot of seating space. There were 4 of us, and we took up 1 table and had 2 extra seats, and I think there was only a second table beside us. But, you can always order to go and walk around lol. Me and my friends loved it and are definitely coming back again and trying different things on their menu cuz there's quite a lot lol (probably gonna try the rose Tteokbokki and the volcano chicken wings). Overall super enthusiastic staff, pretty good food, and the restaurant is clean and cute.“

“For the price I feel it is more expensive than average bubble tea places. I paid almost $9 for their cookies and cream milk tea with tapioca... They used to have a student discount which i really liked but they removed it which obviously sucks. The actual environment inside is very aesthetic and I really liked sitting inside with my friend. The outside smelt like indian food but that is not because of gong cha so it is not their fault but if you dont like that smell I would go to another location.“

“This was a really fun experience. We were originally scared because it is located in a sketchy place, though the inside is very nice. The staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met in retail (Mary and Suvi especially). They have a “Stop the timer at 10 seconds and get a free drink challenge”, and we got robbed at 9.99 seconds 😭😭😭. Amazing place would come again 10/10.“

“I've been to hundreds of chatimes all across Canada, from Ottawa to Niagara, everywhere and I've never once wrote a review until today. This employee named Rayven was the best chatime employee I've ever met in my whole life. I've been a regular to this franchise for years, but this guy Rayven was the best employee. Simply because everytime I asked a question to any employee, they wouldn't give me any information on the drink. For this reason I tried like 2 drinks that weren't to my liking and I've kept to the same drink for years. Rayven with his amazing knowledge on tea answered my questions and reccomended 2 new drinks which I bought and now will continue to buy for the rest of my life. “Super! I was in and out with my girls, yet the little time we spent there was very pleasant! The service was great (I didn’t catch her name -long black hair, glasses, cool alt girl looks- She was super nice and took the time to explain to me a couple of differences between drinks, since I’m not really the most knowledgeable when it comes to bubble tea lol ? The drinks were really good, certainly worth the price and the stop to pick them up at this place we hadn’t tried before ☺️?? “Okay, the reviews were dead on. Their drinks and portions are humongous!!!

They are located inside Westdale Mall adjacent to the Dollar store ( just across the way ).

I weighed my pineapple fruit smoothie ( large =$9.79 ) and it comes in at a whopping 897g which is 1.977 lbs !!!

My large lemon fruit tea large is almost as heavy in volume coming in at over a pound as well.

You get value here folks 👍.

The drinks are tasty 😋 and fresh. The service is helpful and humble. This is another hardworking local business. They deserve our support 👍as always whenever possible.

“We adore Coco to satisfy our bubble tea cravings. The staff are always so kind and helpful. Today we had the mango pomelo sago bubble tea and a strawberry slush with tapioca. The mango pomelo was sweet and bright in flavour. The strawberry tasted like your favourite strawberry jam. We will be back.“

“This bubble tea place is hidden inside, not on the street side, so it was hard to find. When we went, there was only one person serving us, but she was helpful and patient with everyone.

Coco is one of my go-to places for bubble tea because they offer different promotions every month. We tried the mango milk tea, which was on promotion, but surprisingly, my favourite was the honeydew smoothie. I also loved the pink blossoms.

“Kung Fu Tea is a great little spot with a variety of drinks—milkshakes, bubble teas, and some unique coffee options. I really enjoyed their flavored Americanos, especially the orange and coconut—perfect for coffee lovers looking for a twist on the usual.

I tried the egg waffle, too, which comes with an ice cream by the side. It wasn't too sweet, which is how I like.

There isn’t much seating, so it’s best for a quick grab-and-go stop. It's definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for something refreshing and different!“

“Their mango milk tea 50% sugar is the best milk tea in the GTA. Had it a couple times at this location and the tea flavour is phenomenal. Consistent and perfectly balanced between tea and mango flavour. Way better than other branches and brands from Toronto to Hamilton.“

“Well, for a holiday it definitely got busy at chatime after we arrived. There was only 1 person working, which I mean if it's not busy, I guess it is ok, but a rush came. “The staff are all excellent, but particularly a older woman in the afternoons/evenings, has the best customer service I’ve seen. Been a long time customer and I see her everyday memorize everyone’s orders. When people are sitting down at tables after ordering, she’ll know exactly who it was and what they ordered to be able to call them personally back to pick up their drinks. It’s those little details that make it know she thinks about everyone when making their drinks. And she takes a lot of pride in her work. Really appreciate her dedication.“

“We frequent this location of Kung Fu Tea because it is easy to park at and run in. They consistently make a great product and they are pretty quick. Ordering ahead is always best so there isn’t a wait because this is a popular location and it can get busy. There are a few tables if you want to relax with a friend, but typically most people run in and out. Tried the Pineapple Ice Tea with coconut jelly for the first time, it was perfect with full ice and full sweetness!

Milk tea is good. It was the coldest drink I’ve ever gotten at any bubble tea/drink place which really surprised me. I feel like I didn’t even need to add ice! I also got a hot milk tea and it was really hot too. I saw the staff heating it up with a steam wand, which is cool.

It’s a bit expensive, though. Toppings aren’t included in any of the drinks and they cost an extra $1. I was excited to try the small tapioca here, but it was softer than I would have liked and not as chewy as I was expecting. It was more like slightly bigger sago. I also didn’t get any tapioca in the hot drink. Either they forgot, or the drink was so hot that it melted it, lol.

Aside from that, staff are really friendly! It’s convenient that it’s right beside the grocery store so I can get a treat afterwards.“

“Really great bubble tea place! I read the reviews beforehand luckily so I knew where to find it, it's inside of the restaurant and the signage outside isn't obvious.

I really wanted a creamy, thick bubble tea and this was perfect. The size and quality is worth it completely for what you get, personally I have trouble finding places that are consistently not watered down and not overly sweet. I got extra cheese foam on the mango specialty drink, it was delicious. The mango taste came through and the foam blended well. The lady at the counter was also really nice and patient while I decided what to order.“
