“First time having their brunch menu and it was fantastic. The build your own Cesar bar is a great addition. I had the Monte Carlo and the wife had the breakfast burger. “I was just at an event were Soups and things catered.I highly recommend them,100 out of 100. I had there burger and pountine.OMG,never in my life have I had a burger that tasted like heaven. They are super nice and accommodated my needs for my food and go that extra mile for you.I just can't say enough about them. The church I go to has outside events am I am going to make sure Soups and Things will be there.I swear on my own life get them to cater your next event, you will not be disappointed. I review books, clothing and food events so I know what I am talking about.I know this burger might look plain but it is do to allergies that I only eat cheese and bacon.“

“WANNABE HEALTHY SIDE DISH CONNOISSEUR
Currently, my main focus when deciding where and what to eat while eating or ordering out is whether the food item(s) are of a healthier nature and what the price is.

Usually, the items I choose are found on the Side Dish portion of the menu. (Not always, but often).

This is the case at Firehouse Subs, where I order their Chilli from their Sides menu.

Their chilli is meaty with kidney beans, diced tomatoes and onions, and a sauce that is not spicy. I personally like to taste my chilli, not feel it burn. You can always add a little heat yourself, but you can't take it out once it's in.

The price for the bowl of chilli is $5.94, which is quite reasonable, considering the high protein and fiber content.

The sodium content is a little  high - 850mg - but I often don't eat the whole portion at once, usually pouring half the chilli over a baked potato (which I get from a Sides menu at another nearby restaurant, for 3.49!).

Usually, I order pick up or just walk in and place my order.  The staff have always been polite and friendly. But due to my not eating in, I am not able to accurately review the restaurant's atmosphere.

PS - On my next visit, I plan to try their side salad - yes, it's from their Sides portion of their menu.
It is $4.95 and includes romaine lettuce, tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, provolone cheese, and your choice of dressing.

“They are located conveniently on Clifton Hill where you can order outside on the street, or sometimes inside the gift shop there. They had many delicious flavours but we had the matcha soft serve. We loved the soft serve, especially the coating of pistachios that added a nice crunch. We however thought that the matcha taste could be stronger and thought the large size would’ve been larger.“

There was a minor mix-up with an order, but both Simrat and the management handled it with great understanding and professionalism.
