“A Wonderful Birthday Experience at Bosporus Turkish Cuisine We had the pleasure of dining at Bosporus Turkish Cuisine last night to celebrate my birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy autumn charm that made the evening feel truly special. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing waitress, Eda, who made the night extraordinary. Her kindness, attentiveness, and warm personality created such a welcoming experience. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and even helped my husband organize a lovely surprise for me, which was the highlight of the evening! The food was absolutely exceptional—each dish was a delightful combination of authentic Turkish flavors and elegant presentation. From the rich appetizers to the decadent desserts, every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and passion. Thank you, Eda, and the entire team at Bosporus Turkish Cuisine, for making my birthday celebration so memorable. Your impeccable service, delicious food, and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten. We can’t wait to return and will certainly recommend your restaurant to all our friends and family. Sincerely, Sabina”
“The store is very clean and the environment is very good👍The dishes are very fresh😘The service attitude. I also highly recommend the quail eggs, the meat slices are tender and chewy, the gluten is very chewy, the King of Kings fried sausages and other fried foods are very crispy and delicious😋”
“Loved it! Huge portions, fast and friendly service. 100% would recommend!”

“Los tacos más ricos, la gringa de pastor es increíble y la tripa es lo más rico con sabor mexicano. Siempre vuelvo todos los domingos. El servicio de la señorita Brenda y de Mauricio son excelentes!

“The place is cozy and flavours were great! Portions are huge as well. We had the lunch special combo (Sauerkraut Fish) that includes a side dish, rice and a drink. They have spicy and non-spicy options for all palates with lots of add-on options too. Will definitely be back to try their spicy options next time!”

“My friend recently hosted a birthday event at ON/OFF in North York, and it was a great experience! The staff did a fantastic job accommodating our large group. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the Pan Special Shrimp Cake, Chinese Style Poutine, and Wasabi Octopus, all of which were delicious. The only downside was that the seating felt a bit cramped for everyone to eat comfortably. Overall, it’s a fun spot with tasty food, perfect for group celebrations!”
“We recently hired Sandra's Kitchen Catering for my sister’s baby shower event, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was impressive. Sandra and her team were professional, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
The menu options were varied and accommodating, and they worked with me to customize the perfect spread for my guests. The quality of the food was top-notch, and everyone raved about the flavors and portions.
I highly recommend Sandra's Kitchen Catering for any event. They truly exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to working with them again in the future!

“we got the cream shrimp, tangsuyuk, jjamppong, white jjamppong, and jjajjangmyeon! i especially loved the jjajjangmyeon and cream shrimp, the flavours were just like the ones in korea. i really love the smokey taste of the jjamppong and it also has tons of seafood. despite it being really affordable they definitely didn’t slack on the food quality and quantity!”
“I had a great experience at Iranian Shamshiri Restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the price. However, the number of seats is limited, and the restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends. This often results in long wait times for a table. I’d recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid waiting. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a delicious meal, and I would definitely recommend it

“Midori is always one of my favourite place to go for savoury ramen. I had the Hitori combo that you can pick one of the signature ramen which comes with chicken gyoza and a pop. I picked the black garlic ramen for the combo. If you are not a garlic fanatic, I will suggest pick other choices. The soup is very rich and velvety. The cha siu is a bit thin though but the chicken is nice and tender. I always like their soup as there’s no msg. The chicken gyoza is crispy and juicy. I will try the Truffle ramen next time.”

“In a restaurant world dressed up with disingenuous marketing JOEY Yorkdale offers you a magnificent spot outside downtown Toronto that delivers what it promises on their home page, “Our guests, new or old, are not treated just as guests, but as if they are a good friend we are catching up with.” And this was the experience for me and my two close chums who selected this spot primarily because it was the midpoint between our diverse locations. From first arriving, the hostess took the time to offer a complimentary champagne glass and inquire if our visit that day was for a special occasion. It was a reunion and she graciously followed up with pleasant comments establishing a charming mood. When the waitress came to greet us, she also took the time to find out more about the nature of our reunion and only then flawlessly delved into the menu. I understand this is common practice at luxury restaurants; however, I would contend that, although there are dining establishments that treat patrons similarly, it is not simply about what you do but, rather, how well you do it. And this is the reason I am taking the time to write this review: JOEY does it very well. Having frequented several luxury restaurants in downtown Toronto I can anecdotally share with you that there have been far too many occasions when the host and/or server left a poor impression. Whether it is conceited complacency in their brand or even our own bigotry of unrealistic expectations, there seldom is a meeting point of both food, service, and overall impression. The treatment at JOEY was so genuine that it left an indelible impression. Each interaction with the server and hostess throughout complemented our dining experience. We were then surprised with dessert on the house presented on an expansive serving plate with the words “Happy Reunion!” written in caramel. Delicious, delicious caramel. Mmmm, but I digress… Over the years I have written to restaurants far more complaints than compliments and, in retrospect, this is unfair. It takes a team and a culture to create this magic and it can be quite challenging to get it right. When it comes together as well as it did on our visit, it is the sort of joy that can accompany you throughout your day. At JOEY they seem to have captured the right formula and I look forward to returning and catching up with “good friends” that understand that going out to eat today is about so much more.”
“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.”
“Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Came on a Saturday night and asked the waiter what he would recommend and he did not disappoint. He recommended the cumin lamb, eggplant Lo mein and we stuck with a classic general tso’s chicken just in case. The 2 dishes he recommended were our favourite. We ordered another recommended dish to go, since we are from out of town, the pickled pepper and bamboo beef. Lots of great flavours and perfect spices. Service was incredibly fast and knowledgeable with insightful recommendations. Ambiance was quaint, and some old-time classic jazz instrumental in the background created a lovely atmosphere. Top it off with some delicious nutty desserts to make a perfect meal on a Saturday night. Whenever we are out this way, we will definitely be coming back!”
“Was there for a Sunday brunch with friends. Food is awesome and coffee is good. The workers were very nice but I felt that they were short staffed because it took very long for them to greet us and bring us water. It was over 10min before a waitress was able to take our order. The food was also slow to show up and they may have missed a couple things from the order as it didnt come out until we asked for it after waiting a while. Everybody seemed swamped and perhaps there needs to be a designated server among them.
Overall, convenient location, great food and good vibes though”
“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! Thank you to all the staff and the chef for making our family event a success, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!”
“"As a coffee lover, especially a fan of macchiato, I can confidently say that Another Land Coffee Shop is a must-visit! Their macchiato is absolutely delightful—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The service is exceptional; the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. The decorations are stylish and cozy, creating a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding or meeting up with friends. This place truly stands out, and I can't recommend it enough for fellow coffee enthusiasts!"
I loved the coffe so so much”

“Restaurant Review: A Must-Try for Korean Fried Chicken Lovers
I recently visited this Korean restaurant in Toronto, and it was fantastic! Their fried chicken is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The variety of sauces, especially the soy garlic is incredible.
What truly stood out was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with big smiles and were super attentive, making me feel right at home. If you’re craving delicious Korean fried chicken and great service, this is the spot to visit!”

“Great service but I feel bad for the woman working at the front counter… theirs 4 homeless ppl just sleeping at the dinning area all over don’t think this is very good for the atmosphere of the restaurant and service staff, workers really hope that someone from higher up see’s this and takes care of this..”
“My son joined WillowWood School in Grade 6 and it was not just a game changer for him but for us as a family too. Constantly struggling earlier to cope up academically, socially and emotionally, he found a safe, positive, non-judgemental and nurturing school environment to learn and grow. Shout out to all the teachers and staff for being exceptionally understanding, patient, compassionate and skilled to help my child “Learn with Dignity”, a motto that the school unequivocally stands by. We are lucky and grateful that we found you!”
“It is the only factory I have ever seen in Canada that is the most disciplined, safest, cleanest, respects its employees and cares about their opinions. By the way, there are no additives in the food they produce. The smell of freshly baked croissants makes people feel in a peaceful and very happy family environment.???”
“Well it's nice it's a gas station that has a small grocery space, it's always clean inside they have washroom inside for customers, they do sell coffee which is not exactly my cup of coffee, they is fresh food to eat on the go but never checked cause I only come here for gas and plus it is expensive in my opinion but I do like this location staff are nice so I continue to come here and who knows maybe one day I will try there fresh food.”
“The food is great (we love the 5 piece chicken nuggets combo with fries, onion rings, mama and papa burger burgers). ? ? This location is generally well maintained and clean. There are male, female, and family washrooms ? It's odd that there are no locks on the washrooms recently (not sure what's going with that) so we couldn't use it. The customer service is generally good, no long lines or wait. Calling in and picking up or having it delivered is usually not a long wait either. There is parking in front of the restaurant, on the back and side. When our kid was smaller, we bought the kid's meal and let him play in the park at the back when the weather was fine.”
“Alright, let's talk A&W Canada, real talk.
Basically, it's that fast-food joint you hit up when you want something that feels a bit more legit than your average burger run.
* The Beef Thing: They're kinda known for saying their beef's better, and honestly, a lot of people agree. It tastes...beefier? Less mystery meat, more actual burger.
* Root Beer, Duh: Seriously, their root beer is iconic. If you haven't had it, you're missing out. It's that creamy, old-school kind that hits the spot.
* Teen Burger Love: That's their classic, and it's a crowd-pleaser for a reason. Simple, tasty, gets the job done.
* Breakfast Wins: Surprisingly, their breakfast is pretty solid. Like, "I'd actually choose this" solid.
* Canadian Vibes: It's a Canadian thing, you know? It's got that comfy, familiar feel.
* Sometimes It's...Fast Food: Look, it's still fast food. Sometimes you get a perfect burger, sometimes it's just okay. It depends on the location and the day, like any other fast food place.”
“Everytime I visit this location they have been professional, efficient and friendly. As someone who needs their coffee to function for the day, this is a great spot to pick up fresh coffee and they have never gotten my order wrong which is something to appreciate.
Parking: It's at the gas station so about 6 to 8 spots, 2 of them are for handicap parking”
““I recently tried Subway’s breakfast combo and appreciated the value of their buy-one-get-one-free offer. I ordered a footlong on cheese and herb bread, customized with fresh veggies and a mix of spicy, chipotle, and sweet sauces. The combination created a well-balanced flavor profile, adding just the right amount of kick.
From a customer satisfaction standpoint, Subway met the key criteria for convenience, quality, and variety. The combo included a drink and the choice between cookies or chips, which added flexibility to the meal experience. The prompt service and the ability to customize each sandwich showed effective process management in action. Overall, I’d recommend this as an ideal quick breakfast option for anyone looking to maximize both quality and value.”
Vegetarian options: They take care about vegetarians especially changing gloves frequently is an outstanding habit that I liked.”
“The food has a taste of hometown. The signature spicy crab is worthy of being the signature, the crab🦀 is very fresh and the meat is plump. The grilled fish is also great. However, there was probably a lot of MSG in the food, which made my mouth feel dry after eating. Overall it is highly recommended”
“Taste good but a bit too much seasoning that you feel thirsty after.”
“Its a wonderful place to enjoy a hearty and authentic meal. I visited with friends, and we were impressed by the fresh ingredients and rich flavors in every dish. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back for more”

“I entered the restaurant and was greeted warmly by the staff. The ambiance was cozy and inviting. I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and a side of garlic bread. The service was efficient, and my order arrived promptly. The pizza was delicious, with the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. The garlic bread was also flavorful and satisfying. Overall, it was a great dining experience at Pizza Pizza, and I would definitely return for more tasty pizza!”

“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc”
“Our waitress, Valeriia was an expectational on all levels. Look forward to coming back to dining here again.
Vegetarian options: It’s nice to see this option.terrific
Dietary restrictions: Wonderful

“I love this place n i met the owner once too but the prices on ubereats and doordash are too high compared to in store. Even with the bogo and uber eats subscription 2 sandwiches come out to 26 dollars after tax and fees! And the simbas experience which is usually a really good deal in store is the same too!!!!!! If it werent for the prices i would be order online. Also kinda disappointed at the highest spice level, make it spicier!”
“Tried the Honey Fries, Chili Toppoki, Real Chicago Pizza and Cheese balls (on the house).
The honey fries were nice and crispy with a hint of sweetness however I prefer the cheesling fries over these.
The Chili Toppoki was good. I like that it includes fish cakes, imitation crab and veggies such as green onions and cabbage, not just rice cakes. It can be very spicy if you can’t handle spice.
The real chicago style pizza was super cheesy as expected. The crust was also loaded with cheese and the dough was soft and chewy. I wished there was more tomato sauce on the pizza and more meat to increase the savouriness.
The cheese balls were crunchy and chewy with a hint of sweetness from the cheese.
I would recommend coming to this place and giving them a try.”
“Wanted to treat my tenants and since I was far from downtown and my regular go-to place Fresca, I googled and saw the many great reciews so gave it a try. I found it not bad but did find the dough on the dry side and a bit over cooked. Owner is nice and makes the pies himself. When I was there I saw him turn down an order of 6 pizzas for that evening. Overall it was not bad”
“Hands down the BEST Burger in the city. Whenever I get the urge for a berg its hard to top my own,, A big pain in the arse. BUT no more!! Because Yonge Burger is is the best of the best Burg's in Toronto! French fries, onion rings are delicious too. Also, you can't beat the price. Also Quality & Service is outstanding.”
“Friendly staff and nice ambiance. Very clean and the staff was very attentive. Hoping it will stay that way specially the quality of their foods. We loved their Pho soup, Grilled chicken and pork chop with rice and most specially their fried spring rolls. Highly recommended!👍”

“Not truly wheelchair accessible. I was very much looking forward to dining here. After reading some of the other comments in the question section, we called to confirm the extent to which they are wheelchair accessible. Utterly disappointed to find out that although they have a ramp, the only accessible dining areas are if you're with one of the large groups. Meaning that as an individual with accessibility needs, I was excluded from dining at this restaurant. My accessibility needs are temporary, however you can guarantee I won't be dining at this restaurant even when I'm able to walk again, until they rectify this situation. Inexcusable to exclude people with mobility needs in this day and age.”
“I celebrated my birthday dinner at Jumi Gozen Bar with my boyfriend, and it was an experience to remember. The meal was far from a typical omakase—each dish was different, offering unique presentations that added an exciting visual element to the dining experience. From intricate plating to unexpected flavor combinations, every course felt like a little surprise, keeping us eager for the next. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the creativity behind each dish really stood out. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, perfect for a special occasion.”
“If not for a recommendation, I would've never visited since obviously I do not eat Kosher.
Excellent steak! and meat platter! Great service. Appetizers and smashed potatoes are very good also.
Initial sticker shock; but you can share steak and apps to make it reasonable.
I'd come back for steak alone.”
“Excellent customer service. The owner, Vera, responds quickly to calls & messages and has been very acomodating for my special event. The food is exquisite, the decor, music & atmosphere is outstanding. Vera and her team has provided great customers service and will be happy to return in the future.”
“The crispiest Calamari,
Perfect winds and a ton of more choices, make sure you know how many people you're grabbing food for, because it's so easy to buy more than you need!
(These guys will make you catering sized To go boxes & make it so easy (& Cheap!) to feed an entire crowd great food!)”
“I dined in with my boyfriend and friend on Saturday ($45.99/per person) evening around 9:30pm and was notified the kitchen will close at 10:30pm. We would have about 1h to eat as we were really hungry walking in and pretty full after. This is my third time dining at this restaurant location and the beef on the all day menu is my favourite! They only accept cash or debit!”
Cheap Eats
“Was there today with my trini friend and we got doubles, veggie dhal puri, aloo pie and curry potato and channa and dhal puri. It was so good. The lady made us feel like we were back home and the food is amazing. I'll be coming back for sure. It's the Guyanese and trini ladies with the little girl that kept dropping her wallet. Lol. Thank you for the wonderful service and great food.”
“I recently tried [ feri kasif and was blown away! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality. The flavors were authentic and absolutely delicious. The [ feri ba maze sandwich a specific dish, The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. This place truly captures the essence of Persian fast food with a modern twist. Five stars all the way! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of Persian fast food in Toronto.
Let me know if you’d like to add anything specific!”
“Staff are sweet, friendly! I often come after art class because it's so close, but their menu is so diverse and ranges from milky to fruity. I was a little bit skeptical about the "cream cheese top", but it is delicious and now I always get extra. Love this bubble tea spot.”
“Micheal and assume his wife run this family joint. They treat everyone like family. Ordered 4 chicken salad and souvlaki dinners and what a good job on food. The picture of the water is symbol of their heart. I forgot to ask for water for the kids and they give the kid a bottle and say don’t worry about it. Michael saw my kids and he brought them two bag of fries while we waited for our food.
This is not a one off act of kindness, a young guy was about to leave and they packed up some soup for him to try.
DON’T go expecting free stuff you cheapskate!!! Go because they are good folks producing quality food and it shows.
TIP well!!!”
“We came to Gorditas to get tacos as take out since we had heard great things about this place. The food did not disappoint! I got the carnitas (pork), and my partner got the bistec (beef) so we could try different items on the menu. The tacos were very filling, and the carnitas in particular were super juicy. They give you the spicy sauce on the side so you can dress them with as much spice as you'd like. We appreciate that and definitely plan to return to try more of their menu items.”
“Asgar and team provide excellent food at a great value. The chicken dishes are made with the perfect amount of spices. The quantity of food is enough to feed two people per plate. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great tasting food and great service”
“The Cubs is a cafe I often visit, and every time I come, it's a great place to spend time quietly, calmly, and chatting with friends over delicious snacks! The menu is diverse, and they also sell dishes like bungeobbang and tteokbokki, so it's not a bad idea to enjoy a light meal or a meal!”

“Went here last year and it was great! Expensive but worth it! Their service was very good and their tenderloin steak was amazing!! Will go back soon!
Also their bread and butter is very good, so soft and fluffy!!”
“My first time at this spot and I have been looking forward to it, and it was not disappointing at all. I was excited when I visited and I left satisfied.
My friend and I ordered the chicken Pad Thai and Thai Red Curry beef fried rice.
First the interior design is very appealing, and so beautiful. Well decorated and gives the spot a welcoming atmosphere to what they serve. (10/10)
For the Chicken Pad Thai (10/10), from the delicious burst of flavour in the first bite to the end, chicken was so tender. The right amount of spicy level, enjoyable for everyone.
For the Thai Red curry beef fried rice with coconut milk, which is drizzled on top and it adds more flavour to the dish. This added more flavours to the dish and the beef was so tender. My favourite (10/10).
Overall 10/10 and highly recommend must visit!! Thank you for the amazing service and delicious food.”
“Tried a few pastas there. Food is good. The best part is there sauce. Friendly services. I particularly like the Shrimp and mussel pasta in white sauce. Place is also quite nice.”
“Absolutely delicious food and really friendly employees. We enjoyed corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Probably the best we’ve ever eaten. We also bought latkes, matzo ball soup and a fantastic split pea soup. Well worth the drive.”
“Amazing food with great selection. Food always come fresh and tastes delicious!”
“It was delicious. But the lamb stew was a bit greasy.
I recommend sweet and sour pork. However, it is a bit too sweet and sour, but it has the texture of tingsu pork. A bit hard.
And Pamakchang is delicious”
“Always an enjoyable spot for our family to meet for lunch. Now, they have live music. Awesome!”
“The partitions between tables are a great touch, offering privacy. The menu is diverse, with photos that make choosing easier. Side dishes are served but not refilled easily ( served with attitude). Service needs improvement—servers were unfriendly and hard to find someone if you need anything. Overall, it was an interesting experience.”
“Joey is our go-to place for special occasions in our family. The food is always amazing no matter the location, the servings are generous, and the staff and servers are friendly without being intrusive. I really liked their high chair for little babies. It was the type that attaches to the table — it was perfect for our 10 month old!”
“Super cute space! Good service - the food is just average. The portion is reasonable -
The bulgogi was my favorite.
It was pretty empty when we went for lunch. The green tea is good and we had goyza- everything was fresh.”
“Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is great as well! Would definitely go back 👍”
“Food is always amazing!! The service is great, friendly it is like you are a part of the family with every visit! A MUST EXPERIENCE!!”
“What a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The menu had some great Korean options on it as well (I enjoyed the Bibimbap) and all items were made fresh to order. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Portions and prices were fair. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much.”
“It’s yummy, good service, clean and place is better than old place”
“The best middle eastern restaurant in toronto, and I’ve been to many. Excellent customer service.”
“They make the best chai tea! I ordered a dirty chai with an extra shot of espresso. The layers of spices and flavors were incredible. So delicious. I would definitely get this again.”
“If you’re looking for AYCE sushi, the prices are quite affordable here! The sashimi is fresh and there’s many rolls too choose from. There’s also Chinese food like dim sum and fried rice to order here too. All the food comes out very quickly after ordering. The prices for Monday to Thursday is cheaper than Friday to Sunday. Lunch is also cheaper than dinners. They also offer a-la-carte option if you are not feeling ayce.”
“Ordered Merguez Shakshuka, apple pie, and Belgium hot chocolate (L). Service was very nice, overall food is very good and portion sizes are great for the price. Atmosphere is nice, reservation recommend but the wait isn't horrible (10-15mins)”
“Thank you, Chef Piotr Przykaza and your wife for phenomenal dinner and Tristian for an amazing service 😊🍷 Very highly recommend it 👍”
“Great service and cozy atmosphere!!
Love how fast the food was prepared. Super juicy and crispy 🥰🥰 must try the “Golden fry”. Definitely will come back”
“I had lunch here with my family and i like the atmosphere, child friendly and good food.”
“Great service from both greeters and waitresses. The food is good and I recommend the grand platter as it is a must try. We also had pad Thai and green curry which are both very tasty.”
“Thrilled to discover our new neighbourhood has such a high-quality, homey Japanese restaurant! My sister and my Japanese brother-in-law were visiting from the States, where they live in a small Southern city without access to a wide variety of Japanese food. My BIL was in absolute heaven—we dined in one night and then two nights later ordered take-out so my sis and BIL could get a fix before leaving town.
We enjoyed a sake tasting, and my BIL was pleased with the sake options too. The owners and staff are warm and the vibe is laid back and local. There was a table celebrating a birthday, and the birthday “boy” (elderly man) bought a round of drinks for the whole restaurant and we sang to him.
Small dining room, not pretentious, with a fantastic variety of fresh fresh fresh sashimi as well as hot dishes (seared mackerel yum). I have celiac disease so couldn’t taste some of the dishes ordered, but high marks were given to everything. The staff was accommodating to my dietary restrictions and served GF tamari.
Reservation strongly recommended, at minimum call before you go so you know whether you need to ask for take-out!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten”
“First time here and found a right place for authentic Korean bbq with my favourite kimchi stew so yummy ! Will surely come back again even needed to queue... 😋😋😋”
“The quality of food is good and consistent and they are very reliable. It’s a hidden gem. We ordered 2 sushi platters, 3 dinner specials and 3 udons and the food was fresh and packed well and they got the order right.
So happy that they also offer a vegetarian sushi platter!
So glad we found our go to sushi place in the neighborhood!”
“Decent place to satiate my craving for sushi rolls and ramen. Ramen prices are around $13.99 to $15.99, and I take advantage of the sushi rolls daily special for $9.99.Portion size is good and they add lots of toppings, and the broth is tasty.”
““I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Mina, one of the staff members, was very kind and welcoming. She recommended the kunafa with vanilla tea, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination was perfect, and her friendly attitude made the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying this place!”
“This is my second time to dine here, and both times it was delicious, especially the signature Qingxin chicken, which is very authentic. Every dish is fried freshly, and there is a strong smell when it is served. The all-day dim sum is really rare in Toronto, and it is worth trying. Also, the service of the landlady is very good, so warm, as friendly as if you were back at home. , will definitely come again??”
“Great friendly service, was served food pretty fast. The best fried calamari I have had yet. The chicken Slovakia dinner was so yummy. I can’t wait to try some of the other dishes they have. I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys some real tasty Greek food.”
“Nice ambiance, good food, good service. If it wasn't windy that day we would have sat outside. The live musicians were great, but because of the layout, it was hard to hear the conversations across the table. But if you're going for good food and entertainment, this is the place!”
“My first time ordering turkish food. I ordered the safest my eyes could taste, the bulgur was phenomenal just fit to my taste, chicken is seasoned well. For a first timer asian, i commend the food— decent and balanced.”
“Amazing sushi. Holy mama. Fresh and many different kinds of rolls. 5/5”
“I got the salmon feast promotion today and it was tremendous. Beautiful presentation as well - a nice change from the typical white styrofoam. Would be ideal to bring to a party. The wasabi was also very fluffy and smooth (like icing).”
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Issai, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves ramen, udon, and rice dishes! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home.
The service was exceptionally friendly.”
“food trip mode and first time dine-in here at Sampaguita. staff were very friendly and nice ambiance. chef manny & owner were very accomodating & considerate to prepare another menu especially made for me, Kare Kare with Lechon Kawali on top. it was so delicious, very authentic filipino cuisine. 100% i'll be back here. thanks a lot to all staff who assisted me👍 keep up the good work👏👏👏”
“I ordered monthly food tiffin service and the food is quite authentic and delicious. It felt like home. Special mention to the curry, it was something I looked forward to :) thanks a lot for your food services!”
“This place serves amazing Izakaya style food and the vibes are cozy. I love the booths with the curtain. Great place for a date night or a place to catch up with friends while you have hot Japanese style tapas and ice cold Japanese beer.”
“Le Montmartre is an absolute gem! The food quality is outstanding, with perfectly prepared dishes, especially the fish—highly recommended. The prices are very reasonable given the exceptional standard, making it fantastic value for money.
The atmosphere is wonderfully cosy and unpretentious, with a peaceful setting that’s perfect for a relaxed meal. The owner is as kind-hearted as she is beautiful, adding a personal touch that makes the experience all the more special.
Without a doubt, this is one of the top-tier French restaurants in Toronto. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic French cuisine!”
“Very good experience! Had a fantastic waitress and food was excellent”
“Enjoyed an amazing dinner on the patio Will definitely be back”
“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉”
“I come here for a second time around. The food, Ambiance and staff are superb, this is highly recommended. Especially SACO our Server, he is so Funny and very approachable, always takes good care of his Table to make sure everything was fine.”
“Very delicious food and staff is very helpful! Big fan of the corn cheese here, out of all the places I’ve been to, they do it the best. Pasta was also very tasty and packed with flavour. The only thing is the restaurant is a little loud during peak hours so if you don’t enjoy that, make sure to come during off hours. Can’t wait to try more food here!”
“The food is terrific - unpretentious classics, obviously passed down through generations. Ask if Albert will be there when you make reservations; trust me, he makes the entire evening just that much better.”
“Best tasting pho I’ve tried. Bun cha was also very flavourful.”
“very nice place for rice rolls and congee. everything was very delicious and very authentic. I highly recommend this place”
“This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the North York area. It's pricey but they are generous with the portion. Ordered the hu tieu dac biet dry version - $17 and the Banh xeo - $16.50. Comes with a pitcher of iced tea. I would order these dishes again and again. One of the best I've had. Food came out within 15 minutes of ordering.”

“This is my Favour pizza location, I always order there because the customer service Mary is a very nice lady and excellent service, she also speaks a little mandarin, she always positive and made sure my order is complete before I check out. and I love the pizza and chicken wings, they are so fresh and delicious!”
“Had a great experience ordering pizzas for an event. The “Manager” was so pleasant and very accommodating. She took the time to listen to our needs and made her own suggestions. End result, we had fresh hot pizzas delivered on time. The toppings were plenty (unlike other places that skimp on toppings for large orders) and we had great feedback from those who ate the pizza. I would definitely go back to order from this location!”
“Thank You so much for an amazing evening November 09, 2024 at Old Avenue. The food is amazing, The Service is so attentive and quick. The food was nothing short of amazing, with flavors that transported me back to my childhood and the local delicacies I used to enjoy. The service was impressively fast, ensuring that we never had to wait long for our meals. A special mention goes to our waitress, Teneja, who was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout our visit. Her warm and attentive service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. I highly recommend Mumbaiker Restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in some finger licking delicious Indian (Mumbai) food and exceptional service.”

“The best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Everything on the menu so fresh and flavourful. The kitchen looks super clean and spotless. The restaurant has no weird smells like fried food smell that gets baked into the clothes in almost every restaurant in town.
They really know their food and it’s so worth the wait time.”
“AVOID. AT ALL COSTS. so here i am, on a monday morning, visiting the square one mall. after getting a starbucks coffee, i passed next to the MADO bakery who seemed inviting, deciding to get some pastries to try. out of the 30 tables here, only 2 are occupied by patrons at 11:00am. so i order three baklava, for 5$ a piece (really expensive but ok) and take a seat. After 30 seconds an employee ask me (politely) to leave the place, because "outside drinks are not allowed". on a monday morning, on an empty restaurant, i got kicked out for wanting to try their pastries. so now, there i am, eating on a public bench, 20$ worth of "luxury" pastries. worst service ever, overhyped but empty place. oh, and the baklava were bland, and tasteless. it looked like i was eating a handful of sand. but hey, at least my starbuck coffee was good. AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.”
“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.”
“I came here once of dinner and once for dim sum. I find that dinner service was very good. The lady serving us that evening was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; we ordered 8 dishes for the 5 of us to share, and we did not even make a dent hahaha... they portions are very big, and we took the rest of the food home. Highly recommend coming here for dinner :)
Dim sum was just madness - it was very busy on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm, with lots of people standing at the front door. I actually don't like loud and crowded space; we couldn't even speak at the table with just the 4 of us. My voice was completely gone after that. I do not recommend coming here for dim sum, not because the food wasn't good, it was just WAY too loud.
Parking: There are more parking spots up the ramp on the 2nd floor”
