“The food was absolutely amazing. My 3 daughters and I went there for dinner during Summerlicious 2022. We didn't have reaervations and the options were a 1 hour wait to sit inside or be seated right away on the patio. We chose the patio. We were served our drinks and appetizers within 1/2 hour but our main course came about an hour after but it was worth the wait. We will definitely return🍾🎉“

“When i booked online , it gave me the impression the place was busy but it was not the case. Only 3 tables were taken. The server was very friendly. The service was a bit slow i found. I asked the server to find me a good cocktail, he did but unfortunately it was not to my liking but the server said that they would cover it. We selected the fried chicken sliders to which he recommended to add an extra piece do we could have enough for sharing. It was delicious. The patio in the back is nice.“

In addition to restructuring their business to remain somewhat open but safe for themselves and their patrons, they’ve been a voice above the racial hate and injustice the world has been forced to finally confront. When things got too bad, both Becky and Ryan have been around to help ease the anxiety and despair to not only those in Toronto, but all the way down in the southwest USA (virtually of course). Even if they themselves are going through the same if not worse hell that we’re in. When we visited, there happened to be a live African live jazz performance surprisingly, the traditional Japanese-inspired interior paired beautifully with the music, creating a really special atmosphere.

There’s so much to take in just by walking around the space; every corner has something interesting to offer. The food was reasonably priced, yet well-executed and delicious.

“Learned about this place from Too Good To Go app and decided to come here for lunch with a friend. It is a little hard to spot since it is hidden in a small street. We heard this place just open a month ago, so might explain why the place wasn't too busy. Good for us, since we could sit by the cozy lounge area. I got the Avocado Toast, and my friend the Mediterranean Cauliflower. The Toast was super balanced and beautiful (and so much avocado!). The Cauliflower had a lot of components and was very filling. We both agreed the food was 10/10. if you coming for Cocktail, would recommend the Amethyst and the Carribean Sour!“

“Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

NIcely done and my husbands Toast 3 egg breakfast was excellent. The only concern is the noise level. It needs more wall covering to cut down on the noise level. “We visited Project Giggle Water this past Saturday for an after-party to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it was the perfect spot. From my very first communication with the team, they were incredibly accommodating—helping us secure a large reservation and blocking off a series of tables for our group on a busy Saturday night at 11 PM. They were super flexible, even allowing us to confirm final numbers and arrival time the day of our event.

The vibe at the bar is fantastic—fun, lively, and just the right energy for a celebration. The staff was amazing: friendly, attentive, and fast. The service was impressively quick, especially considering the beautifully crafted and complex drinks they serve. They even went the extra mile and offered to help us secure cupcakes for the event, which although we didn’t end up doing the offer of the extra touch was lovely.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to celebrate at Project Giggle Water and are already looking forward to our next visit!“

“It was one of those difficult days. I was hungry and did not feel like cooking. Had no idea what to eat or where to go for some takeout. As I walk across, I see some picnic tables and bright orange umbrellas... the people seemed happy and chill, so I was like hello Ladybug!! I was greeted with a pleasant smile and a candlelit atmosphere. I sat at the bar and chatted with the waiter. I ordered a rum & coke then asked about their menu. The hot dish of the night was a Peruvian chicken... boy o boy, it did not disappoint. It had just the right kick of flavour(I'm sure they can add some heat if you ask). I ate enough to fill my tummy and saved the rest for lunch the next day.

I would recommend this place for a chill night of catch-up or a date night.

“Found Almond Butterfly Bistro online after searching for a gluten free restaurant near princess of wales theatre. Attended for dinner and was so pleased with the service and the food! Although a little pricey, which is to be expected with gluten free foods, it was delicious and worth it! Only my 5 year old has celiac, but the rest of the family eats gluten and boasted about how delicious the food was and that they couldn’t even tell it was gluten free! Although they don’t have a kids menu, they have some kid friendly options like chicken fingers and Mac and cheese! Portions are a nice size though, so my youngest two were able to split the Mac n cheese and still have leftovers. Would recommend!“

This place is above a heavy metal bar...love the contrast. My bartender was the cutest! Wanna say Cherish(?) Was her name...and she was the EPITOME of who you want serving you in a tiki bar! “Our first time there on a Saturday night for dinner. The restaurant was empty & the music was blaring like a nightclub. We had to ask the server to lower the volume 3 times & it was still so loud that we could barely hear each other speak. We sat close to the back where the speakers are located.
The Server was enthusiastic & offered many suggestions.
The food we ordered was all good. We had the Peri Peri Chicken, Bharve Golgappe & Chicken Biryani.
