Vermicelli with pork and spring rolls is quite sizable. The port literally is bacon but deep fried. The spring rolls tasted fine but not too impressive

The ice coffee in Vietnamese style which is not self made style (the coffee dripping to the ice & concentration milk then mixed it) but it tastes fine

“I came here yesterday with my cousin, was a lovely quiet place. I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile, and it didn’t disappoint my expectations. Service was lovely, the guy who took our order was a quiet person; who seemed a little shy to be honest but he was sweet and made some small talk. We ordered a bańh mì beef sandwich was pretty decent for $6 and we only waited about 5-8 minutes. I’d definitely come back for its affordable price. Over all it’s a nice spot to go for affordable lunch! :)“

“Best pho I tried in the GTA. What makes a good pho is when the broth doesn’t make you thirsty and makes you hydrated. Good price too. Highly recommend this place as I tried many different pho in the gta and it always taste too salty or have that msg taste. You know it hydrates you when they don’t use msg for the flavour. As I’m not sure but definitely it’s not overly salty“

The casual ambience certainly brings me a sense of nostalgia, on top of the bowl of Bun Cha Ca featuring a light tomato-based broth with a thicker rice noodle that has more chew than traditional pho noodles. The standouts are the fried fish cakes, bouncy and fragrant with dill, adding a delightful texture and bite of umami. The beef in betel leaf, salmon filet, a generous portion of fresh dill, elephant ear stalk, tomatoes, water celery, cilantro, scallions and fried onions create a symphony of flavours and aromas. If that isn't enough, you can customize each bite with a side of bean sprouts, lettuce, banana blossom, chilis, cabbage and lime.

Their sticky rice dumplings are a layered experience, first the glutinous sticky rice, with a layer of mochi underneath, encompassing a fragrant filling of mung beans and minced pork seasoned with some black pepper.“

“The bakery owner's service attitude is very cheerful, cute, enthusiastic, and friendly. The bakery is a bit small, so when there are many customers, the store does not have enough room to wait, so customers have to stand out on the street, which is very inconvenient and especially in the winter, customers will get cold. The dishes, sticky rice, rolls, cakes of all kinds, fried spring rolls, etc., are quite delicious, but for the sticky rice dish, the store should cook it with coconut water and add sugar, it will definitely be more delicious. “I randomly came across this hidden gem, and wow—the food was amazing! Honestly, it’s way better than most Vietnamese spots I’ve tried. Super underrated, and you’ve got to check it out.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place really deserved one.

The server was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu!“

“The place is clean and very nice and inviting. And while it may not be the best Thai out there but it is tasty and there are lots of healthy options which I found to be a plus. I also liked that there was a large selection and that you can tailor the components of your entree easily. This is great because it means more choices. I found the price to be a bit higher than I would like (given the size of the entree) but it's not extremely inflated. I think it would be great if they had some good BOGO sales or special offers so that people in the area can try it out without much risk and maybe make it one of their regular stops.“

“Good food and great portions! We ordered our food and waited a bit for our dishes, about 15-20 minutes long for everything. It wasn’t very busy but there was only one waitress on the floor, so the service was okay. We ordered the Pad Thai, the Bun Bo Hue, a Tom Yum noodle soup, and a rice dish. We also got free spring rolls after ordering over $50 I believe, which were really good! Everything was pretty good excluding the Pad Thai, which tasted exceptionally sweet and the noodles were very sticky/clumped together. The Tom Yum was also pretty sweet, and had no hint of spice whatsoever. The Bun Bo Hue was the best dish alongside the rice one. Overall, the portions are really good and the food was good as well. Not sure if I’d come back though, but a one-time experience is not bad!“

“I lived in Toronto for 5 years, ate at many places including Vietnamese and Thai restaurants. This place IS.... THE.... BEST... food around. Since moving to Windsor Essex Area, I stop at this place ever time we go North through Toronto. The prices are always fair, and the family run atmosphere is a welcoming touch. “Such a hidden gem. I know they have been in business for so many years, but was recommended this from SIL who was recommended it from someone in my son’s vball club.

So you know if word of mouth gets around, it’s gotta be that good.

Most of us got the 3 protein plate of your choice. At $18 that’s a great deal. First off, the plate is ginormous. I don’t think I’ve had a plate of viet food that big.

The second thing is that you can’t really get grilled pork and chicken on the same plate anywhere else anymore. Or it’s very few places, so to be able to have that here, just made my day.

Third, they also give you rice paper on top of my vermicelli bowl because of the portion size, you can’t have wraps ro go with it.

Service was on point. Very attentive and not sure if it was because we had a larger party or that it was a bit quieter, but they got everything right

The place is a no frills viet restaurant. Nothing fancy but the food can speak for itself.

Parking is very tough in this plaza as it seems like there are so many places to go to with lot enough spots. But my secret is going to the second floor parking beside the Chinese restaurant. There’s a ramp that goes up and usually it’s pretty quiet up there.

“we ordered to take out and when came to the bill, they automatically add tip into the bill without us knowing, then when we tap machine, they asked for another tip?? we were in rush that time so we didn't check the bill probably until got home . we tip 2 times for 1 take out order?? doesn't make sense! we ordered 3 banh cuon dac biet 16$ x 3 + 2 bun ca 17$ x 2 , supposed to be 92.66 (after tax) but they add 10% tip without asking“

“I have been coming to Pho Mine since it opened. I was happy with the food from day one, and so I went back to explore their menu. This place is REALLY good. Aside from their very good Pho, I particularly like their curried brisket (sooo good!) and their lemongrass dishes. I keep returning not only for the food, but also because of the excellent staff, who always make me feel welcomed and appreciated. In fact, because of feeling very welcomed at Pho Mine, I visit at least once or twice per week - sometimes more. I would highly recommend Pho Mine to anyone in the Yonge and Sheppard area who is looking for Asian-fusion dishes. Also, just fyi, I've been living at Yonge and Sheppard for over 20 years. I've seen many places come and go, but I sincerely hope Pho Mine stays as long as possible, because I appreciate having a very good 'go-to' restaurant in my local area. Two thumbs up! 5 stars! I went to this hidden spot in North York on Jane St and Keel and I tired authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. This place is hidden from road but food is very good. I ordered 1 roasted chicken Banh Mi which was loaded with fresh carrots, fresh cucumbers, lots of roasted chicken. I also ordered Half fried chicken with rice. Let me tell you that food was good, clean and very cheap. Banh Mi was for $4.00 cash and Fried Chicken was for $10.00 and it was loaded. This place is CASH ONLY and have no debit machine on site. However service is very quick and food is very good.“
