“We went Thursday night for half price wings. Wings were very good. Service very good as well. We started at a booth by the window and being very cold outside the draft came through the wall. We asked to move to another booth on the inside of the restaurant. Temperature was better but we still felt the restaurant temperature was cool. Otherwise very good“

“I was there with a friend to celebrate a birthday. The fish and chips were delicious, and the portions were great. The fish wasn't too thick with batter. It was the best fish and chips I ever had. The coleslaw was good too. I loved the Arnold Palmer liquor drink...delicious!! The complimentary birthday dessert was good and bad. The banana ice cream was very tasty, but the cookies were quite hard. The cookies were very difficult to break apart. That's my only complaint.“

“I visited with my family on a Saturday, and even though it was very busy, the staff were incredibly friendly and handled the rush effortlessly. Our server, Emily, who was also the bartender, stood out with her politeness and attentiveness. I ordered a steak, and she suggested adding the peppercorn sauce—it was an excellent recommendation that really elevated the dish.

Before leaving, I had the chance to speak with Jillian, one of the managers, to share our compliments about the great service. She was genuinely warm and welcoming, even inviting us to return.

Service was great and the description was legit that this place is home style. 15 bones for sgetti and meatballs was ok considering there was a good meat to noodle/sauce ratio. My kid is fussy so I wasn’t sure how this would go over but he loved it. Him and his bro rated it at 4.5 stars. I would have given this a perfect score on atmosphere but parking at the strip mall was so so and egress was little dicey. Had to squeal the tires to avoid getting T boned.“

“Had brunch at Symposium today. The food was excellent. Had the Belgian waffles and they were prepared beautifully. Celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday and the service was friendly and efficient. Shailyn provided exceptional customer service and always great to see the Manager Lori there.“

“Second edit - I went back to this location to place a take-out order on Friday. The young lady that served us was very sweet. Our order was correct, excellent portions, I got gravy! I also ordered pie again and the slices were the size I expected them to be. The food was hot and very tasty. Thank you Swiss Chalet for reaching out in the first place and for making a bad experience into a good one. I adjusted my star rating to reflect that. See you next time. :)

EDIT - Although my initial review was not the best, and I was disappointed at the time, the owner reached out to me, with a way to contact them directly and, I feel, went above and beyond to rectify the oversights. I was very impressed with their customer service and understanding. THANK YOU!! We'll see you again very soon.

Disappointed with my take out order. ☹️
I ordered through the app. My husband got a half chicken dinner which he said was fine. I, on the other hand, had a NOT fine meal. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich and got 2 slices of bread and some chicken. No gravy AT ALL! So basically what I got was a dry chicken sandwich. Such a sad offering.
I also ordered coconut cream pie for dessert and what I got was a very thin sliver. Certainly not worth the $5+ spent for a tiny piece of pie. It felt like the whole thing was money wasted.“

“I visited Hamdi Restaurant with my friends, but unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. We ordered a 3-person platter with 2 rice and 1 spaghetti, but they served mostly spaghetti and very little rice. The food itself tasted good, but we were expecting more rice based on what we ordered. When I asked about it, they told me it would be an extra $6 for more rice, which was frustrating since we thought it was already included. It felt a bit misleading, and the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations.“

“Had a lovely brunch with my dad and 2 children this morning and was served by a lovely young woman named Patricia. I believe she mentioned she was new to the restaurant but if she hadn't have mentioned that, we never would have known. Patricia was great. Knowledgeable with the menu , timing was perfect and just a joy to have serve us! I am also a server and I know a good server when I see one. My children rarely finish what they order when we're out but today they both cleaned their plates AND finished mine :) delicious food, great service. “Amazing food!! We ordered a pork schnitzel and a chicken schnitzel dinner. The portions were big, the potatoes were well seasoned and the schnitzels were delicious and crispy even though we ordered for take out. I read some comments saying they’re rude, but my experience was completely different. They were really nice!

Also, as someone that gets really anxious over ordering by call, this time it was a breeze. In last than a minute my order was taken and I got the time to pick it up. Really easy! I was amazed!“

“Come here regularly and my favourite apps are the Sweet Chili Chicken Bites and Spinach & Artichoke dip. But I LOVE the California Spring salad, the candied pecans are amazing and all the flavours go so well together. Also tried the Crispy Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, it was crunchy and very saucy! The pickles and cabbage added a lot of flavour.“
