The only minor criticism I have is that sometimes the staff have a bit of a language barrier so it can be hard to ask questions about ingredients or substitutions. “Space Coffee is a cozy cafe with lovely drinks and friendly staff. I ordered the Australian iced coffee which comes with a scoop of icecream and hazelnuts. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet. The owner(?) is very nice as well. During my stay, I noticed that she frequently had conversation with customers (we had a small conversation too). However, she isn't neglectful or distracted, she still tends to her customers while being friendly. Will be back to try the other menu items :)“

“An actual hidden gem worthy of an afternoon date. A chocolate factory in the heart of Leslieville serves some of the best hot chocolate in the city (with a Mayan option AND an incredible homemade marshmallow on top) and sells incredible artisanal chocolates from around the world.

As a bonus, they sell the best housewarming gift for a winter get-together: a tin of house hot chocolate.“

“In Toronto, most coffee shops and roasters offer the same fare, and nothing stands out. But Ethica goes above and beyond in ways that make it one of my favorites. Their specialty drinks are exceptional. The decor and thoughtful seating arrangements create a welcoming space. They stock 10% cream and won't judge you for using it (unlike many third-wave shops in town that act like you've committed a coffee crime). The beans are delicious, and the graphic design and packaging are delightful. Love this place.“

Had an amazing time visiting Buno Coffee today along the trendy and happening St. Clair Avenue West.

This gem of a coffee place is serving up some of the best coffee in the City!

A great place to just come on by, take a seat, have some great conversations and enjoy that delicious cup of Coffee to either get your day started or just winding down after a busy day at work.

I had the Spanish Coffee and the Hojicha Latte and they were both delicious and out of this world spectacular.

I really enjoyed my little chat with the barista as well!

“I’ve been coming to Zav’s for the last two or three years, and it’s easily one of my favourite places to study, go on a casual date, or just catch up with a friend. The coffee, lattes, teas, and snacks are all great, but what really makes this place special is Zav himself. He’s always personable, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I’ve even seen him go out of his way to open the door for moms with strollers when he can.

Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink or a snack, and an even better one to get some work done.

P.S. The art on the walls is beautiful and really adds to the atmosphere.“

“The absolute best coffee shop in Toronto’s South Core / Harbourfront. The iced oat matcha latte w/ strawberry is incredibly good. The staff are amazing and friendly. The atmosphere is chill and stylish. Oh and it’s dog friendly. 🍓🍵🐶“

“Marsala chai!!! I can't get enough!!! Perfect blend of cardamom, cloves, and other spices with light touch of sweetness. Chef's kiss. Cardamom is not over powering.
Downside, one size only. Hoping they would expand their cup sizes for their teas.“

“Popped in before a picnic and I’m glad I did! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an array of pastries at a cafe before nor had equally good coffee to match!

I ended up getting an iced latte and a Nanaimo bar. The latte was smooth and not bitter at all. The Nanaimo bar was very rich and sweet, so if you’re looking for something less sweet this may not be for you.

The line moved quickly and service was great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but with the park across the street not many seats were occupied.“

“Visited Le Bleu Coffee and really enjoyed the experience. I had an Americano and my partner had a flat white both were excellent and well-balanced. The coffee was smooth and clearly well made. We also tried the croissant which was flaky, buttery, and fresh.

The café itself has a beautiful cozy atmosphere with vintage touches like the old typewriter and a wall decorated with open books. It’s a lovely spot to relax with a good cup of coffee. Would definitely come back.“

“I bought a bike from Eric (Pedaal co-owner) when he worked at Curbside Cycle way back in like 2016 or 2017. He was kind, knowledgeable, sharp, and gentle (ie no upselling) and my husband and I felt like we could be in his company all day. The bike he sold us has now lasted us a decade and we have been so thrilled and delighted that after 20 years at Curbside Eric broke out on his own to build Pedaal which we consider the number one cargo bike store .... general bike store !! ... in the city. Long hours, friendly service, pumping up your tires just to help you out and bringing you a latte while they do it?? I like Curbside but I LOVE Pedaal ...“

“Hailed Coffee is honestly one of my favourite cafés in the city. The shop is on the smaller side and can get packed during busy hours, but the quality of everything they serve makes it absolutely worth it.

Their coffee and lattes are amazing — super smooth, rich, and consistently well-made. The latte art is always on point too (like the one in my photo). They also have a great seasonal drink menu, and the strawberry matcha is surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Definitely a must-try.

The pastries are incredible. Their croissants, kouign amann, and raspberry swirls are fresh, flaky, and way better than what you’d expect from most coffee shops. They also carry ma’moul, chocolate bites, and desserts that you don’t often see elsewhere — everything displayed neatly in the glass cases and jars. You can tell they put a lot of love into the baking.

I also love that they stock brewing gear and beans from different roasters — Hario, Chemex, 49th Parallel, De Mello, and more — all displayed in a cozy corner of the shop. Even though the space is small, they make great use of it, and there’s a bit of outdoor seating which is nice for warmer days.

Overall, if you’re in the area, this is one of the best spots for high-quality coffee and pastries. Just expect it to get busy because everyone knows how good it is. Totally worth the stop every time.“

“Such a cozy and cute coffee shop! One of the best flat whites I’ve had in Toronto and I loved the cranberry oat cookie! It’s a great place to stop when you’re out for a walk!

“A nice cozy neighbourhood cafe - clean and updated interiors, good coffee and nice selection of pastries and desert.
There’s an honest effort to provide good service and maintain the space for a great experience for customers. I would say it is the best cafe in the long branch neighbourhood. And would be wonderful to see more seating space in the summer!“

The shop is small, but there is some seating in the back. When I went, it was also pretty busy and they seemed to be having a small rush, but it was a reasonable wait time.“
