“First stop in town for lunch while visiting the area. It wasn't busy so I ordered the lunch special general tso chicken that came with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. Food didn't take long to eat. Now it does taste slightly different from the American version , it isn't as saucy or super tender but other than that it did the job to satisfy my hunger.“

“Phoenix is hands down my favorite Hakka/Fusion restaurant. The food is consistently delicious, but the real star of the menu is their chilli chicken or chilli fish. Both have just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and the service is always friendly and efficient. While they only offer takeout, Phoenix never disappoints. Highly recommend to anyone craving great Hakka cuisine!“

We live nearby so picked it up and paid cash as you get a free menu item over a certain amount if you do this. “Hand slaughtered halal, and can't beat the 6.65$ price for a loaded small noodle! I got non-spicy noodle with ginger chicken and sweet n sour chicken. LOTS of spicy chicken, spicy rice, and spicy noodle options.

“Have been ordering from here for the past 45 years. Food has been consistently the same old school North American style Chinese food. Special fried rice has a nice Smokey flavor to it complimenting anything. Hot and Sour soup is actually both in a large portion. Korean shrimp is one on my favorites large shrimp wrapped in tasty pork with a rich oyster sauce. Chow mein is always fresh complimenting the meal.“

“Food is very cheap for the amount you get. You pay $12 for a meal which could be enough for 2 people. Food is very good and comes out quickly and still very hot. Only reason why I give this 5 stars is because they were a couple of items I personally didn’t like. But that’s just based on preference. The atmosphere is very cosy but nothing mind blowing. And the service is very good but at times it was hard to understand the employees. But again that’s not their fault and simply a language barrier. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area.“
