“Outstanding dinner at Scaddabush! The Chicken Parmesan was phenomenal (9.5/10) - I'm not usually a pasta person, but this completely won me over. Paired perfectly with the Moscato Frizzante, which was sweet but balanced. The Naked Mozzarella with fig jam is always incredible - a must-try starter. Don't miss the Pistachio & Cream Martini before they discontinue it January 4th (save it for dessert!). Service was efficient and accommodating - our server let us taste wines and refreshed my drink when requested. The rustic Italian vibe is beautiful, though it gets lively and loud during dinner service. Highly recommend!“

“The Tom Yum was wayyyy too sour, like vinegar sour. I had been to so many Thai restaurants, and tom yum is a must order for me. I don’t understand why the soup was that sour. Kinda disappointed.

But other food I ordered were very good especially the curry.

I might give it a try again in the future.“

“Great store for everyone, vegetarian/vegan food is delicious for all! There is a great labelling system where colours indicate ingredients, yellow for egg, white for dairy, green for vegan.

Prices are good, lots of variety, and there are imported products that can't be found anywhere else. The store owner is a nice lady too.“

“What a great bakery!! Their products are fresh and delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. Rosemary goes out of her way to make sure your order is correct. She answers all customers with kindness and patience. She will ask to make sure your order is correct - especially with a strudel order. You are lucky to have her as an employee.“

“We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!“

“I saw some comments saying it is the best pizza in Toronto, so I wanna try it out. And it turns out it is true! I have ordered a Hawaiian pizza, there are loads of toppings on pizzas, thick cheeses, the bread is not dry, and the crust is with cheese on it. I definitely will recommend this restaurant to anyone who love pizza.

“We went for dinner here after having marked it for some time. Glad everything is vegetarian, but the staff communication is a bit challenging to figure out which dishes are vegan. Easy solution is to clearly mark them. Hope management is reading. The food is very good. We went for dinner and hoping dim sum was available as well. Perhaps next time. The vegan stuffed tofu, although limited quantity was amazing. The stuffed beans and tofu fried perfectly. The vegan eggplant was OK. The fiber pieces didn’t go well. The entire dish needed some more spice. Vegan Sesame Chik’n was perfect. Wish we could just keep eating it. Vegan Five kinds of Rice, Fried Rice is something we have never had and was a top dish. Healthy with a bit of oil. Vegan Fried Rice Noodle with Mock Beef (dried style) was OK. Bit greasy, less spicy but good. Service was good. The interior bit dated and bit cramped.“

“This is my neighborhood gem. They are always busy. Food is very good. I love their Ice Vietnamese coffee and fresh shrimp rolls.

Parking is very tight. Literally the parking spots are smaller than average.

Their service is on par wjth most restaurants. Can they be busy. Absolutely. I wish they remove the tables for take out.

Use the tablet to add yourself to wait list if they are busy. Be patient with others while waiting

Typical family restaurant. Eat and go. Don’t hang around for a long talk. Be considerate and let others enjoy and share the amazing taste of their food

Highly recommended. Nothing can be done to improve the atmosphere unless they undergo major renovation.

Don’t forget to pick up some boa/Bun/sandwich to go. It’s delicious too“

“I recently organized a birthday party for my dad at Avenue Restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Brandon was incredibly efficient and helpful throughout the planning process, making the organization seamless. On the day of the event, everything ran smoothly, thanks to the attentive staff. The food was outstanding—everyone raved about it! The service was exceptional, with the team going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. “My husband and I came on a Sunday, and this little spot really impressed us. The place is tiny with only a few dine-in seats and a small menu (including some weekend-only items), but everything we tried was delicious. We had the laksa and nasi lemak with chicken curry — both were incredibly flavourful. The laksa came piping hot and stayed hot even 20 minutes later. The broth was rich. The nasi lemak was just as good: you could taste the coconut in the rice, the anchovies were nicely marinated, and the chicken was packed with flavour. No fancy plating, just genuinely great food, and very reasonably priced for the quality.

We also tried a few desserts — pulut panggang, kuih talam, and kuih serimuka — and they were all excellent and definitely worth ordering.

While we were there, we noticed regulars coming in for takeout or even just to pick up desserts, which really says a lot about the place.

The service was another pleasant surprise. The gentleman at the cashier greeted everyone with a smile and thanked each customer as they left. Even though it’s mainly a takeout spot, he brought our food to the table, which I didn’t expect. When I dropped my chopsticks, he noticed right away and prepared a new pair before I even got up to ask.

“Been to Onnuri on multiple occasions and each visit has been great! Service is excellent on most occasions and at times when it’s busy it can be a bit slow.

Korean Fried Chicken is crispy, juicy and made to order! My usual order is their 5pc chicken with a pint of Asahi. Other items from their menu which are just as good is their Soon Tofu and Bibimbap!

Overall, this is one of my favourite Korean spots to dine at and they have all the standard Korean dishes available on their menu as well. The taste is authentic and has a good kick of spice! Location can accommodate larger parties but always good to call ahead!“

“This is a really good place to satisfy dumpling cravings! After finding out there’s a place called dumpling restaurant, my friend and I had to go and we didn’t hold back. We ordered: assorted dumplings, fried dumplings, soup dumplings, kimchi rice, and the braised beef pancake. All so delicious. The dumplings are so flavourful, and are amazing with either soy sauce or soy sauce mixed with a little bit of vinegar. The pricing for dumplings is also very good for the portion, and we left with a whole container full to air fry later (was also amazing). We were completely satisfied and will definitely be coming back again soon to try more!“
