There's a small sitting area in the back, and the line can end up filling the seating area. If you want to sit and chill, I'd go to another red hook location. All of the other ones have more seating. It's in a very old mostly abandoned industrial part of the city along the Detroit River, made better by nice new development nearby, adjoining a portion of the beautiful Detroit River Walk, and on a strip near the Atwater Grill with other businesses. Very nostalgic looking business whose interior including bathrooms have certainly seen better days, but made comfortable by the nice wait staff and VERY HOSPITABLE owner who is most always available and a pleasure to chat with. “Ordered from this establishment for a nonprofit organization event we were holding. The food was delicious! The pancakes were so soft and melted in my mouth. The eggs were light and fluffy. “First timer here! As part of the Detroit/Grosse Point tour, we stopped here for a late lunch. First, there was parking in the back which was great! Then we were seated immediately, five adults and two kids. They have kids menus and crayons available which was great. Coke products and kids hot dogs came out within a matter of moments, all satisfying. We got a regular coney, a coney special, a loose burger, a hani, baby Greek salads, and lots of fries. All very fast, hot, and solid meals. Being from the cincy area, I was concerned about the chili but turns out you can have two kinds in the world. This chili reminds me more of Tex max, like steak and shake, certainly bring the Tums style. But delish! Good hotdog with a soft bun and endless napkins so you can dig right in. Having tried all three coney styles, I'd recommend the coney special so you get the best of both worlds. Separate just isn't as good. Big surprise winner for me was the baby greek. It was fresh, big, and full of things. Fries were not great which was a bit of a let down but all in all, I would be back. As we were paying, our waitress asked if we had the membership card to which we didn't. We signed up and are excited to keep earning points. Great work Detroit!“

Fish sandwiches, gyros, burgers, hot dogs (Coney, plain, etc.), melts. A fairly substantial breakfast section and salads & soups round it out well.I went with the Classic burger & fries. The burger is huge & the amount of fries is substantial. I ordered the burger medium but it came medium-well. It wasn't juicy like it should've been but was flavorful still.Next time I'll sit at the counter (missed that on the way in). There's a drive-thru in case you want to "grab and go", too.An FYI: if you pay by plastic, you will pay the credit card charge. “What a great carryout place. This was our 1st time ordering from here. We ordered the rueban sandwich, a pint of the chicken and orzo soup, the scallops and risotto, and the Spanish rice and black bean burrito. The sandwich was great, and for a carryout I was impressed it was not soggy, and was still crispy when I received it. The homemade dressing (1000 island) was delicious. I did not love the black bean and corn slaw that was on the side. It did not go together. The soup broth was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. My coworker said the scallops were cooked perfectly, the risotto was okay it was slightly gummy but the flavor was amazing and she enjoyed it. The burrito was good as well and a great portion my co worker ate half for dinner Saturday and the ate the rest for dinner Sunday. We also ordered 2 of the raspberry lemon tarts and I'll tell you I would have eaten that over and over again! So, freah and delicious. When I called to place the order the woman who answered was very kind and was knowledgeable to answer all questions. We asked that the order be picked up at a specific time and it was ready and effortless to pick up. The space appeared clean, and organized. We will definitely order from here again. “It's not often I leave a 5/5 review. Although I haven't tried everything on the menu, I had the Slam Dunk sandwich, and it surely didn't disappoint. The roast beef was tender and extremely juicy, not too fatty, and the sautéed onions and havarti cheese added just enough flavor, but not too much to overpower the roast beef and roasted hogie bun. It's not those baked ribs like Famous Dave's or smoked like Billy Sims and most places! It almost give u a Nicola's taste maybe if I had to compare. The BBQ sauce for me is GREAT. It's almost identical to my family's recipe! It's not thick and it's like they know it's good because you don't get much lol Bad: there's not much sauce on the meat itself so you're gonna almost always want to order extra sauce. This bread? “I really love the classic aesthetic of Bronze Door! They have a nice cocktail menu with unique ingredients. I ordered the grey goose shrimp and penne which was a nice portion and very flavorful. My friend ordered the stroganoff and honestly we both felt hers seemed more like an appetizer portion and definitely looked like it should have had some more carrots and spaetzle. Our server was very friendly and gave suggestions for the menu. My only issue was when we had cashed out and were getting ready to leave, she came over and said she didn’t charge my card the full amount and didn’t give much explanation, just said I owed $16 more dollars.
