“I recently visited Wuhan Noodles 1950 and had a great dining experience. The Hot Dry Noodles (Re Gan Mian) may not taste exactly the same as the authentic version in Wuhan, but they are still very flavorful, rich, and satisfying. The portion size is generous, making it a filling meal.

I also tried the Beef and Radish Rice Noodles, which came with a large amount of tender beef and a hearty serving of noodles. The broth was rich and comforting, and the overall portion was excellent value for money.

One of the highlights was their chili oil. It was incredibly fragrant, packed with flavor, and blended perfectly with the noodles. It added just the right amount of heat and depth to the dishes.

Overall, the food was delicious, portions were generous, and the flavors were bold and authentic-inspired. I will definitely be coming back again and would happily recommend this restaurant to my friends and anyone looking for a satisfying Wuhan-style noodle experience in North York.“

“My son had a minor hand surgery recently, and to cheer him up and spend some quality time together, I decided to take him to this restaurant. It did not disappoint!

From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. I’m a stickler for great service, and this restaurant truly knows how to make the entire dining experience special.

Since I was there with my 8-year-old son, our server kindly offered to make him a mocktail that still came with the dramatic dry ice fog effect. That was such a highlight for him, and the drink itself was absolutely delicious.

We ordered the cheese balls, pani puri, butter chicken, aloo gobi, and garlic naan. Every single dish was outstanding—so much so that my son gave the meal an 11/10!

For dessert, we had the gulab jamun, which was presented tableside. It was another fun experience that made the evening even more memorable for my son.

This restaurant checked every box: incredible service, amazing food, a fantastic atmosphere, and an overall dining experience that exceeded our expectations.

“I'm a regular at yang's. Ever since it was on Woodbine I've been a huge fan of their hand-pulled noodles and boneless chicken. The service is unbelievable Sherry and Chloe always remember me when I come in and even before I get there and place my order they know exactly who they are serving. “I absolutely love the atmosphere. You walk into this beautiful hallway. There's lovely traditional music playing. The restaurants. Huge! It's Chinese hot pot, basically Chinese fondue. Very different than the French fondue you might be familiar with.

I had the chicken base. My friend had the tomato base and my other friend had the mushroom base so lots of options. There's all kinds of fresh items that you select to put in the hot pot. Fresh meat and fish come directly to your table to put into the hot pot base. It's very authentic. They do speak English if you don't speak Mandarin, which I do not.
