“This was our 2nd visit for lunch. We had chicken pad Thai and Bun Bo Hue today (attached pics) which were as delicious as the Pho combo and Chicken white meat soup that we had a two weeks ago. Flavourful soup, tender meat, reasonable prices for large portion sizes, nice ambience, friendly staff and lots of parking in large plaza. This place has become one of our favourite lunch spots!

But it’s the soups that truly shine. The Phò Suon Bò Xí Quách was rich and hearty, with fall-off-the-bone beef ribs in a broth so flavourful it could stand on its own. The Phò Nąm offered comforting simplicity, while the Phò Tái Nąm combined rare tender beef with well-done flank for the perfect mix of textures in every spoonful.

“I was recommended to try this place specifically for their chicken wings by a complete stranger. Normally I don't take just anyones suggestion for new (to me) food places to check out, but I trusted this person, and am so glad that I did, as I discovered not only some of the very best (and unique) chicken wings I've had in the entire city/GTA, but everything else we ordered was so incredibly flavour-packed and fresh- an instant favourite and new go-to, even if it's a little bit out of our way; definitely worth the trek. The things feature a completely unique and new-to-me flavour, but I loved them so incredibly much. The fine rice vermicelli with grilled beef, chicken, and pork, was INCREDIBLE, each bite so packed with flavour and varying textures- I love the inclusion of thin apple slices, I've not yet seen that. Absolutely delicious. And the pho, incredible as well, as was the mango shake. The place is very clean and cozy, nicely decorated, and staff very friendly and attentive. Second time here, tried the Satay Pho and really enjoyed it 9/10! I've also improved my previous 3/5 atmosphere rating to 5/5 as the inside temperature was perfect this time!

The vermicelli with grilled pork was a 10/10 and the pho with beef balls was a 8.5/10. Pho was a bit pricey compared to other spots, and I gave 3/5 for atmosphere because it was a bit too warm in the restaurant. Maybe turn down the heat a bit lol. Will be back to try some more stuff!“

“Overall very good. Clean place, cozy decor (lots of plants, real and fake), welcoming staff, interesting menu with different items than other restaurants. The taste overall was good. I ordered chicken pho and added vegetables. It costs more but the end result is a much more balanced meal. Though I must say the size large came with a lot of noodles and not enough chicken. But I was happy that a large was actually quite large! Thank you! I also really like that they gave me a chilli pepper, I always prefer it. I also ordered to-go a box of fried squid cakes, they were really good, but smaller than I expected, so I felt they were very expensive for what I got. The dipping sauce that came with it was not my cup of tea, I’m not a fan of the shrimp paste flavour. The table top looks like it needs a better cleaning, if you look at it from an angle it looks dirty or oily. Otherwise overall I would say not a bad restaurant.“

“Some of the best Pho in the city! So happy the pandemic didn’t impact their recipe. Perfect dark brown, clear and fragrant broth containing tender rare beef, noodles and I add veggies. This was what I’d been craving during lockdown. As usual Viet Thai Kitchen didn’t disappoint! 10/10 recommended!“

“A cozy small mama papa Pho place located in the plaza. There are about 6 booths with another 6 tables. Enough space and does the job to fill your tummy.

I ordered the House Special Pho (medium), the broth is clean with subtle flavour which I appreciate. Pipping hot broth, the bean sprouts was has a nice crunch, good amount of leaves and lime slice.

The amount of meat here is generous and substantial that even medium was filling. Raw beef was tender and nice to bit on. I been to other pho places, once the raw beef gets cooked, it's so hard to chew and lack texture. Not here, first time I felt the raw beef has a nice bite to it.

I really enjoyed the beef brisket, good cut and thickness, good long slices of brisket with good amount. Luv the beef tripe here as well as it's has a good cut and decent size, unlike other cut the tripe so thin you can hardly see or taste the tripe.

ONLY drawback here is the lack of beef tendon in a House Special. I asked the server, she said there is NO beef tendon in House Special but she said if I requested it, they will provide some with no extra charge. Many other Pho places will provide beef tendon as part of their House Special, only here at Pho Mi 88 that you have requested. Anyhow, I will make sure to ask for beef tendon at no extra charge next time I come back.

The noods here are the thinner slices, which I personally prefer thicker noodles, but that's just my own preference.

Otherwise, it's a good place for comfort food. Good substantial amount of noods, meat and pricing. I told the staff that I rather pay more for value and good amount of meat here than some other places that maybe cheaper but cheap out on meat.

At $15.49 CDN + tax for a medium beef pho or $17.49 CDN + tax for beef pho is fair and reasonable.

“I’m a huge fan of Vietnamese food and have been eating it all over the GTA and beyond—Scarborough, downtown Toronto, Mississauga, Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo—since the 80s. Pho Quinn instantly shot into my top three after just one visit.

The menu is full of the street-food classics: pho, vermicelli bowls, rice plates. It had been a while since I’d had Viet, so I stuck to the basics. Started with rice paper spring rolls (the fresh ones). Thick, simple, generous shrimp, and a peanut sauce that was exactly right. Then shrimp paste on sugar cane—and you could actually taste fresh shrimp. Big thumbs up.

For the main, I went with a vermicelli bowl: grilled chicken, deep-fried spring roll, the usual mix of noodles, carrots, cucumber, greens, and Thai basil. The chicken had a nice hint of lemongrass, just enough to stand out. The spring roll was decent, even if I wasn’t totally sure what was inside.

The space looks better than your typical no-frills Vietnamese spot. Dark wood, cozy booths, still casual, but a level up. Service was exactly what I expect from a solid Viet restaurant: friendly, attentive, no hovering.

This was my first Vietnamese outing in a while, and Pho Quinn hit that sweet spot: good prices, clean and comfortable, and a menu that feels fresh without trying too hard. There’s a cheaper spot closer to me, but it looks a little… questionable. Here, dinner for two with tip was around $50—even with me over-ordering appetizers and taking some home. In today’s world, that’s a steal. And honestly, I’d have paid double at many Chinese restaurants for food nowhere near this good.

Vietnamese places just know how to deliver quality—and Pho Quinn is proof. I will be coming back for the Pho which for me is always the test of a Vietnamese restauant.“

“Tiny restaurant. Always full but the tables turn over relatively quickly. Wonderful silky smooth Pho. Very nice Bun. And my favourite Laska Pho. Try the hot Vietnamese coffee with milk.“

“Amazing food, fast service and had good vibes but it was kind of weird hearing staffs swear. The restaurant is fairly small and quiet since I visited early in the morning and staffs were chatting and swearing loudly. Probably wouldn't bring kids here, but overall really enjoyed my meal.

We got the big platter and mango salad, was too much for 2 people. Also an egg coffee. Food was good, chao tom was okay but everything else was excellent, especially good seasonings on the meat. Portion also didn't disappoint.

The only one problem is if you get the older gentleman as the cashier, he will get your order wrong if you add any customization to your order; no mattet if he says okie or got it. We arrived before they opened, but by chance we met one of the chefs/staff at the Asian grocer right beside. The lady even opened early for us to make us Bahn Mis! It was absolutely delicious, and so kind of her to do. We took our meal to go, but I enjoyed the Quan Yin alter, and all the handmade decorations.
