“This was our 2nd visit for lunch. We had chicken pad Thai and Bun Bo Hue today (attached pics) which were as delicious as the Pho combo and Chicken white meat soup that we had a two weeks ago. Flavourful soup, tender meat, reasonable prices for large portion sizes, nice ambience, friendly staff and lots of parking in large plaza. This place has become one of our favourite lunch spots!

Parking: Restaurant is an end unit in a large plaza with lots of free parking. Located behind Imagine cinemas.“

“I found the place to be very chilly...as in you definitely need a sweater. Went there for roughly 7:30 - 8 pm on a Wednesday. I was surprised that the first thing we were told is that they are out of rice and vermicelli. The only thing we could choose from was appetizers and soups. Other than that the food was good, portions were a good size. I did appreciate that the broth was not overly salty which allowed me to add as I needed and other sauces were not overwhelmed. Seats comfortably held our party so there was plenty of room to eat and for the meals ordered.“

“I have tried Pho all around the city but Viet Hoa definitely has the most consistent broth that I have ever had. I always get the same thing here. The 311 with tendon, flank and rare beef. Amazing. and they have the pickled scotch bonnets which I love adding. TBH i have never tried anything else here but I consistently visit this place (sometimes 3 times in a week lol) for the Pho.“

“Had Pho and vermicelli. Food quality was very good though the brisket and rare beef portions in the Pho was noticeably less than comparable restaurants like Pho An Ngon. Staffs were ok. Normally I don't take just anyones suggestion for new (to me) food places to check out, but I trusted this person, and am so glad that I did, as I discovered not only some of the very best (and unique) chicken wings I've had in the entire city/GTA, but everything else we ordered was so incredibly flavour-packed and fresh- an instant favourite and new go-to, even if it's a little bit out of our way; definitely worth the trek. Parking is very tight. Literally the parking spots are smaller than average.

Their service is on par wjth most restaurants. Can they be busy. Absolutely. I wish they remove the tables for take out.

Use the tablet to add yourself to wait list if they are busy. Be patient with others while waiting

Typical family restaurant. Eat and go. Don’t hang around for a long talk. Be considerate and let others enjoy and share the amazing taste of their food

Highly recommended. Nothing can be done to improve the atmosphere unless they undergo major renovation.

“Nice place. I had stopped here in between appointments for lunch. I felt like the portion sizes were a little bit smaller than Vietnamese restaurants on the West End (I’m from Mississauga). The restaurant was clean and presentable. I ordered a pho with beef brisket. It was nice. I enjoyed it. If I’m ever in the area, I would probably come back.“

Second time here, tried the Satay Pho and really enjoyed it 9/10! I've also improved my previous 3/5 atmosphere rating to 5/5 as the inside temperature was perfect this time!

The vermicelli with grilled pork was a 10/10 and the pho with beef balls was a 8.5/10. Pho was a bit pricey compared to other spots, and I gave 3/5 for atmosphere because it was a bit too warm in the restaurant. Maybe turn down the heat a bit lol. Will be back to try some more stuff!“

“Amazing Broth“

“After five hours of riding the various rollercoasters at Canada's Wonderland, the children were famished. They thoroughly enjoyed the food they ordered, especially the 13-year-old, who devoured a giant bowl of beef bone marrow noodle soup for $24.“

“I've been to so many Vietnamese restaurants in Markham, and this is my favorite one. A lot of other Vietnamese places use quite a bit of MSG, but this one, I can tell there's none, or maybe just a very minimal amount. My mouth never gets dry after eating at Pho Mi 88 in Markham. My family has been coming here for years, my kids were toddlers back then, and now they're going to university, and we’re still coming here for their delicious Vietnamese noodles.“

The only one problem is if you get the older gentleman as the cashier, he will get your order wrong if you add any customization to your order; no mattet if he says okie or got it. “I came here yesterday with my cousin, was a lovely quiet place. I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile, and it didn’t disappoint my expectations. Service was lovely, the guy who took our order was a quiet person; who seemed a little shy to be honest but he was sweet and made some small talk. We ordered a bańh mì beef sandwich was pretty decent for $6 and we only waited about 5-8 minutes. I’d definitely come back for its affordable price. Over all it’s a nice spot to go for affordable lunch! :)“
