“I called the week before arriving to inquire about a large group seating, the hostess took my name, number and size of party. She asked me to call the day before to confirm, which I did. We arrived earlier than expected and had to wait a little bit so current diners could finish up and give the staff time to setup for the 38 of us. I was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff was for the size of our group. A group of 38 adults and youth hockey players from is a lot to handle. Not one complaint from our large group. I would definitely recommend and will, happily, return when in the area again.“

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. “We had dinner at your restaurant this past Monday, and the view from our window table overlooking the falls was spectacular. The service was so good. Our server Nitsa was attentive to our needs and checked with the kitchen when my niece (who is a vegetarian) asked to make sure the chowder was made without bacon or chicken broth. We appreciate that Nitsa made the effort to ensure my niece enjoyed her meal. I was a little surprised that the menu that we were given did not match the menu posted on the website. I was looking forward to the ravioli, but it wasn’t listed. And it was probably my error, but I didn’t understand that if I wanted vegetables, I had to order an additional side. My meal of just chicken and potatoes seemed a little lacking, but the meal was very good.“

Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. “1st time trying the food at the dog house today! Omg I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I ordered fish and chips, onion rings and ate my husband's chicken tenders. I was full from eating my food but I honestly didn't want to stop eating cause it was so good. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back. I fully intend on going there and trying every thing on the menu.

She continued to deal with tables around us, but ignored us, and continued to talk with the other servers working & spent 10 minutes standing at a table talking to what we presumed to be friends. Not only was Andy serving the patio, she was also taking care of us and multiple other tables inside. She got our food order, drink orders etc. I went as far as to ask her if they split tips or keep them, and disappointingly she said they split them. We would have tipped Andy heavily if she was alone/getting the tip herself, but was modest in tipping because the 3 other servers would have got it as well. Andy is attentive, friendly, and a 10/10.
