“I called the week before arriving to inquire about a large group seating, the hostess took my name, number and size of party. She asked me to call the day before to confirm, which I did. We arrived earlier than expected and had to wait a little bit so current diners could finish up and give the staff time to setup for the 38 of us. I was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff was for the size of our group. A group of 38 adults and youth hockey players from is a lot to handle. Not one complaint from our large group. I would definitely recommend and will, happily, return when in the area again.“

“The 2 can dine for 20$ is a good deal however the chicken is sooo much smaller than it used to be? They do give a very large portion of French fries / potatoes though. Wasn't given an option for a multigran bun which was sad because those were my favorite! I also rememeber getting a bigger cup of the dipping sauce and gravy. Kids meal was good. We got the Mac and cheese and pizza. Both were really yummy, the drinks are cool too. The kids each got a little trinket toy as well so they were excited.“

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. Would have again. The $30 prix fixe dinner offers appetizer (we had the crab cake and the goat cheese and quinoa salad), main course and dessert (all excellent). Student/servers did a great job. Hats off to the chefs. Will return. Make sure to get a reservation.“

“This is not a fine dining restaurant, but it is a very nice family-friendly spot where you can enjoy a great meal after a full day of activities. It feels a bit more elevated and relaxed compared to the other dining options in the resort, which we really appreciated.
They offer a solid kids’ menu,my daughters had the chicken parmigiana and loved it. For the adults, we tried the seared ahi tuna and the braised beef ravioli, and both were excellent for a restaurant at this level.
The wine list was also a pleasant surprise, with a good variety of VQA wines along with a few international options.
Service was excellent! friendly, attentive, and very accommodating with kids, which always makes a big difference when dining as a family.
We had a really great experience overall. Having traveled extensively with our kids and dined at all types of restaurants, I can confidently recommend this place to families looking for a quieter, sit-down option that elevates the dining experience within the resort without needing to leave.“

“1st time trying the food at the dog house today! Omg I was extremely happy with the entire experience. I ordered fish and chips, onion rings and ate my husband's chicken tenders. I was full from eating my food but I honestly didn't want to stop eating cause it was so good. I highly recommend this place. Can't wait to go back. “The Lazy Lizard was hopping last night- we enjoyed delicious food (the broasted chicken is my absolute favourite!) Service started out as a 2/10 from 3 servers, when we were seated I asked for a drink menu and was told they didn’t have one (when we were there 2 weeks ago and our server provided us with one). My fiancé spotted our server from 2 weeks ago (Andy) and went over and asked her for a drink menu; in which she reached above her head and gave him one. The server (our original server that started with us tonight) that told me they didn’t have a drink menu never looked in our direction for the rest of the night. She continued to deal with tables around us, but ignored us, and continued to talk with the other servers working & spent 10 minutes standing at a table talking to what we presumed to be friends. Not only was Andy serving the patio, she was also taking care of us and multiple other tables inside. She got our food order, drink orders etc. I went as far as to ask her if they split tips or keep them, and disappointingly she said they split them. We would have tipped Andy heavily if she was alone/getting the tip herself, but was modest in tipping because the 3 other servers would have got it as well. Andy is attentive, friendly, and a 10/10. She really cares about the service you receive!“

“Well, we drove from N Falls to Welland to try this outstanding pizza and wings. It was outstanding ! Pizza used cup & char pepperoni done to perfection and dough was fabulous. Chicken wings were huge and reminded us of Buffalo wings 20 years ago in Buffalo. No bruises on these wings A1 quality . They actual use butter and hot sauce for the type of wings we chose. And we highly recommend an ice cream cone for dessert. Loved the multiple topping choices for the burger and found the service to be friendly and prompt.
