This is probably one of those places I’d go to once, for the cute pics of the coffee. I got a latte, taste wise nothing special. They didn’t aerate the milk enough and only had one type of bean for lattes.“

This one set the bar high with its cozy interior, delicious food, the most friendly server and a nice little patio.
The hot turmeric tea was surprisingly satisfying and exactly what i needed on a rainy afternoon. The sun-dried tomato baked thingy was chumma 🤌 I had a chocolate croissant to go (not in the picture).

I didn't try the sandwiches, they looked good, but I was not impressed by the croissants, too flaky.
Americano was pretty good, however the specialty latte was terrible, way too much syrup to my liking.“

“The espresso base is excellent! It is well extracted, with a full body and a rich, nutty flavour. I ordered a cortado, a 1:1 espresso / milk ratio drink, it had absolutely brilliant balance. The sweetness from the milk perfectly merges the nuttiness of the espresso.

The barista was chill and calm. Grinding the beans, distributing, tamping, steaming the milk, and pouring it all together with a relaxed, unhurried rhythm. No rush, just patience. It’s already a good sign of a good espresso-based coffee.

I’m a retired barista and now just an enthusiast. Had a terrible coffee from somewhere this morning and needed to find a proper one. You saved my day Space Coffee!“

“An actual hidden gem worthy of an afternoon date. A chocolate factory in the heart of Leslieville serves some of the best hot chocolate in the city (with a Mayan option AND an incredible homemade marshmallow on top) and sells incredible artisanal chocolates from around the world.

As a bonus, they sell the best housewarming gift for a winter get-together: a tin of house hot chocolate.“

“I used to love staying here every Friday because it’s close to my child’s art academy, and I could relax here until the class ended at 7 p.m. The staff have always been friendly and super nice, but I was really disappointed to find out that the closing time has changed to 6:30.“

Had an amazing time visiting Buno Coffee today along the trendy and happening St. Clair Avenue West.

This gem of a coffee place is serving up some of the best coffee in the City!

A great place to just come on by, take a seat, have some great conversations and enjoy that delicious cup of Coffee to either get your day started or just winding down after a busy day at work.

I had the Spanish Coffee and the Hojicha Latte and they were both delicious and out of this world spectacular.

I really enjoyed my little chat with the barista as well!

“Hailed Coffee is honestly one of my favourite cafés in the city. The shop is on the smaller side and can get packed during busy hours, but the quality of everything they serve makes it absolutely worth it.

Their coffee and lattes are amazing — super smooth, rich, and consistently well-made. The latte art is always on point too (like the one in my photo). They also have a great seasonal drink menu, and the strawberry matcha is surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Definitely a must-try.

The pastries are incredible. Their croissants, kouign amann, and raspberry swirls are fresh, flaky, and way better than what you’d expect from most coffee shops. They also carry ma’moul, chocolate bites, and desserts that you don’t often see elsewhere — everything displayed neatly in the glass cases and jars. You can tell they put a lot of love into the baking.

I also love that they stock brewing gear and beans from different roasters — Hario, Chemex, 49th Parallel, De Mello, and more — all displayed in a cozy corner of the shop. Even though the space is small, they make great use of it, and there’s a bit of outdoor seating which is nice for warmer days.

Overall, if you’re in the area, this is one of the best spots for high-quality coffee and pastries. Just expect it to get busy because everyone knows how good it is. Totally worth the stop every time.“

“Such a cozy and cute coffee shop! One of the best flat whites I’ve had in Toronto and I loved the cranberry oat cookie! It’s a great place to stop when you’re out for a walk!

“In Toronto, most coffee shops and roasters offer the same fare, and nothing stands out. But Ethica goes above and beyond in ways that make it one of my favorites. Their specialty drinks are exceptional. The decor and thoughtful seating arrangements create a welcoming space. They stock 10% cream and won't judge you for using it (unlike many third-wave shops in town that act like you've committed a coffee crime). The beans are delicious, and the graphic design and packaging are delightful. Love this place.“

“I’ve been coming to Zav’s for the last two or three years, and it’s easily one of my favourite places to study, go on a casual date, or just catch up with a friend. The coffee, lattes, teas, and snacks are all great, but what really makes this place special is Zav himself. He’s always personable, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I’ve even seen him go out of his way to open the door for moms with strollers when he can.

Overall, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink or a snack, and an even better one to get some work done.

“Came here for a bite and a coffe and it’s one of the best coffee shops in the annex! The vibe is really nice with lots of spaces to sit but dosent feel sterile and soulless. Coffee is delicious and I highly recommend crema caffè and shaken espresso in the summer. Their sandwiches are amazing!! I got the prosciutto one and I was over the moon! New favourite in the area for sure!“

“Popped in before a picnic and I’m glad I did! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an array of pastries at a cafe before nor had equally good coffee to match!

I ended up getting an iced latte and a Nanaimo bar. The latte was smooth and not bitter at all. The Nanaimo bar was very rich and sweet, so if you’re looking for something less sweet this may not be for you.

The line moved quickly and service was great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but with the park across the street not many seats were occupied.“

“Walking along Harbord looking for a good cup of coffee. I asked some locals who led me here, to Pedaal. Boy was I impressed. The coffee was 10/10. I had an Americano which the owner explained to me was a Brazilian bean from a high altitude which I believe was roasted in Montreal. Regardless. It was VERY good. I bought the beans. This is a passion of the owner who used to home roast / brew before opening the store.“

“owned and operated by one guy who is so passionate about good yummy food. Coffee syrup is made by hand, food is made and prepared fresh. Nothing is frozen. Got a Yoda bun, was able to make a substitution which I really appreciated and when we bit into this egg, the yolk was oozing. We always try to visit when we’re on a walk and pass by“

“A little hidden oasis in somewhat of a rough patch of the city. Great for cosy dates as well as quiet moments with a book or a laptop. They offer good quality selection of coffee and tea. I liked their choice of music which enhances the overall classy atmosphere. The food and pastry, as well as the service never disappointed us. Warmer months on their patio are equally enjoyable as their indoor environment. Word of caution - you won't like it if you dislike the scent of freshly baked butter-based delicacies.“
