“Amazing for out daughter's birthday brunch. Service was great. St.Tropez benedict was better than the lobster, but both were very good - great presentation. Pancakes were spectacular, and out daughter's birthday brunch enjoyed the birthday pastry. Very nice ambiance and clean bathrooms. We would book again in an instant.“

“Had an amazing night here. We shared oysters, mussels, steak frites, and tartare, and everything landed right where it should: satisfying, flavourful, and confidently executed. The dirty gin martinis were spot on, and the espresso martinis kept the night perfectly unhurried.

Everything was delicious, service was smooth, and the vibe was that perfect mix of lively and laid-back.

“Great service and friendly atmosphere. My mussels were very good, especially the adddition of fennel and orange zest to the mussel sauce .I should add that they were a bit shriveled (an indication of age) in the shell and some were not open. The frites were excellent.“

The servers were very nice, informative, attentive, and accommodating with making sure we had our needs fulfilled, answering any questions we had, and helping us with taking pictures for us.
The kitchen staff produced an extremely great job with each dish. The presentation was perfect and the food was prepared just right. Even the steak was cooked exactly as ordered.

“Have ordered their pizza three weeks in row. Feels so special and unique for the neighbourhood. We’ve tried three of their pizzas and loved all three. The crust is light and crispy with great flavour and chew. A pizza, their amazing fries (10 out of 10), and a not to be slept on green salad is just a perfect mid-week meal.“

“I must start off by first saying, I have not had dinner In a French style restaurant, inspired or authentic in a very long time. However, the folks at La Palette ushered me back in spectacular fashion. The spot was cozy, warm, chic. I hosted my Halloween tradition there and plan to return the next time I am in toronto. The food was phenomenal, the wine selection was superb, and the desserts were perfect. The team displayed immense knowledge of their food, its pairings and combinations to enhance your experience. The vibe was very European in some essence. I had the steak fries, my fiancée had the duck confit, both dishes were tasty to the note. The steak was seasoned well and tender paired woth their in-house made butter. A solid cheat however....you must try the Malbec Cohor (Chateau Eugene), with the Ganache. Thank me later! Also Conner you rock! Sorry for calling you Sam all night, I do blame my colleagues!“

“By far the best restaurant in Toronto so far. I came here for my birthday and the experience was transcendent. First, the service was top tier level, the waiter that took care of us was gentlemen with a great vibe. Best server I had in my life. They seated us according to our request (nice seating away from the entrance). They also printed a birthday card for me which was very considerate. They also called and emailed asking us very detailed oriented questions ahead of the dinner which was top notch. They also switched our utensils every meal which is a small detail yet powerful dinner experience detail. Sparkling water was also complimentary versus other restaurants. The pace of the food was perfect as well and they also gave me a small birthday cake!

Food was immaculate. An eye opening experience. I cannot even describe the food/art that I have eaten. Nothing disappointed me. They used the best of the best ingredients. Every dish was perfectly curated and every bite was orgasmic. If I was a multi millionaire, I would come here everyday. All the food was at the right temperature, nothing got stuck to our teeth, and I would say the egg & toast dish was one very memorable.

Now as for the atmosphere, the decor was elegant but the restaurant isn’t very big, thus the difficulty of getting a reservation. It was comfy and treated us extremely well.

Overall I recommend it for special occasions, not for a huge party but great for 4 people family or with your significant other. I will be coming back for sure one day.“

“Biff's Bistro is one of the best bistros in Toronto. The food is always excellent with a great selection of classics. Our server, Katerina (Kate) was kind and helpful and all of the staff we met were professional and friendly. We were a table of eight celebrating a birthday and our food was served together and every dish was excellent. We tried the chicken liver pate, escargot, steak and coq a vin. A memorable experience and we look forward to our next visit.“

“We got the rack of lamb "cook it yourself" kit on Friday; with the sides it's an amazing value and made an absolutely superb dinner. There was an error in my order, (understandable at 7 pm on a Friday) but the team went the extra mile to make it right. I highly recommend their meals for takeout, and I'm really looking forward to dining in on their extended menu when the lockdown is over.“

“I had specified that we were there for a birthday on the reservation; also told the waiter the same thing when asked. usually they would have a candle on the dessert that was ordered. Another couple did in fact get that while we were there last night. We did not.“

“What an unbelievable experience to have dinner at Union. Our server, Hannah, was knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly, you are going to feel Iike you have met her before, she was awesome! The food was perfect, the elk sliders, the gnocchi, the crudo were our faves. We also bumped into a server, Frankie, that we knew from another great restaurant. Overall, Union was amazing, we highly recommend it everyone!“

The staff is absolutely wonderful and the ambiance is just perfect. The chef is absolutely amazing and has put together the most incredible and delicious menu you could ever want. “We have enjoyed Bonjour Brioche since it first opened, many, many years ago. We were thrilled that many of staff remained when ownership changed, and the food is as delicious as ever (spicy bacon sandwiches, quiche, lemon twists, flourless chocolate cake, and their latte bowls are some of our favourites…). The service (especially at their take out window) is also great. I don’t often call in my take out order, but when I do, the person who picks up the phone always remembers my order and my name.
It’s a nice place to enjoy a weekend brunch too.“

“Really just wanted to try the plain croissant, and it was reasonably priced at sub-$4. Unfortunately it's not winning any awards in a hurry. Flaky on the outside, soft on the inside, but it lacks the butteriness of a superior croissant. The dough reminded me more of bread than laminated pastry. Staff were very pleasant, lots of seating inside, overall a decent spot. Just maybe try something other than a plain croissant 🙂“

“Not a bad note at any time. Monica is a very good server who is knowledgeable, engaging but not smothering. There when needed. The food is inventive and so tasty. Small bites. Two of us ordered five dishes and loved them all. The sommelier, Tessa, makes an amazing Arancello (better than Limoncello)! Her wine list is interesting and extensive, covering most types and regions, but we would have liked more bottles from Ontario, although the ones provided are all really good. We shall be back.“
