“Visiting after a long day of travel, I wanted something nice but I also wanted something familiar. My companion and I came here. They specialize in plant based seafood alternatives, but I went with the chicken sandwich, which was made with tofu and breaded. We had a vegan, organic, Spanish wine (half price Wednesday). All in all, amazing! Food tasted great and the ambiance was beautiful! Great give“

“Having lived in Japan, and others parts of Asia for almost 20 years,where the Omakase is on a different level, I have never tried it after returning back home as I thought I would be disappointed. However, Yasu did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and superb. The sake pairing was perfect. The Caviar and Uni extra, was also fantastic. Everything from start to finish was superb. It was our 25th Anniversary dinner and it was one of the best meals I've had since returning to Toronto. Dinner for two about 800, so bit pricey but definitely worth it!!!“

“Had Valentines dinner there last night. The first dinner package was mainly sashimi but the changed it to sushi for us at a reasonable extra cost . “The interior design is done beautifully with lots of unique decors like posters, cherry blossoms, very modern yet also traditional, lots of greens as well to look at. The seating areas is clean and comfortable, and can accommodate many people. The food presentation is very pleasing to look at, and everything is provided for you immediately.

Their staff seems to be mostly Korean so if you can speak Korean you can. 서버는 한국어를 할 수 있습니다. Since they are Korean they are used to the Korean restaurant style so they may not come to your table too often but they are always looking at your tables, if you raise your hand they will come as soon as possible. (If its busy you can yell “jogiyo / 저기요”)

Overall this is a really nice restaurant to relax in and take in the atmosphere while enjoying some sushi.“

“Looking at the window I was asked if I wanted to see what they looked like as there was a display. I was sold when I did. The crab and the spicy beef one were SO good, Presentation was also beautiful. Quick and delicious grab and go snack. Spicy was my favorite!“

The fire roll, asparagus-beef rolls, adegashi tofu 👁️👅👁️ a lot of sushi spots mess up the tofu. One of my favourite spots.

Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t believe the entrance is spacious enough for those in wheelchairs, and the double door entrance make for a tight uncomfortable space, no steps going in (stairs to access the washroom) so maybe.“

The quality of the food was amazing.
Everything was all fresh and amount of the food was alot.
The presentation and combination of variety fish was great.
I was just surprised that you have to order at the front and pick it up and they still ask for tips... mind as well I work there and tio myself.
The Dinning area is also very limited so it is better to takeout and eat at home.
Will I return it back? Yes! Because food was great.“

“Shoushin was one of the best Omakase experiences I've had outside of Japan hands down. Excellent service that can rival any fine dining establishment. The sake list was extensive and well thought. The food was perfectly timed and seasoned to perfection. Each piece of nigiri showcased the chef's personality. The perfect rice to accompany the perfectly prepared fish. If you're looking for an intricately prepared sushi roll this may not be your kind of restaurant. If you're looking for more traditional and simple flavors that showcase the fish and seasonality, this is the restaurant for you.“

“J SAN is our typical go to for sushi. We usually order their party trays. However, today, in addition to our typical order we added a dynamite roll and black dragon roll.

For the first time we were shocked and disappointed. The roll in reality look so sad compare to the one shown online. The amount tobiko was nowhere near their marketing photos on the website.“

“I was starving, after going from shop to shop with my wife on Roncy. Popped into Kami Sushi and it was a very pleasant surprise. First off the place is spotless, had to use the bathroom right away and those bathrooms were super clean. Which I think says a lot about an establishment. The food was phenomenal. Had the mini chicken katsu, gyoza, the crunch and spicy tuna specialty rolls. The rolls were huge and just melted in your mouth. They even have a nice patio in the back. I paid for two soups, two appetizers, two large specialty rolls and a drink and it came out to less than 70$ with tax. Super reasonable pricing. We’ll definitely go back.“

“Went to grab some items on end of day special since it's so close to my home. There is no sign for what the end of day special actually is - so i have to ask. The girl that closes is always RUDE. She rushes me off as if i'm bothering her. Please hire friendlier trained staff and not staff that do not like their jobs or are annoyed with customers. I visit other Kibo locations often - usually it's a good experience.“

“For a mall sushi its pretty good but for what its worth definitely an 8/10 and I like the “end of the day sale” which starts at 6pm part. Also rating service 5 because once my father used to work in the mall and one day I came to buy him a lunch and my dad mentioned to cashier and he gave us free water as goodwill. “Recently decided to try Kiyo, and it proved to be even more enjoyable than our usual sushi spot. Been back already and it was just as good. Loved the placemats, chopstick rests and overall attention to detail. Felt a bit more elevated in that sense.

“I recently dined at InJapan Japanese Restaurant and had a decent experience. I ordered the Sushi Maki, which included 4 pieces of sushi and 6 pieces of California roll for $15.95. While the sashimi wasn’t as fresh as I expected, it still got the job done. The meal came with tea and miso soup, which were perfect for the winter season. The service was quick and polite, and I was the only customer there at the time. Overall, it was a nice lunch meal.“
