“The interior design is done beautifully with lots of unique decors like posters, cherry blossoms, very modern yet also traditional, lots of greens as well to look at. The seating areas is clean and comfortable, and can accommodate many people. The food presentation is very pleasing to look at, and everything is provided for you immediately.

Their staff seems to be mostly Korean so if you can speak Korean you can. 서버는 한국어를 할 수 있습니다. Since they are Korean they are used to the Korean restaurant style so they may not come to your table too often but they are always looking at your tables, if you raise your hand they will come as soon as possible. (If its busy you can yell “jogiyo / 저기요”)

“Didn’t have any reservations anywhere near our concert venue in a very busy night (Valentine’s Day and family day weekend) so looked up sushi near me and thank Google, it led us to Koi - every bite was so delicious and I’ll be back for the torched scallop, torched salmon and spicy beef inari (pocket) sushi. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious and our chef/host/server had the best sweet energy. The attention to detail was amazing and all the staff were attentive, chef evn asked us if we wanted less or more rice and checked in with us multiple times on how we’re doing. I’ve never felt this full after an omakase, I’ve lost count of the number of courses. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer kaiseki the most!! Everything was delicious, it is definitely on the more pricey end but I would say it’s worth visiting at least once!“

“Ordered delivery and it arrived super fast since it wasn’t peak time. Everything was packed really well and they were generous with the sauces.

The salmon was very fresh, and the yam roll was so good — the crunchy tempura bits inside gave it an amazing texture. I ordered the 213 set and loved that it came with salad and miso soup too, felt like a great value overall.

“An unassuming spot on Yonge Street near Davisville. Small place, good food. If you like Korean and Japanese food this is an excellent place to eat at very affordable prices. I had the Super Bento Box and frankly I thought the price was low (no customer ever said that, but I did). My bill was $20 including tax (plus a generous tip). Now, this is not a fine dining Omakase restaurant, so must not compare to that, but for a good Japanese meal and very good value for money, stop by. I know I will go back.“

“This is one of the best sushi I have ever had, and I eat a lot of sushi!! The portion sizes were generous, the food was good quality and nicely plated, and on top of that it was extremely affordable!!

I got a green dragon roll with eel sauce instead of fruit sauce. My partner got a red dragon roll and 4pcs of salmon nigiri. We also got an order of shrimp tempura which was hot, crispy, and delicious.

“I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down for a late afternoon lunch at Kami sushi! Sunny was delightful, respectful and very engaging to talk to. I had the lunch special 13 and i was very surprised but expected nothing less with the quality, freshness and presentation of my meal. The butterfish was soft and delicate, the tuna was tasty and the salmon was some of the freshest salmon I’ve ever had. In a world where restaurants are copy and paste from one another, Kami sushi separates themselves from the pack by making your experience special from the top down. I will be back and I can’t wait!“
