Tim Hortons in Waterloo

“It is a rarity but this is the only Tim Hortons I like. No crazies, the service is EXCELLENT and even the donuts feel like the old school donuts (sort of) and if you want to come read/or do some work, this is the best place to come to. Honestly, well done!!

“A convenient spot for a quick coffee, it's never busy and doesn’t offer a full breakfast menu, just muffins and similar items. It’s attached to a convenience store with a gas station, has friendly staff, and even offers a drive-through.“

“The service here is always great. Staff are friendly and they usually have the products I am looking for. What I don't like is the frequent introduction of new and great menu items (all Tim's) that quickly disappear. i.e. decaf lattes and cappuccino. It was so nice having other decaf options beyond regular coffee. Alas, they are off the menu after only a few weeks. Why??? ? P.S. bring back blueberry bagels“

“I had a great experience today, even amidst the Boxing Day rush. The store was very busy with a long queue, so I decided to place my order online. Unfortunately, the order was placed incorrectly. When I arrived to pick it up, the staff quickly pointed out the mistake and helped me correct it, despite being extremely busy. Their patience, teamwork, and smooth coordination stood out. I truly appreciate the excellent service and dedication of the team. Keep up the fantastic work!“

“There is a young lady named Swati who works here and she is absolutely lovely. She is very kind and when you are served by her it definitely makes your day better. She is always happy, always smiling and always polite. This restaurant and it's guests are very lucky to have her.“

“I miss some of the menu choices that were discontinued such as the chicken salad sandwiches. The beeping of the ovens can get annoying as is the case in any Tim Hortons. Overall they do a consistent job of serving up delicious, fresh food. The staff are pleasant and make you feel welcome. It is a comfortable place to have a coffee and relax for a bit.“

“This place offers good service with good team members. I went to this tim hortons for the first time at night on 10 November Sunday night. The old lady and other girl were very nice and polite. The girl suggested me to try their new drink which was with whipped topping and tastes very good. This place will be my favourite place to relax after my classes.“

“This is about 'Tims' as a whole, particularly a menu item, and not this particular location (thus the 5☆ for location and 1☆ for the menu item).
Anyhow. My gripe is about the 'maple bacon breakfast sandwich'. Now perhaps it's my fault for misunderstanding the name of the food item but I honestly figured this would be a egg breakfast sandwich with maple (infused/flavored) bacon on it. What I wasn't expecting was a nasty blob of syrup in the middle of the sandwich (and I say 'syrup' as I'm not even sure if it was indeed 'maple syrup'). Maybe I should look at the advertisement next time I'm there to see if it shows a bacon and egg sandwich with syrup on it and if it does then it's completely my fault. But either way the syrup was nasty tasting. Almost chemical like and kinda resembling the aunt jemima syrup of old which is in no way a maple syrup product but rather an imitation of such (and better tasting than the syrup in question). But. There it is. Imo the sandwich is nasty and its name misrepresents what it truly is. It should be called 'bacon and egg with (maple flavored) syrup on top sandwich'.“

“I was really disappointed in their "new" breakfast sandwich. I prefer a folded egg rather than a fresh cooked egg so I have been going to Tims for this. Recently I ordered one and the folded egg had been replaced. That was my last breakfast sandwich I ordered. I do love their new bold roast coffee though.“
