“This is our go-to spot for crepe cakes! They’re very cheap for the quality and in comparison to many other cafes/bakeries that sell crepe cakes. We’ve tried the Oreo, mango and Earl grey crepe cake, and they were all so delicious. The cakes were not too sweet which suited our taste. The store is in the underground parking lot, and once you enter, there’s the sweet aroma of cake.

The crepe cake is very delicate with many layers as pictured. The mango crepe cake was great for mango lovers as there was a lot of fresh mango. The earl grey crepe cake was great as well because there was a strong tea flavour and it wasn’t too sweet. There was also an Earl grey jelly on the top layer of the cake. We come here every birthday to order crepe cakes because although crepe cakes are usually the most expensive, X-Cake sells delicious crepe cakes for an affordable price.

We came back for the earl grey crepe cake again and it was delicious as usual. We also tried the mango purple rice crepe cake which was not too sweet, and the purple rice added a unique flavour which we enjoyed!“

“This is a MUST GO TO Restaurant. I went for breakfast on March 20/23. My experience started with the best service from General Manager Gary Anthony. He was friendly, informative, and fast. The breakfast menu has everything. I love Eggs Bennie. While my style was not on the menu, Gary made it happen anyway. THE BEST EGGS BENNIE EVER! Gary recommended the Banana/Orange/Strawberry juice (it says fresh on the menu). I asked if it was "that grocery store brand" that shall not be named here. He said NO, we made it fresh from real fruit in the blender. It was like a smoothie from heaven. I will return often. While I live about 30 - 40 k from this restaurant (I had an appointment near it that morning) - I will be returning again and often. Next time I'm bringing my wife - She'll love it. Thank you Gary.“

The actual coffee was nothing special, which was disappointing, but we loved the matcha and looking around at the decorations and books in the shop.

“Two things will tell you if you’re at a good location.1. Exceptional staff and baristas who don’t miss a beat, and 2. The quality and taste of the Nitro Cold Brew. And this location won me at that.I’m a bit particular about the taste of Nitro, and if its pulled wrong or the ratio of water that is mixed in is wrong, it can throw the flavour off. If the tanks and lines aren’t cleaned properly you can get a bitter or strange tasting beverage. There are a lot of moving parts in making sure the cold brew is up to par, and is usually a good indicator as to how much care the staff takes in preparing the cold brew (and likely everything else). That litmus test is what I personally use to know if I want to keep going to a location or not, and I never have issues here.Also special shout-out to JC who knew exactly what I wanted from my Nitro beverage. “I really liked Miss Lin cafe! I came here with a friend and I thought the desserts were absolutely beautiful. They were also quite tasty and a good mix of fruits, jellies and chewy mochis. The only thing I would say is if your dessert comes with flowers, don’t eat the flowers! I don’t think they’re supposed to be edible flowers as my flower did not taste too good.“

“I had a great experience at Machi Machi! The drinks were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and just the right sweetness. I ordered 5 drinks and I tried the Fresh Fruit Jasmine Green Tea, and it was one of the best I’ve had.

The staff was very kind and honest. She was working alone and let me know that it might take a little time, which I really appreciated. Even though I had to wait a bit, it was worth it for the quality and care she put into the drinks.

Unless you are a group of friends who want to stand around, this place is probably only good for the summer as you can hang outside and the nearby park. Otherwise, this is purely a takeout place.“

It is technically open kitchen😂so everything is made fresh upon your eyes.

I love their pan fried vermicilii and hong kong style ice milk tea! (It can get bitter sometimes so ask for more sugar, they are nice)

“Came here for lunch on a Saturday late afternoon. Haven't had ying yang fried rice for a long time. Also ordered deep fried chicken wings with fries on the special. Portion is huge for the rice. Always enjoy their Chinese soup. Seating is very comfortable and the waitresses are very nice.“

“Panera has my favorite soup of all time its the broccoli cheddar soup. It is seriously the best and take it every time I go here. We also took the avocodo BLT and its the best sandwich ive ever had! “Visited around 10:45 a.m. on a Tuesday. The café is tucked beside Shoppers Drug Mart, with plenty of parking available. You pass through a charming patio to enter, which was shaded nicely thanks to the size of the Shoppers building.

Given the recent heatwave, we opted to sit indoors. We were greeted at the door and offered the choice between a two-person table tucked farther inside or a four-person table closer to other diners. We chose the smaller table for a bit more privacy and ease of conversation.

Menus were provided right away, followed shortly by tap water. When our server checked in to ask about drinks, we let her know we were fine with just water. Later, when we were ready to order, she came promptly when we called her over.

A standout moment: we ordered just one smoothie, and she kindly asked if we were sharing, then offered to split it into two cups without us even asking. A thoughtful and appreciated gesture.

The Pineapple Banana Smoothie was a highlight. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and incredibly refreshing.

My sister ordered the Halloumi Benedict. She noted that while the waffles leaned toward a sweeter flavor on their own, the combination of waffle, egg, and halloumi was well-balanced and worked beautifully together. The egg was jammy and spot-on in terms of taste, texture, and presentation.

I had the Fully Loaded, which features a potato waffle topped with bacon bits, sour cream, chives, and cheese. It leaned a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so, still quite enjoyable overall. I loved the potato waffle which has the slightly crispy edges but was soft to bite with a texture that resembled mash potatoes. As someone who isn't usually crazy about waffles, which was such a nice alternative.

Each of our mains came with a side salad (lightly dressed and refreshing) and a choice of fruit salad, maple baked beans, or potato salad. We both chose the fruit salad, which was impressively varied with orange, grapefruit, watermelon, blueberry, blackberry, and banana.

“The present owner has many years of experience in the authentic Chinese cuisine in Hamilton,Ontario. We used to go to his Hamilton restaurant every weekends for at lest over 10 years until he moved to Markham.. Good food and service too.We really missed him.“
