“visited Himalayan Coffee House with my kids and we loved it! The art coffee was so cute — it looked just like the pictures and my kids couldn’t stop smiling at it. The drinks weren’t super hot (probably because of the coffee art), but they still tasted really good.

The vibe inside is really cozy and the waitress was super nice and helpful. Everything we tried was good and I honestly really enjoyed the whole experience.

Parking was easy too — there’s a Green P lot right across the street, and since I went on the weekend I found a spot with no problem.

Overall, it’s a great little coffee house to relax and enjoy something fun and different. Definitely coming back!“

“I almost finished their coffee before I got home, really rich and smooth. Their scones are perfect, slightly crisp crumbles on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Particularly enjoyed the balance of that buttery taste along with the subtle sweetness of the jam.“

“What a beautiful cafe!

This one set the bar high with its cozy interior, delicious food, the most friendly server and a nice little patio.
The hot turmeric tea was surprisingly satisfying and exactly what i needed on a rainy afternoon. The sun-dried tomato baked thingy was chumma 🤌 I had a chocolate croissant to go (not in the picture).

“Nice small coffee shop, pretty good vibes with nice music. Perfect for reading a book or for a date.
I didn't try the sandwiches, they looked good, but I was not impressed by the croissants, too flaky.
Americano was pretty good, however the specialty latte was terrible, way too much syrup to my liking.“

“The espresso base is excellent! It is well extracted, with a full body and a rich, nutty flavour. I ordered a cortado, a 1:1 espresso / milk ratio drink, it had absolutely brilliant balance. The sweetness from the milk perfectly merges the nuttiness of the espresso.

The barista was chill and calm. Grinding the beans, distributing, tamping, steaming the milk, and pouring it all together with a relaxed, unhurried rhythm. No rush, just patience. It’s already a good sign of a good espresso-based coffee.

I’m a retired barista and now just an enthusiast. Had a terrible coffee from somewhere this morning and needed to find a proper one. You saved my day Space Coffee!“

“Walking along Harbord looking for a good cup of coffee. I asked some locals who led me here, to Pedaal. Boy was I impressed. The coffee was 10/10. I had an Americano which the owner explained to me was a Brazilian bean from a high altitude which I believe was roasted in Montreal. Regardless. It was VERY good. I bought the beans. This is a passion of the owner who used to home roast / brew before opening the store.“

“My dad is in the hospital and requested a decaf latte at 7pm. Tim’s doesn’t carry them and everything else has been closed for hours. The hours here really helped us. “A little hidden oasis in somewhat of a rough patch of the city. Great for cosy dates as well as quiet moments with a book or a laptop. They offer good quality selection of coffee and tea. I liked their choice of music which enhances the overall classy atmosphere. The food and pastry, as well as the service never disappointed us. Warmer months on their patio are equally enjoyable as their indoor environment. Word of caution - you won't like it if you dislike the scent of freshly baked butter-based delicacies.“

“My first experience with Ethica Coffee Roasters began when I purchased a bag of their coffee from another source. Today, however, I received my very first 1kg order directly from Ethica. I was so impressed back then that I could hardly find the right words—and now I feel the same. Of course, the most important part is the coffee itself, and I won’t try to overdescribe it: it is simply sublime. I truly believe that the quality—or even the happiness—of life depends on small details, and the coffee I get from Ethica absolutely makes my life better.

I don’t even need to mention how beautiful the packaging is—it’s just perfect in every detail. On top of that, I received a sticker and even a card that can be exchanged for a cup of coffee, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Even though I live in London, I definitely want to visit their café in Toronto one day, and I hope I’ll be able to do it soon.

However, there’s almost no food, desserts, or sandwiches available, which is probably why there aren’t many customers. With the right menu and concept, this place could easily become popular. I would love the opportunity to help develop it and work as a supervisor to bring new life and energy to this café so people can truly fall in love with it.“

“This was a cafe that's been on my bucket list for a while now, and I have to say that it's a place I'd come back to again! This cafe is Indian inspired (halal too!), and has fusion meals and desserts!

Customer service was amazing, and the interior of the cafe is so beautiful!

We ordered the ferrero rocher coffee (more chocolate flavoured, not heavy on coffee, more like a milkshake), latte (not too strong, but good), croissant, and banana muffin.

There's plenty of parking available, you may need to go around quite a bit to park in front of the cafe since it's in the back of the plaza (I feel like their signs should be more vibrant so people can know which way to go).

The shop is small, but there is some seating in the back. When I went, it was also pretty busy and they seemed to be having a small rush, but it was a reasonable wait time.“
