“We were looking to try a new restaurant and we ended up at Penelope’s. What an hidden gem for us. The sourdough is top tier. Every drink we tried was on point. Summer 75 for me is a refreshing one. You can usually never go wrong with pizzas and especially over here. Also, hands down the best calamari I have had in this city has been from here. Trust me when I say that, it was so good that I forgot to take a picture lol. We are definitely coming back again!“

I wasn’t expecting the cookie to be soft and not too sweet (big compliment to the baker). It was actually a Dubai chocolate style cookie with pistachio cream and knaffeh, with a layer of dark chocolate on top.“

In terms of spice, you can change the broth to suit your level of tolerance. After leaving the restaurant I did not feel full or have that heavy feeling with my stomach. “Ordered 2 Double Shack Burgers which were delicious , Cheese Fries which were unfortunately a bit too cold, The Chicken Nuggets that were thankfully piping hot and fresh, as well as the Strawberry Lemonade which was really refreshing.

It does take time for the food to come but it is because they make it to order, the prices are okay and seem to be around the same with other burger joints.

It is way better than other burger places at Yorkdale, and it is good to try! Will come back again!“

“I was a vendor this year at Kempenfest 2025. Monday evening it was finally slow enough for me to go for a walk and look around the festival. I wanted something to drink and asked Curbside Dogs if I could have an orange pop. The lady in the food truck said she couldn't charge me for the pop because the time for their food permit expired as they were packing up (I did not realize the food trucks had different close times than us art vendors). She politely told me I could have the pop, no charge! I was so thankful and it made my evening even better. Thank you for caring Curbside Dogs!“

“I have been to this location a number of times and the service has always been amazing. The staff is great and a special shoutout to Maria who has a wonderfully warm presence and wants customers to feel good about their experience, in fact, I always manage to leave the store feeling better than when I arrived. That's rare today. If quality matters to you, this is the place for you.
I have come to love all their products because of their pure and organic ingredients and my only dilemma is deciding what to purchase... cause they're all so delicious!“
