The two young ladies working behind the counter were incredibly welcoming and kind, creating such a positive atmosphere. “The sandwich was really nice, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and for just ten bucks, it honestly doesn’t get much better than that.
The coffee was great as well something I’d come back for.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the almond tart; the egg flavor was a bit too noticeable for my taste.
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making the visit feel welcoming and well taken care of. Overall, a solid spot with good food, great service, and excellent value.“

“When we first moved to Canada, our apartment was in this area. Although I never really liked sweets I used to admire the cakes from the window. As a teenage kid who eats food with eyes first, one thing that caught my eye is the lemon meringue that looks like a cloud. That was my fave and wont forget it till now. 19 years after, I pass by this area. I am happy to see that regulars still come here and I was first sad when I did not see my cloud meringe but I got the lemon meringue which is very similar (if not better). I got some portuguese tarts too and shrimp patties. Theyre all great. 6 items and I paid $12 in this economy in Toronto. I love it!!!!“
