“My family and I have been eating here for over 15 years. The food is always fresh and delicious. Let me put it this way. I don't eat my Mother's home made eggplant but it's the first thing I order off the menu. My favorite dish is the hummus with meat. Delicious homemade garlicky hummus with filet mignon and pine nuts in the middle. Yummy!!“

“I went to Ali Baba's for dinner and I ordered a Chicken Platter. The amount of food they gave especially the chicken was incredible. Everything tasted good and I was pleased when they reheated the potatoes on the grill for me. The store environment was clean and nice, (a typical shawarma restaurant) but the would made this particular spot great was the tissue boxes on each of the tables. This was great, especially compared to any other restaurants that will offer 2 small napkins that are almost transparent. Customer service was great, very friendly. I would go back again for sure.

“I recently visited Osmow's and tried their large Half and Half Chicken Shawarma Box. It was incredibly tasty and wonderfully prepared. The portion was generous, the chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. The combination of rice and salad complemented the flavors beautifully. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff who made sure my meal was prepared just right. Highly recommend this location for a delicious and satisfying meal!“

“Fat Pasha is a gem — delicious authentic food, excellent drinks, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming dining experience.

We had an incredible experience at Fat Pasha, sharing a variety of appetizers and mains family-style, and everything was delicious. The Whole Roasted Cauliflower was a showstopper — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and so satisfying. The Fattoush Salad, Classic Hummus, Muhammara, and Garlic Labneh were all fresh, vibrant, and authentic, each dish offering its own depth of flavor and balance.

For drinks, I tried the Pemgroni and the Date Old Fashioned, both unique, well-crafted, and perfectly suited to the meal. Everything we ordered was filling, thoughtfully made, and clearly prepared with care.

I got the beef shawarma pita box with rice and it's deceptively large. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the portion was and was decently full by the end of the box. Food tastes good and the staff are friendly.“

“Visited Tabule, Riverside location for lunch. Plenty of veg options and the quality is great. Also, portions are normal size. Lots of drinks to choose from. I especially recommend Cinnamon Honey Latte (can be made decaf) or faux-jitos, if in the mood for a cold drink. Our server was Brendan; he knows the stuff he serves, can make recommendations and suggestions. The patio in the back is what you need on a hot afternoon, but lots of room inside as well. The prices are reasonable. If we are in the area again, would definitely go back.“

Pita and Hummus is hands-down one of the best restaurants around! Every visit is an experience full of warmth, flavor, and hospitality. I always find myself coming back for their comforting lentil soup, their incredible beef and lamb saj, and of course their mini pita pockets — usually stuffed with chicken shawarma or falafel (honestly, just get both, you won’t regret it!).

What I love most is that this is a family-run, Palestinian-owned restaurant that pours so much love into their food. You can taste the authenticity and care in every bite. The atmosphere is welcoming, the portions are generous, and the flavors are absolutely unforgettable.

If you’re craving fresh, delicious Middle Eastern food, this is THE place. Highly recommend to everyone!“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

The Tameya (falafel) was crispy and flavourful. The Beef Hawawshi was juicy, though the bread was a bit too soft and soggy for me. The tahini and sauces were excellent.

Simple menu, fair prices, and friendly service overall — though for a birthday table, you’d expect a bit more attention.
