“This was our first visit, a dinner for 4. The restaurant could use some updating, it wasn't offensive, same with the washroom.
That said, we selected the $30 dinner per person, with kabobs as entries, and many traditional middle eastern foods. Service was wonderful, as the pita, vegetables, stewed tomatoes, hummus and much more arrived. Very fresh, well presented at the best temperatures. Pleasing to eat, plentiful servings.
Main course arrived, delicious beef and chicken. I highly recommend this location.
Btw we had previously visited the Leslie St. last year, didn't compare, food was disappointing.“

“I went to Ali Baba's for dinner and I ordered a Chicken Platter. The amount of food they gave especially the chicken was incredible. Everything tasted good and I was pleased when they reheated the potatoes on the grill for me. The store environment was clean and nice, (a typical shawarma restaurant) but the would made this particular spot great was the tissue boxes on each of the tables. This was great, especially compared to any other restaurants that will offer 2 small napkins that are almost transparent. Customer service was great, very friendly. I would go back again for sure.

“I recently visited Osmow's and tried their large Half and Half Chicken Shawarma Box. It was incredibly tasty and wonderfully prepared. The portion was generous, the chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. The combination of rice and salad complemented the flavors beautifully. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff who made sure my meal was prepared just right. Highly recommend this location for a delicious and satisfying meal!“

Probably one of the best meals you can get on the Danforth strip. The food is exceptionally tasty, fresh, and served with so much love. The shish tawook, and lentil soup are so satisfying in every way.

The photos speak for themselves. Spectacular meal. To the last rice grain.

Pita and Hummus is hands-down one of the best restaurants around! Every visit is an experience full of warmth, flavor, and hospitality. I always find myself coming back for their comforting lentil soup, their incredible beef and lamb saj, and of course their mini pita pockets — usually stuffed with chicken shawarma or falafel (honestly, just get both, you won’t regret it!).

What I love most is that this is a family-run, Palestinian-owned restaurant that pours so much love into their food. You can taste the authenticity and care in every bite. The atmosphere is welcoming, the portions are generous, and the flavors are absolutely unforgettable.

He gave us extra food and complimentary drinks when he found out we were from out of town. The Baba Ganoush was authentic and fresh, and the kebabs were tender and packed with flavor. Recommended if you’re staying near the Highway 7 area.“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

It was clear our server was new, as it took a few extra minutes to sort out the logistics with having two bills and then taking our order in a way that she could easily track and bill properly.
