The food is fantastic and reflects a true love of cooking. I have had the juevos rancheros, the chilequiles poblanos, and the quesadilla. Their chips are made to order and come out hot, and the standard salsa served with them is roasted and well flavored. The prices are very reasonable and the menu does state that chips and salsa are not complimentary, and in this instance with the quality it's understandable. As a side note, the decorating is fantastic and provides wonderful ambiance! Glad to have found this little gem and can wait to come back for lunch or dinner service!“

“This is a great spot if you are antisocial. They have digital menus where you can order from on the table. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It can be busy but it’s worth the wait. I highly recommend eating family style and try out all the different dishes.“

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. It used to have a full view from the restaurant but the porch roof covering it really killed old the vibe inside.
