“First time at Don's, and they managed the impossible: they fed me things I usually hate, and I loved every bite. It's also an absolute gem for romance—perfect for an anniversary or just a top-tier date night. The antipasto was a knockout—Dungeness crab with a hint of heat paired perfectly with a fresh popover. Even the Oyster Casino won me over, and I normally don't touch oysters. They even pulled off a Gorgonzola iceberg salad that I couldn't stop eating. Don has this incredible knack for balancing flavors so perfectly that my "no-go" ingredients became the highlights of the night. A total win for a special night out. I'll definitely be back. Unfortunately no pictures because the food was gone before I remembered to take a picture :).”

“Stopped by on a whim to make sure I tried some Oregon wines while I was visiting Portland. I had a wonderful time and tried some delicious wines. Met the owners who were as nice as could be. I ordered a flight of three wines and also ordered the olives. the wines were very good, and the olives were so good I had to ask what kinds they were. Seems like a great place to enjoy some wine and food. I wish I could've stayed longer and gone back another time. They also have a bottle shop attached so if you find one you really like you can take it home with you.”

Observed that most of staff looked unenthusiastic and very few smiling—including the manager who was dressed like a lumberjack. (A bit weird for what is being touted as a “French restaurant.”). “Had Camila’s for the first time today and I tried the Carne Asada burrito and a Al Pastor taco. They were both very good. The asada burrito had a very good amount of meat and was seasoned well. The Al Pastor is the best I’ve had around the Hillsboro/Beaverton/Aloha area! The owners working the truck were very friendly and you could tell they liked what they were doing. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful meal at decarli last night for our anniversary. The short ribs truly deserve the hype, we were blown away. The seafood pasta was amazing as well. Cocktails were well balanced with good variety. My partner loves classic cocktails and I love unique ones and they had a selection of both. He was a big fan of the walnut bitters old fashioned. We split a steak tartare appetizer and a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. Our server was very warm and attentive despite the busy restaurant, and our food came out quickly. This was our first time at decarli and we left with a very positive first impression. Great atmosphere, romantic without feeling stuffy. I am confused by some of the reviews- who cares it’s in a strip mall? Parking was easy and it’s not like we’re in NYC, it’s Beaverton we’re talking about. 10 years ago the whole town was basically a strip mall. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.”

“Dropped in to have some lunch and I was not disappointed. I had the Ricky Ricotta Detroit style Pizza which was delicious. Every weekday a specific flavor is on sale for lunch if you want to try it sometime with a little less investment.

They have free Wi-Fi, the bathrooms are clean, and the vibe is casual and fun.”

Michael and his team do a wonderful job- all the dishes were beautiful, inventive, and delicious. Don't sleep on the "Olive Oil Cake" for dessert- your taste-buds and waistband will thank you.”

“I just visited JCD BBQ with a group of three friends, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the place was spotless and inviting. The atmosphere is super clean and comfortable, which is always a huge plus for a K-BBQ spot.

​The food was outstanding—everything came out tasty, fresh, and incredibly filling. We left completely satisfied (and maybe a little too full!).

​But what really made the night special was the service. The staff were all exceptional, but I have to give a massive shout-out to Danny (Clark). He went absolutely above and beyond for our table. He was hilarious, kept the energy up, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask.

​Danny is definitely part of the reason we’ll be coming back soon. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, this is the place to go!

“I am giving 5 stars because of the amazing service I received from Vickie. She made the best sandwich I have ever had from subway and was so friendly . She was handling the counter by herself ,, I don't know where her co workers were but while she was making my sandwich a party of 6 came in and online orders kept pouring in and she didn't miss a beat. She was fast and efficient and her friendly attitude made my day. Finally subway hired someone that knows how to make a sandwich and under pressure at that. If you want a good sandwich go in when Vickie is working.”

“We have a Christmas Eve tradition of Jack in the Box tacos. We got there about 9:15 & the line was long & slow. The guy who took our order was very apologetic, kept us updated & was funny. It took awhile to get our order but was worth the wait. They were doing the best they could. Tacos were yummy & cereal donut holes.”

We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. “Paul and Jose are my favorite :) I’ve been coming here for years, it’s the best poke in Oregon. Free miso soup and they always give generous helpings!! The fish is SO FRESH, and I joke with my friends that there’s crack in the spicy sesame shoyu sauce (there definitely isn’t) but this place is freaking phenomenal. I’d eat it everyday if I could, but unfortunately I no longer live in Oregon… I come back everytime I visit. You won’t regret coming here!! It’s pristinely clean, with free infused water, and vibey Hawaiian music :) I recommend it with my whole heart!”

“Very kind and accommodating for my Gluten free needs. Even brought me my own GF soy sauce pot. Beautiful presentation of food and very good food and fresh fish. For GF I did the special on the board of K-skewers chicken no sauce, a veggie roll that they left one thing off that wasn't GF, and a Hawaiian roll. Hubby got a couple other rolls that were great. The wasabi has a pretty good kick to it LOL the ginger is really good.”

I had excellent Enchiladas de Mole along with a very good Cadillac Margarita and finished with excellent freshly made churros for dessert! Also the chips, salsa and guacamole are very good. Chips come out warm after they make them to order with fresh salsa. They have different salsas on request. I will definitely be back!! I forgot to mention the service was prompt and friendly!”

Donut King initially a little apprehensive, but the second you walk into the store you realize yeah this is definitely the king of donuts. At least 30 different varieties of donut. And the fact they are all Displayed in a showcase right in front for the see!!
Are you vegan? Are you gluten-free as my partner happens to be? They have donuts for both and last I checked this is the only donut place in town that has gluten-free donuts and vegan donuts within the west side..

However, this place—located on the second floor of a Korean market—is very simple yet surprisingly delicious. Whenever I go to G Mart to pick up sale items, I usually stop here for a meal.
The food here is much better than at Jeju, Hanok, or other Korean restaurants. Another advantage is that after finishing your meal, you can conveniently do your grocery shopping right downstairs. The prices are reasonable, and most of the menu items taste excellent. This is definitely a place I recommend.”

“This is our favorite Mexican food truck in Beaverton, and we have tried quite a few. Their old location was walking distance from us, and we liked the food so much we followed them to their new location even though we have 3 other food trucks in walking distance, we will drive to get El Comalillo because nothing else compares. The owners are really nice too and were so welcoming when we first moved to Beaverton. We always get a taco plate and quesabirria with horchata or strawberry drink. Great food made by great people. 5 stars.”

It’s close to home, they have indoor and outdoor seating, the people there are really nice (especially Amy, who always tries to have a stout or 2 on tap), and my dog feels so relaxed here (sitting outside of course). It’s just a cozy local hangout, and they have cool events all the time. A lot of my favorite bars and restaurants have closed since the start of Covid, so I really hope people help support this place so they’re able to stick around a long time.”

Should replace it with a crispy rice bun with seaweed which will help compensate the seared fish burger. Too much sauce also makes the bun become too soggy.”

“I’ve ordered delivery from Thai Bloom before and really love their food, but I’ve never dined at the restaurant. A couple of friends and I met up for happy hour. It was our first time meeting there. We were originally seated on the restaurant side and when we asked about the happy hour menu we were moved to the bar area. There were no tables available but we were told we could sit at the bar until a table became available. A table freed up, so we moved to it. No sooner did we sit down when a woman (the bar hostess?) approached us and said we couldn’t sit there that it was for another group. We explained that we were told to wait at the bar for a table to free up, and she said we needed to tell her. We didn’t know about her, so why would we tell her? Even the bartender didn’t know we needed to go through her to sit at a table. It just felt to me like nobody knew what the procedures were except this one woman. She was rude and I will think twice about going there again. On a positive note, all other staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly and the food was wonderful. They have a really good happy hour menu at really good prices.”

It's rare to find chicken breast not overly dry so avoid ordering it. They told me they use thigh meat for all their dishes so went with it. This was wonderful, cooked to perfection, & a huge amount of food. I will be eating on it for two days. The place was super clean & put the food out quickly. “I come to this particular Black Bear every year because it is the one nearest to the hotel nearest to where my dad lives. I go to a Black Bear Diner pretty often, and this one is up to the same high standards as basically all the others I've visited. This visit, however, was not to see my dad but to go to his funeral. It was a really rough day today. I could hardly leave the hotel room. But when I did, and I sat there just reading for a bit over a hamburger, listening to nothing in particular, my waiter was very helpful and attentive despite there seeming to be a lot of people and not enough waiters. He had no way of knowing that today was one of the hardest days in my life. He was kind, attentive, and engaged me in a brief conversation in a natural way without it being forced. I sat for a bit after my meal and had refills for another half hour, until just after closing time. My waiter's name is Ethan. Melissa told me that while she wasn't the manager, I should put a review up online so that my compliment gets back to him. I don't know if I will be back here any time soon. If I am, I will hope to see Ethan, who just did his job and who was genuine.”

She immediately made us feel welcomed and through our visit took the time to let us know about their current gift card promotion where we could receive an extra $25 in bonus bucks with our purchase. Since we visit Red Robin often, the offer was perfect for us, and we really appreciated that she took the initiative to share it as it was the first we heard of it although this was our 3rd time at RR this week. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and helpfulness set a great tone for our visit and this is why i gave this location 5 stars.”

“We stopped in and hadn’t read any reviews. We just figured it would be just another Indian restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered chicken Briyani and lamb curry (spicy) and the food was tasty. In addition, there was not oil galore like most Indian restaurants. We will definitely be back.”

“I'm a very picky boba consumer, but this place is top notch. I come here all the time!! The foams are wonderful, especially banana and ube.
I have two suggestions for improvement:
1: Please get decaf coffee!! If you had decaf I would have to start direct depositing part of my paycheck to you cause I would come so often. I want those awesome coffee drinks in the afternoon!
2: Recently you switched to pebble ice. Please switch back to regular! The ice peices are so small that they get sucked up my boba straw, which is not pleasant and makes it really hard to drink foam or finish my drink without getting mouthfuls of ice. I think there's a reason I've never been to another boba place that has pebble ice.”

“Stopped in for the first time, partly drawn in by the outdoor patio. Got the Teriyaki Titan sandwich and was not disappointed. The chicken itself had a great flavor and complimented the rest of the sandwich very well. The egg rolls were fantastic. The filled with great, and they were very crispy. The tots had a great flavor, especially with the sweet chili garlic sauce on top (shout out Luke for the fantastic suggestion!). Everything was prepared fresh and came out hot.

The place itself is really nice. The patio has a nice fire pit and is kept nice and clean. There are a few pinball machines that can be played inside, as well as a variety of art supplies and a few board/card games. Very chill spot, great food, fantastic service.”

“Another newer addition to the westside. The place is spacious and has some specials. We ordered the Peachy Keen Latte, which had the right amount of peach flavor to it. The barista waa quick in making the drink and was friendly. Its a cool place to sit and chill or have a conversation at.”
