“Sparky's has redeemed itself! We had a fantastic pizza this time; lots of toppings and the pizza filled the box. We were hopeful that the last couple times were glitches of some sort. Sparky's in Damascus remains as the best pizza around!

Is Sparky's in Damascus cutting back on size and toppings? We have been Sparkys lovers for 14 years - their crust is fantastic! But the last couple times, the Large size was noticeably smaller and the toppings were skimpy. We acknowledge that everyone is hit with higher costs and if that's the case, here, we'd rather pay a little more to get the wonderful pizza we've been used to all these years.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

“Just had my first visit here and it was so good. The vegan pork belly is something I would have never ordered, but so glad my daughter did because it was amazing!! I got the fried rice which was also really good, and had asked them to add broccoli. Most places just toss a couple pieces on top when you make this request, but Van Hanh put a ton of perfect bite sized broccoli all through my fried rice. Perfect, and much appreciated by this broccoli lover. We will definitely be back!“

“Love Javi's. It's in our neighborhood and we can walk. It's such a welcoming and warm atmosphere the minute you walk in. They were busy on Sunday morning and we opted to sit at the bar, which is a cute 3 spaces. Bar stools aren't the most comfortable but we didn't want to wait for a table. I ordered the salmon eggs benedict and it was phenomenal. It was the special so if it's available when you visit, get it. So delicious. We also ordered bloody mary's and watched the bartender make them in front of us. Spicy with a long celery stick and green pimento olives. You can get bacon added if you want (we didn't). We love this place. The family that owns it is gracious and trains their team well as their service is excellent, friendly and an extension of the family. Javi's menu items for both breakfast and lunch items will keep everyone happy with enough options for the next time you visit. It's just a great, local restaurant that focuses on the quality of its food and service. Definitely go check it out.“

For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

The aroma from the kitchen smelled so good, I decided to take a chance and order anyways. I am so glad I did! Everything was amazing!! The goat was tender, the cabbage and salad complimented the stew very well, and the rice was delicious. My toddler ate it all. We will definitely be back for more!“

“I will die on the hill that Cully Central is one of the best food spots in Portland and easily in my top 5, possibly top 3! I see other reviews say it's too salty- I love salty/savory so if you don't, keep that in mind. The Nam Khao is my favorite and I genuinely feel sad whenever I finish it because there isn't more. Second favorite is the Tom Yum. Amazing on a cold and rainy day. Lao sausage- amazing. Wings- delicious. Everything I've tried has been flav-or-ful. “This review is based on our last few minutes paying the bill, everything else was top notch. Our group of 4 was chatting when our bills arrived and continued to visit, and our waiter came by to gather abit later and told him it was ready. At this time we Bagan to review our bills to pay one with a card and we were paying cash. As soon as I placed the cash in their bifold and placed on the table another waiter came to the table and stated being just like our waiter and dressed similarly. Worth noting she was about 110 5 foot or so with our waiter at 220 plus and 6ft or so wit a great beard. I stated that our waiter had much bigger feet and a great beard with my wife commenting about our matching hairlines... lol right. No next thing we get is she identifies as law enforcement and proceeds to walk away with an elevated voice "I'll kick beat you down" I turned left to my friend and sain now she wants to wrestle. At this point mist people are watching and then just short of screaming she yells "I'll Kick your A$$". And indeed the entire restaurant is watching on what was going on, I simply went back to visiting with our group not knowing what was next. Not long afterwards our waiter walked by and as he did thank me for the tip. No follow up from management nothing. So probably about 15 minutes after this a few other groups had left and we started our departure and still nothing. Over the years we have been here many times as a couple and a few large groups, after this event not to sure we could return for an enjoyable dining experience with their staff threatening some ones life unprovoked.
