“Real neat place with fun staff. I got the Beast and the Beauty sandwich, and it was huge! Absolutely delicious with a ton of meat and delicious toppings. My friend got a gluten free Rose City smashburger, and it was on a sliced sandwich bread that got toasted but no complaints from them. Definitely recommend.

Dietary restrictions: Seems like the only gluten free bread they have is sliced loaf bread.“

“My friend and I visit here every Friday evening. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Especially Jason. He remembers regulars, and is very genuinely caring about the people he serves. The servers, including Lupita, are very prompt and nice. Your drinks never go empty! We prefer this location because it’s not only open until 10pm, but because we have had such pleasant experiences with the staff. Food is pretty darn good too! Fresh breakfast meats and French toast! Thank you!“

“Diner style breakfast (and lunch) at it's finest! Our go-to place for weekend breakfast. Not fancy, but good and filling. Watch the specials board: my favorite is the country fried steak omelette.
And if you show up regularly, you get greeted by name, and your coffee will be waiting for you when you get to your table.“

“We love Crave and have gone there several times. The mac and cheese is beyond great. We love the pasta they use, and the sauce is amazing. I always have extra to take home too. Not your grandma's grilled cheese is another favorite. I personally don't understand the bad reviews. It has been so great every time we go we have been completely satisfied and have told management several times. Compared to a lot of places and fast food at the same prices, it is a no-brainer. “Walked by this place a bunch of times and can’t believe I didn’t know about this gem of a place. The country fried steak was phenomenal. Seasoned and crispy, and was served on top of the gravy! First time I’ve seen that. The real winner was the home fries. Made me feel like I was back in my hometown diners in CT. So wonderful. Our server was the nicest lady, I’ll absolutely be back.“

“My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. She ordered the chicken strips and I had the steak. Both were properly cooked and appealing. Staff was friendly starting with the greeting as we came in. It was a weekday so it was rather empty and peaceful at the time. Background music was pleasant. We learned about then from their sponsorship of Outlaw Country music radio. Our only suggestion may be adding more decorations to give it a more distinctive character. (She made me add this. :-) ) We look forward to coming back again.“

“I am on my 5th year living in Vancouver and I have found my favorite breakfast place. Sorry no pics l was ravenous. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Very simple, but done expertly. Next time I’m hungry for breakfast out I know where I’m going. I don’t even need to look at the menu. Try this place you’re missing out! Wonderful friendly attentive service too.“

“My friend and I decided to come and have happy hour and we ordered california roll the wagu beef sliders the cod tacos and the fishermens stew. I enjoyed the sliders very much. The california roll had more rice than filling but, the crab meat, avocado and cucumber had good flavor but the quantity was very small. the cod tacos didn't say it was blackened with spices that were a little more than my taste buds could handle. the fishermens stew was very flavorfull and had well cooked fish and seafood. I would not recommend the california roll because of the amount of rice.“

“Nice enough place... Almost like a bar you can bring your kids to? Not a lot of places to get a hot dog and they have a full menu of big Costco sized dogs for a not unreasonable amount of money. I had the burger on Texas toast and it came with fries for $13, however some of the hot dogs were $12-13 which is good if they came with fries but they don't, they come with chips, fries are 4 more dollars and are grocery store variety crinkle cuts... Not sure why the burger is cheaper than a hot dog... The burger was pretty good. My family seemed to enjoy their hot dogs. We had a couple beers that were good but not cheap by any means. It's not overpriced but the place has kind of a bargain feel, I think I would have liked it more it was like a "wow that was cheap experience". If you're gonna charge $12-13 for a hot dog include fries or maybe a 2 dollar upcharge 4 bucks is too much for a hand full of crinkle cuts. Lottery cheapens the place a bit and makes it feel more like a bar than it should. It's not a bad place.

“Good for vegans. Healthy whole foods from a fast food place is hard to find. Price is on the higher side but worth it. Southwest bowl w/tofu is my rec. They should use more tofu but its still very filling & hard to finish a bowl.

tip: ask for sauce on the side - it's very good but they use too much and it soaks the rice at the bottom of the bowl. Get it on the side = problem solved.“

“Wow! We have been fans of Dean's Homestyle Cafe for many years. When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“
