“We picked Elk Cove as a winery to stop at on our way to the coast for our honeymoon and are so glad we did. We had a great time here from start to finish. We did a tasting of pinot noirs with Gloria who gave us an awesome experience and a wealth of information about the winery and what we were tasting. We really enjoyed the Pinot Noir Reserve and ended up buying a bottle to take with us. The patio and view overlooking the vineyard just can’t be beat. There is also a fairly large indoor space with ample seating if the weather isn’t cooperating. Note that they appeared to be doing some renovations outside but this in no way affected the experience, view, etc. If you’re looking for a great wine experience in the valley, look no further!“

“Kramer is like home to me !The new tasting was outside on the patio.Three tables at a time. We had a 90 minute time slot reserved. Everyone wore masks when appropriate. Our Hostess Sarah, and server Keri, were wearing masks and as always endearing. I love the time there. “My husband and I have driven past this place for years and on a whim, decided to try it. The environment was cozy and felt like a perfect small town diner. We ordered two chicken fried steaks, chef salad, rosemary fries and 3 bacon, two eggs and pancakes. The food was beautiful and the portions were large! The pancakes were fluffy and moist and the garlic bread that came with my chef salad, made my husband smile. Overall the food was fufilling and didnt make us feel groggy afterwards. The waitress was attentive and super sweet. Worth the money we paid!“

“I remember going to their original location down on Main St. right next to/connecting to the Half Moon. I moved here in 2008 and have known them for 14 years now. “We're locals from Hillsboro and every few years we use our September anniversary as an excuse to get away from the kids and drink wine in Yamhill county. Every trip is to a different BnB and each day is spent discovering new vineyards.

This most recent trip we were keen on good wine with a view, and got no less than four separate recommendations to visit Penner-Ash. We swung by on a Saturday afternoon as walk-ins but were told they had no availability for tastings. We were offered bottle service but decided to make a reservation for Sunday morning to try again, and boy are we glad we did!

The view from the patio is absolutely amazing! The sommelier was charming and delightful! I'm a sucker for any opportunity to learn and she was an absolute treasure trove of knowledge about wine making, which meshed very well with the structure of our tasting: 3 wines, exactly identical but with different soil? Wow, I have been to dozens of these at other vineyards and never learned as much as I did here.

We will definitely make a point of returning, thanks again for such a wonderful morning!“

“We had had the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of Willakenzie that we found in Omaha, Nebraska. We thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided to go to the Vineyard. The wines that are available from the vineyard are even more exceptional than the one that is distributed in Omaha. (Probably not a surprise 😆) We absolutely loved our experience! The tasting room is very beautiful, but we understand they are going to renovate it and add more food service. So we’ll have to come back and check that out! We were excited to buy wines and ship them home.“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“What a wonderful experience! This stay was originally to celebrate Valentine's Day but due to weather/road conditions we were unable to arrive on our reserved date. The general manager, Nicholas, understood the situation and adjusted our stay so that we could enjoy our stay at the inn and the surrounding wineries, restaurants, and shopping at the local stores in the nearby communities. Not only did Nicholas adjust our date of arrival, he graciously upgraded our suite to the premier suite on the property! Nicholas, a very personable young man, also took time to meet us upon our arrival and showed us around before handing us off to Maddy, a vibrant and friendly young lady, to welcome us to our suite. Maddy was very informative, providing suggestions for wineries to visit in the area and details regarding our stay at the property. She also took care of us for breakfast was wonderful just to chat with. Our suite was very impressive, modern, tastefully decorated, and extremely comfortable. The views were spectacular with vineyards on the hillside and snow covered mountains in the background. We enjoyed wine tasting at The Four Grace's Winery on property and tastings at several other nearby wineries. All were spectacular in service, views, and quality of their wines. Our stay could not have been any better, wonderful service, superior accommodations, and a very quiet and peaceful setting in this beautiful area of Oregon.“

“This is my second time here. I really like their Cottage Potatoes, they're simple and very soft. I got a veggie omelette with Swiss cheese. It was delicious, they sautéed the veggies before putting them into the omelette and all was seasoned perfectly. The service was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back.“

“This is little cozy restaurant. They have tasty food. I A-Rok burger, kiddo had Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My burger was good , cooked to perfection. Little pink. Kiddo said their sandwich was delicious and would order it again. Service was excellent. Never saw the bottom of my cup.

“I was a club member years ago when Dave and Mary opened this vineyard. I went back yesterday under the new ownership, Cooper Mountain, and it is still lovely with great tasting wines. I don’t like tannic reds or oaky Charonneys where as my boyfriend does. We both found wines we both enjoyed and some we each liked more than each other. Arborbrook continues with a very wide range of flavors!! They also are all organic and biodynamic, I highly recommend !“

“Okay the vibe and ambience is the best part of it! I ate indoors since it was a cold winter day and it felt so cozy from the interior design but also the sound of the crackling fire. It also helped that I felt like I was in the tavern from beauty and the beast. The outdoor does have a lot of fire pits which would have been great.

We (husband and I) shared the crab cakes, tempura green beans, and Parmesan garlic tots.server was very good, brought us 2 types of dips, one spicy and one not so. Crab cakes were very good, 4 balls, real crab with a very good kimchi tartar. Green beans were crispy with Parmesan and garlic, tots were also crispy with garlic..not greasy at all . Needless to say we had our garlic fix. Would highly recommend!“
