“Came in on a Saturday night during dinner time. Parking was easy as there is a parking lot. We were sat immediately ( 2 ppl ) in a booth. The environment is very dine in friendly with dark tone walls and some fun plants. There were also large table tops that could sit 8+ ppl. We were able to order pretty quickly. Service is fast and friendly. Our food came out under 10 mins.

The menu was easy to navigate. Good variety of options. We ordered the PT Good Special Phở and vermicelli bowl w/ chicken. The broth was very good and authentic. There aren't that many Phở places outside of Portland that offer tripe and tendon in Phở and I was happyto find one that does!

Would recommend to check this place out as they are also open 7 days a week with closing hours at 9:00 pm daily.“

“They do, in fact, have killer ban mi! They also have huge portions for a reasonable price, and attentive and helpful staff that go above and beyond. Can’t recommend them enough! Their lemongrass pork bahn mi is absolute delicious and addictive.“

We ordered pho and egg rolls—both were good, though the meat in the pho was a bit on the dry side, and the egg rolls were slightly overcooked. “I had a fantastic experience at Yoonique Phở & Grill! The pho was outstanding, with an overabundance of meat—something you don’t see often. They definitely don’t skimp on portions, making the meal feel like a great value for the price. Speaking of which, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous serving sizes.

The interior of the restaurant was well-laid-out, which honestly surprised me given the neighborhood. It had a clean, inviting atmosphere that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The service was also top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient.

Perhaps the biggest testament to the quality of the food is that even my picky wife enjoyed it! That alone speaks volumes. If you’re looking for delicious pho, great service, and fair prices, Yoonique Phở & Grill is definitely worth a visit.

Update to Our Review:

We returned to the restaurant and, as always, the food was excellent. This time, we tried the seafood fried rice, which unfortunately wasn’t a hit—it just didn’t land well for us. On the brighter side, the fresh lychee tea was superb: light, refreshing, and full of flavor. We also had the Thai iced tea, which, as always, was solid and enjoyable.

Still one of our go-to spots, and we’ll definitely be back—just not for the seafood fried rice next time.“

“I visited Vietnam a few years ago on a food tour, and this food tasted just like that. We had the Bún with Bò Lá Lốt, the Chả Giò Crispy Rolls, the Gỏi Cuốn Salad Rolls, and the crispy pork belly. The flavors are really interesting and pungent (in a good way) and herby, their housemade fish sauce is perfect, we loved it all. It’s the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in the USA. I can’t wait to eat here again.“

“Was excited by the daily special menu concept of this lil viet noodle joint. The food was mid-edible-decent at best, but the price is pretty high af. A bowl of whatever noodle is nearly $20! Now I know inflation is high but a bowl of vermicelli noodles in chicken broth with some shredded meats should not cost this much!“

He is a second generation business owner/chef. His pho is the best I have ever had and it's because of their secret family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We have been friends since Highschool and me and the basketball players would always go to his Mom and Dads pho shop after a basketball game. It's so healing and just makes you feel good like you're giving your body exactly what it needs to repair itself. Jimmy is also a talented artist, as you sit in his small space each piece of pottery, tea cups, bowls, and urban art are so tastefully place and cultivated from local artists. His mission is to build the business of this new pho shop on Alberta and take care of his mom and dad who are reaching retirement. My partner tried the wholesome plate which included a scrumptious egg roll. I definitely am planning to go back! Prices were pretty typical for the area ($17/entree), but it was a pretty generous portion. The restaurant is a walk up stand with some indoor seating and LOTS of outdoor seating in an area with lots of restaurants and bars. I’m very happy, impressed, and satisfied with the Special Sausage Egg Combo dish and Peach Tea drink this evening. Really love the generous portion in the box, the meat is so tender and so flavorful and the side veggie, pickle is so fresh. This dish is very common and can be found at any Vietnamese restaurant, but this place is definitely a step above. Recommended!“
