“BEST PLACE TO GET ASIAN FOODS!!! I was traveling from a different state here, and my group was really hungry, and we wanted Asian foods since we're Asian. This place surprised us so much. It tastes so much like our home country. I couldn't provide any picture because we were really hungry from the long trip and just dove in to eat. The food reminds me of my home country, and it was amazing. The prices are affordable. The service is awesome. My sister dropped her orange juice and got a new one without extra charges. It looks small and old, but the food isn't. The quality is fresh. The people are really friendly. Definitely coming back again.“

“A Hidden Gem: The Bò Kho (Beef Stew) is a Must-Try Masterpiece
​I came here specifically looking for beef stew and was absolutely blown away. Phở Nguyên is a true family-run hidden gem that serves a dish of exceptional quality.
​The Dish (Bò Kho - Beef Stew):
I ordered the Bò Kho with Mì (egg noodles). The meat was, without exaggeration, the most tender I have ever had in a restaurant. This quality was exceeded only by the sheer quantity; there were at least six huge, incredibly tender chunks, easily eight to twelve ounces total. It was clearly a high-quality cut, either beef shank or brisket, braised to beyond perfection. It was so soft it simply fell apart, exhibiting a mastery of slow-cooking.
​The technical execution extended to every component, which is so hard to achieve in a stew. The carrot was bright orange, firm yet tender, and maintained its powerful, distinct carrot flavor-a sign of perfect timing, as it never absorbed the beef flavor. Likewise, the potato was flawlessly cooked; firm enough not to be mushy, yet soft. This incredible balance demonstrates true culinary mastery.
​The Experience:
The care and tradition here are obvious. I initially sat toward the back and noticed a slight cleaning scent (I am extremely sensitive to chemical smells, so others may not notice it). The staff was extremely accommodating when I asked to move seats, and the issue was completely forgotten and masked by the incredible aroma of the Bò Kho when it arrived. The service was warm, provided by family members who clearly take pride in their work.
​If you are looking for authentic, unforgettable Vietnamese cuisine, this place is essential. The Bò Kho is a transformative meal.

He is a second generation business owner/chef. His pho is the best I have ever had and it's because of their secret family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. We have been friends since Highschool and me and the basketball players would always go to his Mom and Dads pho shop after a basketball game. It's so healing and just makes you feel good like you're giving your body exactly what it needs to repair itself. Jimmy is also a talented artist, as you sit in his small space each piece of pottery, tea cups, bowls, and urban art are so tastefully place and cultivated from local artists. His mission is to build the business of this new pho shop on Alberta and take care of his mom and dad who are reaching retirement. Their Hu Tiu Nam Vang is pretty legit and a meat try. I got mine half rice noodle and half egg noodle. They do load up on the protein and the broth comes with a piece of bone. “I don't live in Beaverton, but I shop and eat in the area monthly. I haven't eaten at every local Vietnamese restaurant yet, but I'm getting close! I wish I had tried this joint sooner, and I think it's my favorite so far! I really like Bun (vermicelli bowls) and I had the one with shrimp, pork, and spring rolls. Most places just salt the food or season lightly and depend on the grill for flavor...these chefs season the meat and shrimp beautifully, and the handmade spring rolls were fantastic all alone. I was pretty involved with my food and I completely forget what my dining partner had, but we both loved it and will make a point of returning. Don't sleep on this place, it's better than many other choices nearby!“

“Okay here’s an in depth review. I walk in front of the restaurant. It’s so beautifully decorated with plants and looks very charming and welcoming on the exterior. I walk in. My nose is hit with the delicious aroma of comforting Vietnamese food. “Hello customer!” Says the wonderful girl at the ordering station. “What are you looking to eat on this magnificent day my friend?” I tell her I’m not sure, she proceeds to show me their menu with all the delicious foods. I cant even decide because I want them all!!! After thinking for a bit I decide on the Vietnamese pho. And one of their hand crafted drinks. The kind young employee guides me to my seat. I look around at all the beautiful decorations— it feels like I’m transported straight to Vietnam. I help myself to a refreshing free cup of lemon water. About ten minutes after ordering my meal comes. Not only did I receive a very generous portion of pho, it came with lots of sides to pick from, and even a hand cut lime. I devour the pho. The beautful and kind employee takes my dirty dishes and gives me a warm smile. As I’m leaving the whole crew of cooks and employees say “Goodbye my friend! We are so happy we could nourish your soul and stomach!” I almost have tears in my eyes. No name pho felt like my own home. The food was affordable and made me feel comforted and safe. And the workers made me feel like royalty. Thank you all.“
