“Stopped into this place on the way back from the Oregon coast. We had no idea what to expect. I’ve eaten Thai food all over the place, and this ranks right up there. I ordered Pad See Ew, and it was an absolute explosion of flavor. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and sometimes rice noodles can be overcooked and become too mushy, but these were perfect. I got the dish with chicken and the chicken was delicious and tender. I can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t let the modest interior fool you!“

“Great food and great service. All four of our party had seafood as an entrees and it was excellent. Highly recommend the macadamia nut encrusted fish. One of our party had it with salmon, the other with halibut. Wonderful. The cioppino was also excellent. Our waitress Joy, was also very attentive.“

“It was a bit chilly in the restaurant (bathrooms are freezing), but the warmth of the employees and great food make up for it. Just don't sit near the windows like we did. Huge portions of food. Remember to save room for their cinnamon rolls or take it home. They are the best and also huge.“

“Matsukaze 松風, meaning 'Wind in the Pines' - is, to me - without doubt - the finest restaurant in Grants Pass. It's opened three hours a day during the week and 3.5 hours on Saturdays for a reason: that's all the time it needs. People are at the door before it opens and it's busy until closing time because the food is absolutely superb. And the ambiance: perfect. It's comparatively rare to find a Japanese restaurant in America, especially one of this caliber. I first came to Matsukaze in 1984 and it's still going strong for self-evident reasons. A classical Noh play by Kan'ami Kiyotsugu (1333-1384) is also titled 'Matsukaze'; a true work of art, just as this restaurant bearing this same name most certainly is. Anyone visiting Grants Pass should be sure to make dining here a priority.“

“My mom and I went to lunch there today. The lunch was very good and had a great waitress by the name of Nicole. She was very helpful in directing us to the best Lo Mein. Service with a smile! I recommend Koi Sushi with a rating of 4.5.“

“My buddies and I love to come here after we do, well, anything in town(bowling, movie, etc). When we think of alternatives places to eat we just end up coming back to Abby’s. Specifically Williams highway cause it’s the most convenient but we like other Abby’s location's to. They have an arcade and coloring activities for kids and have beer on tap and long tables for adults and large groups. You guys gotta get a location in Corvallis Oregon if you haven’t already cause I’m off to OSU soon as of writing this review!“

“There was a much older woman who was our waitress who was exceptionally rude. She didn't bring my wife's soda, and when asked for it, she acted like we were asking her for something that was just too much trouble. My wife's chili-dog was very tasteless, and obviously microwaved. I had the Piper burger, which was close, but just not the same. When I tried to offer a suggestion on how to make it more like the original, the server got visibly upset. She also denigrated my wife for not finishing her meal (she only eats small amounts at one time, and at 60 years old she certainly doesn't need someone telling her how to eat!). That woman needs some customer service training, as her rudeness guaranteed WE WON'T BE BACK. There's LOTS of places to get a burger, don't waste your money at this place.“

“I wanted to give the entire staff at Abbys a huge shout out. They service was wonderful and generous. We had a birthday party there with 40 guests!! They had all our orders out rapidly and the kids had a blast gaming and playing in the arcade. 10/10 for bday parties and large events!“

“Arrived in Grants Pass Oregon tired from driving up from Lakeport, CA starving to death… checked into the Motel 6 with my pooch. My dog Charlie and I, walked the 2 blocks up to Julie‘s Uptown Bar and Grill to get an order to go.Cute funky place , very nice staff—-large parking lot if you don’t walk . They have an outdoor patio ( with ashtrays btw!) which was empty on Memorial Day weekend Saturday. 5:00 pm except for Charlie and me to grab a beer while I waited.I ordered the Saturday night special of Lasagna, which I don’t know if it was homemade, I think it was, but it was awesome. I love this place. I’ll be stopping here next time and try some of their other food. Many big chain motels nearby. Give it a chance. I wasn’t disappointed“

“I waited 3 years to return here for the Cuban Sandwich & it did not disappoint! It is the standard against which I judge all other Cuban sandwiches & I have not found one better anywhere in all my travels around the US! And your fries are to die for! “Best Egg Foo Young i have ever had, i have consumed Egg Foo young 200 times in my life. This unexpected little hole in the wall was a gem. They presented me with a small white box and a even smaller rice box i was a little dismayed but i took it home hopeful of getting lucky (ive had bad egg foo young a few times as well) i opened it and immeidiately was unsure what i was looking at. It was a stir fry covered in sauce and tucked undeneath were my coveted patties. i asked for extra sauce and was very very impressed with all of it not one critique in the negative except more rice“

The food was cooked to perfection, and came out quite fast. They were very busy that night, yet made us feel as if we were special. I will definitely be back, and will book future parties with them.
