“Ok this place has terrible parking (I.E. none) and was fairly crowded. I almost ended up in the food carts across the street. MAN I'm glad I decided to try it out anyway!! The chef and mixologist (not just a bartender) were both top notch humans that provided a delicious experience with amazing service. We sat at the bar and honestly would do the same again. Definitely added to our experience. These folks give a shit about their art and it shows. I hope to catch some live music or an event sometime soon.“

“One of the chillest Foxy's around! Good vibes, awesome workers, great prices on drinks and smokes. If you need a more relaxed night than what most pubs can offer, then this is your spot. They have an awesome lounge area that is hardly ever used so it's always an awesome choice. Definitely give them a look cause they are so much more than what you expect a gambling den to be.“

“Been here twice and was not disappointed! Great vibes! We had a reservation so we were seated promptly even without having the 4 people all at once. Order was supposed to be placed at the bar which was a little inconvenient. In drinks we got the Dew Process which was sweet but nice, United States of Baijiu and Green Machine were great. Mandarin wings were amazing as always, tofu was greasy but great, honey shrimp was awesome! The silk dumplings were not so great since they were too doughy and I could barely taste the wagyu beef in it. All in all a fun experience!“

“One of my favorite places in the neighborhood. The staff all are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and it’s not a small menu. They really have something for everyone including a big list of NA cocktails. If you catch one of the bartenders with some time, they will really nerd out about the cocktails they are developing. I’ve never had a bad drink and the cocktails are a steal compared to drinks of quality in other cities.
Same with the food. The bread and butter is perfect. The butter is salty and soft. That and the pickle plate are my go-tos to nosh on. Seats are comfortable.“

“Very cool cocktail bar with a lowkey, relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a Paloma with Casa Migos, and it was absolutely perfect. The modern Western decor and live DJ really set this place apart, on top of great service and knowledgeable staff. “I did the elixir experience at Ravens Manor and I highly recommend! The staff were extremely entertaining (shout out to Carmella and Lilith) and were accommodating! The entire bar is decorated top to bottom in the spookiest way- I truly felt like I was an evil scientist in the lab! If I ever come back to Portland, I will for sure be visiting the manor again!“

“Awesome atmosphere, great food and service. While not the best chicken sandwich in town, it's got a great crunch and combination of flavors with the sauce on it. I wish it was a little thicker piece of chicken but the bun is great. The fries are delicious, and the staff kindly offered many kinds of sauces for the food. It's a great place to bicycle to, right on a Greenway and a section of road closed to vehicles which they utilize for a terrific outdoor seating area. This place is great, highly recommend.“

“We wanted to try here again, it had been a few years since we'd been. It made it for happy hour and got a couple of the cocktails-a rum negroni and an Old Fashioned type bourbon drink. Both were excellent. We got some food including the shrimp cocktail and a burger and fries. The food was also fantastic. Our server was super friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our experience here and will be back soon.“

Exact order I recommend, trust me: Burrata, cheese pizza (it’s better than what you think a normal cheese pizza is), pesto pasta with chicken, and a cocktail. “The Cypress room is a hybrid little side room, half bar, half restaurant (and thus minor friendly), just across from the main Courtyard restaurant, specializing in light bites, desserts, brews and cocktails. Unlike Honors, Detention, and the Boiler Room, it's open *most* of the time, with no real blackout times or dates (other than the early morning), making it among the most accessible, thus it's probably the room in which I've spent the most time at the Kennedy School, other than the soaking pool.Service is usually quick and attentive; easy to do in a cozy little space like this. And as its just one piece of the McMenamins pie, the prices and quality of drinks and food are the same as you'll find elsewhere on campus. If your visit to the Kennedy School involves coming early, or bringing kids, you're probably going to find yourself in the Cypress Room at some point!
