“WOWZA!!! I just bought lunch and I am so happy I found this place!! The food was so delicious I thought I was back in Maui again. I would rate 1,000 stars if I could. Absolutely amazing!! Ohana Hawaiian Cafe is #1!!!Wow wow wow!! I’m speechless, can you tell?Parking: Easy! No sweat!Kid-friendliness: Take your kiddos, they’d love it too.Wheelchair accessibility: Super easy and flat area. I would think a wheelchair would be able to get inside without having any issues. It is worth it.“

“Not sure if it was an understaffed afternoon, but it took an hour for our food and our order was completely wrong. The staff seemed very tired/grumpy. I didn't want to say anything, because I was starving and didn't want to wait any longer. It was still good, but a bit disappointing that I ordered/paid for a more expensive dish, but I received a cheaper meal. The food was still good, just not what I ordered.I also noticed a few other customers coming back up to the counter after reviewing their food, so I'm thinking we weren't the only ones with the wrong order. No big deal.The reason for 4 stars is more of the cleanliness of the restaurant. Sticky floors, and the bathroom was not exactly pleasant or clean.There is also a serious lack of tables in this location, definitely more of a "pick up" location compared to other Roxy's.It could have just been a bad day, but I likely will just visit Canby Roxy's instead.“

“Catering! We ordered for an office lunch. Everyone loved it! I got in touch via email, which was very easy, responsive and helpful. We bought for about 50 people. We got a whole pan of rice, three 1/2 pans of meat (hurricane chicken, teriyaki chicken and Katsu chicken), one 1/2 pan of veggies, and one 1/2 pan of Mac salad, with some extra sauces. Next time we will definitely get one more 1/2 pan of meat, and do a full pan of vegetables. The people were lovely and helped me load it in the car. Very gracious, generous and pleasant to work with through ordering as well. I'm sure we will order from here again!“

“This was on my tiki bar fanatic brother-in-law's list for his first time in Portland, and it did not disappoint! We got there right before it opened on a Friday, and it was a full house within the first half hour of being open, so I definitely recommend going early. I got two gin drinks--the Singapore sling and the moonlighter. Loved both although the Singapore sling was my favorite. My sister got the blue Hawaiian and the hurricane. My brother-in-law got the mai tai, the doctor funk, and the drink that came with the blue tiki mug. For food, we got two orders of the Hawaiian bread (had to get another order it was so good!) and the edamame. This was such a fun experience! A very welcome tropical escape from rainy Portland.“

“This food is amazing. It is obvious the chef cares deeply about the food he prepares. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the size of plates. The value of money spent for product you get can not be beat anywhere. I'll always recommend this place first for catering or grabbing some lunch. 5 star for real!!!“

“Comfort food at its finest. Guys working there are super chill and set us up with all their sauces. We took some time deciding what we wanted because all of it sounded so good. My brother got the trifecta combo and my husband and I each got the chicken sandwich. My only complaint is that the sandwiches were a little hard to pick up and eat just because they were so loaded. Don't let the website pictures fool you - these portions are huge (and the prices very affordable). My husband and I could have easily split one sandwich but instead have leftovers for tomorrow. :) everything just pairs well together. The menu has been well thought-out and I think we need to come back to try more!“

“Such a tiny spot we almost missed it. Just a counter with one worker, not a place to sit and eat or anything which I didn't realize going in. Ordered the plum and tuna which were both good. Their musubi was amazing though and I wish I had gotten more lol!“

“This place has the best shave ice I've ever had outside of Hawaii - and better than some I've had on island. Sooo good. The only sad part is they don't serve shave ice all year, today was the last day until next spring. The rest of their offerings looked yummy and I look forward to trying those, too.The people working there are very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back.“

“I've ordered from this place many times, but never actually been inside. The food is consistently good, fish is fresh, and the variety is good. Poke is fresh with delicious sauce options. I got the 8 poke options to share dish and most of them were delicious!“

“Oregon’s first Kava bar! Both the Portland and Vancouver locations offer a chill vibe with various comfy seating areas. The decor is authentic and honors the South Pacific culture without being kitschy. The Portland location features reclaimed wood from Indonesia. The Washington location boasts a stunning living wall. The kava is prepared traditionally and served in a coconut shell. The owner has spent a lot of time in the South Pacific personally meeting with his growers. And no distractions like tv screens or pool tables like an actual bar. Instead they offer things like board games and a guitar if you are lucky enough to play. There is a real sense of community in both locations with fun activities monthly at each location. I also like that they have chosen not to also serve Kratom out of respect for the ceremonial history of kava. It’s an experience!“

“Hands down the best Hawaiian food in Portland! Steven, was super friendly and explained his menu to me in detail. He adds his own Korean twist to the dishes that were passed down to him from his mom. The mac salad 10/10! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!“

“We stopped off at SeaSweets on a recent trip to Portland and hands down, they make the best poke bowls I've ever had. I am not easily impressed when it comes to seafood bowls, but SeaSweets has a very pleasant staff serving really high quality fish, delicious sauces, and toppings for days. Absolutely phenomenal.“

Since we were hot and it was lunch time we decided to try LETS ROLL and are thrilled that we did. We had the Very Vegan Burrito. I couldn't understand why Bo asked us if we wanted wasabi and ginger (again, I was hot and hungry and obviously not paying attention) so we said sure. The burrito was outstanding and the wasabi was just the kick to put it over the edge! When I went back to tell them how wonderful it was I got a side of Taro Chips and Guac, and must admit to being a little leery about having ginger in my guac. It had to be the best guac I've had in a long, long time! Bottom line, super good food, seriously nice people - can't wait to go back again!“

“I've had Ohana's Kalua pig and teriyaki beef before, but this was my first time having the garlic prawns. They sautéed to perfect point of doneness, with a delicious garlic flavor. I'm not sure how to rate the kalua pig, other than to say it was bomb. Not too salty and not too fatty. I love kalua pig so much. The beef teriyaki was good as well. Nice tender cuts of beef, grilled just right, with tasty teriyaki sauce I tried the grilled pineapple too, for the first time. It tasted like, grilled pineapple. Ohana is a solid quality restaurant, day in and day out. Til next time.“

“Friendly owners/operators. Had a issue thinking the food was off actually twice like bad smell. They made me something else which was kind. I shortly after determined it wasn't the food that was smelling bad but actually if was smell coming from the chopsticks I was using!!! So peeps sensitive to smell that like using chopsticks be aware perhaps go for the fork included in the bag instead. The husband in the kitchen is a talented photographer and has nice giant pictures of his on the wall in the dining area. I'll continue to be a returning customer. “I’ve been eating here, 15 years, maybe even longer who knows but I’ve only had like Five problems One time I didn’t get the extra macaroni that I wanted another time I didn’t get the extra Sauces I paid for that I wantedAnd I do eat here a lot I get the same thing if not more every time I usually get two large dishes for myself and one for my woman she as well has eaten here that long as well born in Oregon This was the first time we got our dishes with no sauces you know that delicious Noho’s teriyaki sauce.. Don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t cooked literally off the grill but no sauces they always top it off with all the teriyaki sauce they’re homemade teriyaki sauce, which makes it delicious. Alex, the manager at the time that I did not know gave me five sauces. I got home open it up found out that my meat had no sauce and only the sauce that they gave me was the five packs that was gonna do me nothing I go through a lot of sauce I always pay extra for sauce because it’s so delicious and I would’ve paid extra if I would’ve known I got dried meat but sure I brought it back. They made me too brand dishes lots of sauce, they even gave me a full bottle brand new, not open bottle of their homemade sauce, and everything was made us even came Mac salad because that’s my favorite too thank you Alex put it in the dishes and making it right“

“Menu looked awesome, only 2 vegetarian options, they were okay. Tofu was described as “a sea of flavors” which I’m not sure is accurate but it was fine. The meat though- looked and smelled SO GOOD. I mean who goes to a Hawaiian restaurant for tofu anyways lol everyone else loved their food, big fans of the teriyaki chicken and the ribs. Most dishes came with a side of Mac salad and rice. The dining room is small and fairly basic. Better if you can sit outside by the "lake".Parking: Parking is a small lot and shared with another restaurant. The office building next-door has a larger parking lot but is fairly full during business hours.“

“I hate and love that this place is a far drive from me because if it was close, I would be broke lol I absolutely love the variety of places they have to offer. The inside was very clean and open which was nice and the restaurants are super close to each other. I couldn't decide between sushi and Hawaiian so I decided to get both! “A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. It is refreshing to see hard working small business owners still making it work.“

“Da Hui was one of the few places open during this last icy storm. Our power went out, so this we awesome! We get there the place is nice and warm. The service was unbelievably friendly and fast.
