It made my other experiences in the Portland Thai food scene seem like fast food in comparison, and that isn't a criticism of the other great Thai restaurants I frequent fairly regularly. Lang Baan really is that good. One bit of warning those who don't closely peruse the tab prior to paying: 20% gratuity is automatically added to the total bill. “I was in Portland for cancer treatment and had to have a special diet. I could only drink broth. I went to Thai Seasons to ask for their help, because I trust the ingredients they put in their food. They were so kind to me and prepared a Tom Ka broth and a chicken broth for me. These broths were perfect, nourishing, and delicious. The ladies at Thai Seasons really turned a dismal day into a lovely one for me, and I will always visit them and eat there every time I am in Portland.“
