50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Portland

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. “What a great place! We stopped here for lunch finally and will definitely be back.

I first discovered this place after having visited Germany and looking for good schnitzel here at home. The hours are a lil weird with our schedule, but we finally made it! This place is as close as I've found to what we enjoyed over seas.

We got all 4 of the lunch schnitzels. They're half orders and a lil smaller. So, it was perfect for the three of us. The dill pickle soup is excellent and the house-made Radler... Wow! Everyone over here wants to add juice to their radlers, but in Germany they add Sprite and that's really tough to find over here for some reason... Anyway, Otto and Anita do it right.

The atmosphere was cute and homey. There was plenty of seating, but maybe not plenty of parking. We got a lil creative.

We were too full for dessert, but it looks delicious. We'll definitely be back.“

This place is the most amazing Japanese curry I've ever eaten. The Doria is my favorite. I have been in their shop three times and the owner and staff are so nice and the atmosphere is great.

I order on postmates often (twice this week). My only complaint is that I wish they'd sell the ice cream via delivery too as well as their other tasty drinks.“

“What a great experience. Our party of four was there for brunch. I had apple fritters with side of amazing Hungarian sausage with homemade mustard. - exceptionally good! My wife and daughter had baked pancakes with plums, the other with raisins. Very unique, very good as well. One man runs the whole restaurant from kitchen to table. Loved the experience.“

“just stopped in today before work for lunch. The attendant was personable and respectful. The food was made quick and even taking it to go, it was still warm and delicious once i made it home. I find new experiences pretty daunting, but i felt attended to and was helped when i had questions. I've had other "bowl" quick bite alternatives to The Whole Bowl but this was the easiest and most delicious experience by far.“

The place is small, maybe max capacity 20 and the servers was hospitable.
