50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Portland

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.

To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!

I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. “Twice now I’ve eaten at Ox. I came back for the Clam Chowder with Smoked Bone Marrow as it left such a lasting impression. This time, we tried the Skirt Steak with the Radicchio & Romaine Salad. I first discovered this place after having visited Germany and looking for good schnitzel here at home. The hours are a lil weird with our schedule, but we finally made it! This place is as close as I've found to what we enjoyed over seas.

We got all 4 of the lunch schnitzels. They're half orders and a lil smaller. So, it was perfect for the three of us. The dill pickle soup is excellent and the house-made Radler... Wow! Everyone over here wants to add juice to their radlers, but in Germany they add Sprite and that's really tough to find over here for some reason... Anyway, Otto and Anita do it right.

The atmosphere was cute and homey. There was plenty of seating, but maybe not plenty of parking. We got a lil creative.

We were too full for dessert, but it looks delicious. We'll definitely be back.“

“It seemed like a small family owned restaurant with authentic korean home cooked meal. I ordered the pork fried gyoza & spicy soondubu soup which came with japchae (glass noodle salad) and rice. Their 'spicy' is a level 7 and the added 'special pork' in the soondubu was the highlight of the dinner.
The place is small, maybe max capacity 20 and the servers was hospitable.
