“Best soft serve ice cream I've ever had and now I'm finding out that it's dairy free? Mind blown! I had to stay in the car with our pup so hubby brought it out. The waffle cone was also the best. So fresh and delicious. I normally don't care for waffle cones but I ate the whole darn thing. We want to come back to do their dinner on Saturday night.“

“Stopped here on a whim and this was exactly the kind of place I was hoping to stumble upon in wine country! Small, family-owned, excellent wine from local vineyards.
David was so hospitable and informative (and funny!) and the wines were interesting and delicious. We were particularly impressed by the white and rose offerings that were far more complex than you sometimes see. The pinot noir was also lovely.
Reasonable tasting fee waived with 2 bottle purchase. Highly recommend!“

“Do not sleep on this place! Big red food truck to your right entering the food truck area. Staff are nice and their shrimp fajita burrito is on point! Home made tortillas for tacos -- also delicious. They give ample salsa. Service is fast. I think I would vote this best Mexican spot in Newberg..“

“My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary and went to five wineries in the area. There is a lot of good wine in the area but our best experience was at Winter’s Hill. Matt met us with a sparkling Pinot Gris. Oregon does their sparking wines well. Winter’s Hill had great Pinot Noir and wonderful white wines too. We joined the wine club and are excited for our wine shipments. The customer service is outstanding. Visit - you will not be disappointed.“

“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“

“I walked in and told Earl I was industry and he gave me an amazing tasting of most of the wines and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the wines. The Pinots are soft and fruity and the Rieslings are quintessentially German in character. Delicious and very affordable. 10/10 would come again.“

“Was unsure what to expect but this experience could not have been better. I took my 85 year old mother to a tasting. She absolutely loved it! They made her feel welcomed, were so very patient, and explained their offerings, and shared stories. It was a wonderful smaller more intimate experience not a rush you through hard sell crowded one like the larger vineyards. Best if all the wines were AMAZING! An organic vineyard with grapes grown with love and care and you can taste it in the final product. Again could not recommend this place more for a peaceful, relaxed, beautiful setting. You can bring your own food to pair with the offerings, plus you can shop for some wonderful pottery pieces by local artists to take home.“

“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.“

Great selections of beer, food, and dog friendly. Restrooms were noticeably clean and beautifully decorated. The TopWire IPA was something to brag about.“

“Popped in to this cozy quiet coffee shop with wide variety of breakfast options including bowls and bagels that are customizable, vegetarian and GF options too. Coffee was excellent and service was fast and friendly. Cute little trinkets to look at and purchase and lots of seating throughout to find a nook. Independent, family-owned, built from the ground up by the fruits of the family’s labor, without the benefits (or restrictions) of wealthy backing. We were treated to a tasting of amazing Pinot Noirs, a white Pinot Noir/Pinot Gris blend, a Riesling, and an outstanding Tempranillo/Pinot blend under the shade of a beautifully appointed canvas tent amid the rows of vines, cooled by refreshing breeze on a warm day as the sounds of relaxing and diverse Latino music played in the background. The authenticity of the place cannot be understated. Elena‘s connection to the land and to the entire process made for an intimate experience. The tribute to her family’s Mexican roots made for a singular experience among wineries not just in the Willamette Valley, but anywhere. Our tasting felt like a true privilege. “We visited Archer several years ago. Their wine is some of the best!! I placed an order in November 2024 but hadn’t received any replies or my order. Phone calls were not answered. Finally today 8 Jan 2025 I made contact with Trevor. Ownership has recently changed hands. He is backlogged but getting the orders slowly out!!! I’ll be looking forward to seeing my bottles arrive!!!“
