“I have had a lot of pho throughout my life and I can honestly say this is probably some of the tastiest and yummiest pho I have ever had! The staff here is absolutely fantastic and so kind and attentive you won't have to worry about grabbing their attention because the kitchen is in open view which makes for a fun and romantic ambiance! This place is one of my new go to restaurants and I will absolutely be recommending this place to all my friends! The price and serving size is absolutely perfect although I wish they added a bit more meat it is still plenty where I'm full for the rest of the day! In summary I absolutely love this place!“

“I just tried this place for the first time today and was not disappointed! I was really craving teriyaki and scanned some places nearby. I was really grateful this place popped up because it is now one of my favorite places to eat. The service was excellent. The lovely lady answered all of our questions kindly and the whole place was clean and looked really pretty in the late afternoon sun. “I am starting to try out food around the PSU campus. I chose Rice Junkies because of the price. I can say I'm not disappointed. I decided to try the Mexican bowl, as it seemed similar to what I'd get at Chipotle. I feel like there is much more food, without the added cost of guacamole, and the cheese is melted! I may have found a good go-to place for food!

One thing is that is is a SMALL place, but there is outside seating. It is definitely more of a to go eatery than sit-in.“

“Holy cow, probably among the best chinese food in town. I asked them to make a General Tso Tofu even though it's technically not on the menu, and I was blown away. The flavor is super complex with fresh ginger and garlic cloves and the tofu is soft and fluffy. Definitely the best restaurant on Macadam no question.“

I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. “We had a large group and ordered one of everything. The Brussels sprouts, octopus and kimchi rice were quite spicy and a few in our group couldn't eat them. Our group particularly liked the duck, pork belly, rice tots and bacon fried rice. The sushi rolls were good, but not particularly creative. The salads seemed the most interesting with mixed results- the one with the peanuts was great, the one with cucumbers no one cared for in our group. Overall good food but nothing really surprising“

Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't have an automatic door that I noticed, but it is on the first floor and the door is wide enough to handle a wheelchair. The counter and several tables are lower to the ground, so the whole thing overall is pretty accessible as long the person in the wheelchair can handle opening the door.“

Plus they have vegetarian options.
Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“It has been a long time since I’ve gone to a teriyaki restaurant because my wife has resisted it. Our friends wanted to go here and, I was excited, and my wife agreed. We both had the chicken teriyaki lunch special, which come with chicken teriyaki on a bed of white rice, a side of either sweet and sour chicken or three pot stickers, and a small side salad with a house dressing. I just assumed the sweet and sour chicken was what I receive in a Chinese restaurant. Boy was I wrong! It was like way over cooked fried chicken. It was so hard that it was difficult to eat and there was absolutely no sweet or sour flavor. My wife said the pot stickers were soft but did not taste very good. Fortunately, the teriyaki chicken was very good and adding the sauce to the rice made the rice very good. The house sauce on the salad was very good. The lunch special came with a soft drink and the entire lunch was $13.50. The lady behind the counter was very nice but speaks Japanese and very little English. I tried to tell her the chicken was almost inedible but she had no idea what I was saying. We do not live in Portland so there is almost no chance we will eat there again but I would recommend the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, which our friends had and they said it was very good.“

“Cozy, intimate, relaxed atmosphere where it feels like you're just hanging out with all of your friends; some old, some new, some you haven't yet met. It was my first time here, and it just kinda felt like being at home. This is the highest praise I could ever offer in describing my experience of a bar.
