We had an issue when our food came out and he happily remade the food for us without a second thought, and comped our second round of drinks for any residual trouble. Kevin is a gem and deserves a raise. One of the best customer service experiences I have ever met. The food was great. “Expect to see long lines. I came to get the garlic chicken and the hamburger steak the garlic chicken however was flavored exceptionally the rice was great along with the macaroni salad however the chicken seem like it was kind of old and a reheated it but it seemed like it was okay the hamburger steak was good however I feel like they need to season the actual steak the gravy was flavored exceptionally well especially when you eat it with the rice but yeah 4 out of 5 stars that did a great job“

2nd and 3rd Visits: Ryan was our server both times. He makes a mean tableside Guacamole, and Flan dessert! Food is consistently high standard here, and only surpassed by Ryan's customer service!!“

“Looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but the food is fantastic! Ate there everyday for a week, prices were very reasonable. The corn beef hash was my favorite. The pancakes are the best I've every had, they make their own batter, (secret recipe). The club sandwich was excellent! Cheeseburger better than average. The breakfast steak was ok, not great. I highly recommend this spot. :)“

“Their shrimp pasta is DIVINE! It's so flavorful and they're quite generous with the amount of shrimp too. I like how they don't take reservations because it just means you're guaranteed a spot if you're there right when they open up.“

“One of the best brunch spots in Portland. Everything is high quality, and they even have delicious mocktails! The seasonal veggie hash was a clear winner for us. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. Highly recommend- come early because it’s crowded and there’s always a line!!“

“Awesome addition to the Portland coffee scene. Hit up about 5 coffee shops on a trip and sterling was up there along with Sisters. Worker was incredibly helpful and friendly, noticed we were visiting and recommended other coffee shops too. Real inviting space and Kens is just up the street which makes for a killer combo. Before leaving decided to get some beans and worker comp'd me some house beans, such a kind gesture!“
