“We recently dined in at this location and we were all blown away by the service, food and atmosphere. Zack was our waiter and he was very attentive and friendly. The entire staff was incredibly accommodating to our large party and small kids. The food came out quickly, even on a busy evening and everything was delicious. Really fun, lively environment! Melissa the manager was friendly and clearly has a great team working there. All around, just really happy with our recent experience and we'll be back!“

“I've always had decent food here at Bannings. This morning I ordered Pumpkin pancakes.....what a disappointment. The pumpkin batter needed salt added to it and it also could have used a bit more sugar in the batter. The syrup was not real maple syrup but table top ad says, "warm maple syrup," so I expected real maple syrup. It also says, "whipped butter." I asked the waiter about the maple syrup and he told me it was "artificial" maple and argued the fact that the restaurant never said "real" maple syrup. Maybe the butter is whipped margarine...who knows what liberties are taken in menu descriptions. I'm a "real" maple syrup customer.“

When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! “My friend and I decided to come and have happy hour and we ordered california roll the wagu beef sliders the cod tacos and the fishermens stew. I enjoyed the sliders very much. The california roll had more rice than filling but, the crab meat, avocado and cucumber had good flavor but the quantity was very small. the cod tacos didn't say it was blackened with spices that were a little more than my taste buds could handle. the fishermens stew was very flavorfull and had well cooked fish and seafood. I would not recommend the california roll because of the amount of rice.“
