“Yummy food and margaritas!”

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."”

“Not sure what took us so long to try Maxine’s, but that’s our loss. Our server, Madeline, was great.. friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She was assisted by Dillon, who was fun to talk with and informative. All the food was quite delicious, with the standouts being the crab cake, escargot, burger, and lobster ravioli. The atmosphere is eclectic and just plain fun. We will be back soon.”

Grazi and Luana were absolutely perfect, Ronan was also so kind and helpful. There was also a very kind man bringing us the grillades. We had plenty of tasteful food, plenty of smiles and lovely people helping us. The staff is polite and attentive, working together to provide a wonderful eating experience. “It was our first time visiting for magical dining. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation and they seated us immediately. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.”

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.”

I had the Cilantro light green rice 🍚 which I never had before, It was so tasty 😋 and the waiter named Javier was very friendly and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything, n asking, is all good... Our lunch price was $45, only because we just landed 🛩 from a 5 hr flight n we were hungry.. We did order appetizers on the side. Cilantrillo Bacalaito and Empanadas 🥟 are delicious. Our 13 year old granddaughter kept saying it was some of the best pizza she'd ever eaten! As previous owners of a pizza restaurant, we thought our pizzas were pretty amazing! “This place is such a hidden gem. It’s a really chill cafe, they sell small potted plants, incredible pastries, milk teas and lattes. I gift treats to my clients from here sometimes and it’s always a hit. The spicy cheese cookies are fantastic in tomato soup or crushed over salad, or air fried with Parmesan. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, eager to answer questions and offer samples. My absolute favorite was a dish inspired by pho and French onion soup — wow. It completely blew me away. The depth of flavor, the creativity, the comfort — it’s one of those dishes you never forget. I sincerely hope they add it to the menu so more guests have the chance to experience it.

The staff was incredible — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The music playlist was also curated to perfection and added so much to the overall ambiance. Shout out to the chef and the entire team for creating such a thoughtful, elevated experience. You can absolutely see why Camille has earned their stars — every single detail is carefully considered, and it’s all so well deserved.

Our server explained all of our options with recommendations. our food was SUPERB. The steak was in the top three, I have ever had. The food remains fantastic — the best Caesar salad after even all these years of making it the same way, meatballs so tender you'd think you were eating tofu, and carefully cooked (not overcooked mind you) seafoods. I wish I had the appetite to have the veal chop and more pastas.”

Even the managing partner, Philip and the manager, Jeff introduced themselves. We had the price fixe Land and Sea and opted for a tomahawk ribeye which was done as I prefer with little seasoning and salt. The mushroom bisque soup was flavorful. Our waitress, Dana was attentive and professional. I would definitely come back because Del Frisco’s will probably cost us twice as much.”

My husband and I have been coming to Christners for 12 years now and it never disappoints! The food is always amazing. The filet mignon is perfectly cooked with amazing flavor every time. I recommend the crab cake and the lobster bisque to start. The service is consistently friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. A very special thank you to Seth and Jordan for their great service. They truly made the experience even better.

Dessert!!!! The orange cake… absolutely amazing and the perfect way to finish the meal!!! I highly recommend Christners Steal House to anyone who loves great food and great hospitality.

“I looked for an Italian restaurant and Danino’s had a lot of good reviews. It did take a bit of time for service, but that’s because there were 2 servers for the entire restaurant and all the tables were seated at similar times. We also had a reservation for 7:00 pm but showed up 45 minutes early due to being hungry. They accommodated us and didn’t make us wait. It was well worth the wait as all five of us ordered different meals and we were all pleasantly surprised by the taste. All the food was the perfect temperature, seasoned well, and overall a great pick! 10/10 would recommend.”

“I had lunch at the bond themed restaurant in July 2024. I ate there yesterday and had the same burger. It definitely wasn’t as good as it was last time I was there. The first time I ate there I thought it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. This time It was average or below. Burger paddy was smaller and overdone. Next time I go to Dezerland I will go to Ford’s Garage, it’s about a mile away and they have great burgers.”

“We dined at Jaleo last night to watch the “Dreams that soar” drone show at Disney springs. We were blown away with our experience, everything about it was 5 star! We were seated in the patio directly in front of the lake where the drone show takes place. Our server was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and he was very knowledgeable and able to make recommendations in the menu. For the show, you can choose either the chefs tasting menu, or the A La Carte menu. We chose few dishes each off the menu, and everything was delicious! My kids had the grilled cheese sandwich and my son said that it was the best he’d ever tasted. Overall a magical experience and a great way to end our holiday!”

“This is a very good ramen spot. If you sit at the bar you can even watch them hand make the noodles. They offer 8 hour clear broth. It can get a little busy, because it's rather small. However the noodles are with the wait. Even the gluten-free rice noodles were really good. It's also bottomless noodles! Very much worth the price. And the service was nice.”

This stuff is worth sailing through hurricanes and fighting dragons for. My life is permanently better for having had this at some point. The PB and J was the one I ordered, and I would recommend the same, although I'm sure they are all fantastic. Expect a decently long line at all times, but they tend to serve people pretty quickly due to the limited options, and this just ensures everything is served as fresh as possible. They each cost around $18, but you're in a theme park, I left full, and I would happily pay double that from a restaurant and still be satisfied. I can't recommend this any higher”

“This place is SO GOOD. We drive here and have also ordered through a delivery service several times. The churros are always crispy and delicious. We are not big sweets fans but go out of our way and LOVE when we get churros (cinnamon sugar with Nutella on the side) from here. Always nice people and speedy service.
